The place was beautiful and the hosts were very responsive. The cinema room was a hit with us all - watching Lord of the Rings from a hot tub was amazing! The rooms were all comfortable, the animals were all gorgeous and the fairy garden was adorable. It felt like a real hideaway, and we'd be delighted to visit again. Thank you ever so much!!

Honestly, Could not have found a better place to spend time with friends, kitchen was amazing, so well stocked - even with things like lasagne dishes and trays. things some houses forget. the location was incredible, right on a bridal way, lovely local pubs to have a drink mid walk. Hot tub was such a treat. Heads up, the garden is not secure, wasn't a problem but if you have a dog it's worth noting.

Amazing little gem that we will 100% be returning to! This was booked as a well needed break from reality after a tumour diagnosis in the family and it certainly delivered and did the job My children absolutely loved the pool and games room, and the cottage was both well equipped and isolated - exactly what we needed Thank you for an amazing stay, it was so relaxing and provided some well needed family time away from the hussle and bussle of real life - once I have recovered from my upcoming surgery, we will be returning for another dose of rest and relaxation at this lovely retreat 💕

We loved our stay in Cowbridge - our daughters were so thrilled to find the new play equipment and we all enjoyed our swims in the pool. The Quail was well appointed and very comfortable. Our youngest (5) particularly loved the toilet paper flowers and towel swans. Anita made us very welcome, thank you for having us to stay at your beautiful cottage.

Brilliant stay for my mothers 60th. House was very spacious and brilliant location. Check in very easy and straight forward. We had an issue with the upstairs water pressure but the maintenance man came out the following morning to look at it. Would definitely come back. We very much loved our stay.

We had a great stay. Everything was as described and we had loads of fun playing table tennis and pool. We also took a walk down to the local hotel and had a delicious meal at the restaurant. Beautiful views from the hot tub and Andrew was really helpful and responsive. Great place to unwind away from the crowds.

The photos do not do the Drydock Cottage justice - it is even more beautiful than it looks in the photos and also a lot more spacious. The attention to detail and every element of the design that has gone into the conversion of this building is second to none. The location is also absolutely perfect - so peaceful, tucked away in gorgeous grounds with a view straight out onto the canal and across over the valley to the mountains beyond. I could have sat and watched the world go by, including the families of ducks, all day. The home made goodies were very welcoming and I loved every minute of my stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place for people looking to escape to somewhere unique and peaceful.

5/5 stars, the house was immaculate, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and close to everything you needed. The tv had Netflix, Disney + etc so great for staying inside on rainy days. Tea, coffee, sugar, cotton pads and other essentials bits were supplied already. Sandra recommended local restaurants, pubs, places to visit as well as how long to walk / drive there. Barry island was only a 10-15 minute drive (it did take us 30 minutes in an uber on a busy and hot Saturday so keep traffic in mind), one of the recommended pubs was the captains wife which was excellent, loads of parking, just down the road and the food was incredible (just book in advance for a table, especially for Sundays). Loved the garden, great seating area, all very clean and well maintained and beds were super comfy. Honestly can’t fault it, sandra was a fantastic host, told us everything we needed to know and even left a little note to welcome us all.

Lawrence was a super host. The house is spotless, a really cosy place to stay in. Couldn’t have asked of anymore from Lawrence in terms of communication. He was on hand if we needed anything or had any question. Would highly recommend

We stayed in this property as a group of 11 celebrating a friend’s hen party. The property was perfect for us, a nice big kitchen/dining/lounge area to socialise in with patio doors opening out into the garden. We found the bedrooms spacious and nicely decorated, and it worked well having 3 different bathrooms when getting ready. The property is walking distance to a nice selection of bars and restaurants and a short taxi ride into Cardiff city centre (cost around £10). It exceeded my expectations for the weekend. Jay was also a great host - very responsive to my messages before and during our stay, plus sharing recommendations of places to visit. Thank you for having us!

Becky’s place was spectacular it looked just like the pictures! It a great small little cottage for a little family! It was perfect for our two week stay in Wales! We absolutely loved it. Becky was so responsive, respectful helpful. Always willing to help. If you are going to wales stay here. There are so many little pubs around and not far down the road is a little strip mall with shops. This was the best place ever to stay. I cannot say enough!

A lovely terraced home, within easy walking distance of Penarth town centre. It's a great base to explore the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan and extremely easy to get in to Cardiff. The house was very clean and comfortable and with everything you would need for a great break. Michael and Clare were great hosts and very helpful and responsive. We loved our holiday at Skipper's Cottage.

Highly recommend - can’t say enough nice things about Amelia and her house. She replied to our booking with a huge list of recommendations on how best to enjoy our time in Cardiff. The house is in a great location just across the River from Cardiff Castle and Bute Park. It was easy to walk from the train station and roll our suitcases along with us (12 minutes or so). That’s also where a lot of the bus routes end if you go further afield. It’s less than 10 minutes to the ferry pier to catch the boat down to the Mermaid Quay and the Bay. I’ll grind an axe for a second but the Aquabus operator didn’t show for their 10am service two days in a row. Recommend taking the other service that leaves on the half hour starting at 10:30. The house has so much character and the decor is so fun and bright! We cooked twice in the small but totally usable kitchen. The living area is efficiently arranged. You should book this place!

Great place for weekend away, outside area lovely for chilled evening. Local amenities were great. House was very modern with a unique twist. Bed was comfy and clean. Had everything that was needed for a home away from home.

What an amazing place! The description and pics were spot on. Davina is the best of the best at hosting, nothing was too much trouble for her including arranging a late check out for myself and my wife even at late notice. We didn't want to leave. Nice house in a lovely area of Cardiff which was great for our needs. Close to nice parks, cafes, and restaurants. Instructions were very clear and check-in was easy. free on-street parking just outside. Would recommend!

We stayed at Pearls wonderful air bnb to celebrate my Dad's 94th birthday. The house was stunning and very comfortable. The location was perfect, only a short walk to the front, not far from shops and great pubs. We didn't encounter any problem with parking outside the house. Would love to go back in the not too distant future.

We had a fantastic week in Cardiff, staying at Michael’s place in Penarth. The house was perfect for our group of six - clean, spacious, stylish, and equipped with everything we needed. It really felt like a home away from home. Penarth is a lovely area with great cafes, restaurants, and a beautiful coastal walk. We especially loved the walk over the Cardiff Bay Barrage Locks. The kitchen was well equipped and with a large wine fridge, which is a godsend with such a large group. Michael, Nadia and Kate were brilliant hosts, quick to respond and full of great local recommendations. We’d absolutely stay again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We had a great experience staying at Vintage Vibes, from the efficient and helpful communication, the location, the comfortable homeliness of the property, the cleanliness, the extra touches of a welcome message and welcome package, and not forgetting how welcoming Jenny had been with our dog- a dog bed, blanket, water and food bowls, dog toy and treats! Jenny was able to recommend places to eat which are dog-friendly and would be able to cater for all our food allergies and preferences. Would highly recommend staying here! Thank you Jenny! Hope to be back next year.
