We have just come back from a wonderful week at Jeanies Gite. We’ve had an amazing time and will be back. The location was idyllic. The accommodation was lovely. The pool was great. And Jeanie was so welcoming. We went to the Dordogne to sightsee but the Gite was so good we stayed there, other than a lovely kayak down the Dordogne. Thank you Jeanie, we will see you again. Soon hopefully!

Logement agréable dans lequel rien ne manque . Superbe vue sur la vallée de la terrasse. L'hôte est très réactif. La piscine est un petit plus en période de forte chaleur. L'accessibilité au logement est un peu compliqué mais c'est le prix à payer pour la vue et la tranquillité

We went as 3 families, 2 with young children. The Villa was perfect, pool was great and the aircon was a blessing on the few extremely hot days we had! It was very easy to walk into town with a variety of restaurants and shops, supermarkets very close by and a Lidl in walking distance. The villa is far enough away though that there is no traffic etc noise, very peaceful surroundings. Emmanuelle was very responsive to messages and always easy to get hold of, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had the most wonderful holiday at Stephane and Bob's beautiful gite. They are very friendly and thoughtful hosts who have a fabulous home and garden. Our daughter loved the pool and felt very at home (as did we). The perfect place to relax but also very close to lots of places to visit. We hope to return! Many thanks 🙏

This is really the best place for a stay in Sarlat! Step out of the frontdoor and you are in the beautiful medieval town. Step outside the garden (!) door and there is parkingspace and thus possibility for unloading and uploading your luggage. The house is charming and gives a nice cool when temperatures are above 30 degrees! Sitting in the garden is a pleasure! And feeding Caroline -who can run very fast!) -her half apple a day is also a feast! We recommend this house to all our family and friends and to all you readers of this review. Oh, yes, the kitchen is great! Since we did not want to eat out every day because of the very good food one can buy here and I love cooking, this kitchen is great! Jean Christophe was very friendly in all his communication by mail. (And yes, Albie sells the best!) Nelly was so friendly and sweet when she welcomed us! Thank you both very much! And don’t forget the little Caroline! We never hand-fed a turtle before ! We really grew fond of her! Super!!

Séjour en famille idéal dans un cadre ravissant. La maison est charmante et tout confort, Julie et son époux sont des hôtes attentionnés, le hameau de Pechboutier sort tout droit d’un rêve. A 15 mn à peine de beaucoup de points d’intérêt préhistoriques (Les Eyzies, Font-de-Gaume, Combarelles…) pour le plus grand plaisir des petits et des grands :)

Wow, we just loved this beautiful house. Marine and Jean Marc have a truly special spot, perched high up on a hill, with the incredible character of an old house but all the modern touches. It truly is a work of art inside and out. We felt lucky to spend a week in this delightful house and Jean Marc and Marine couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful. The pool was lovely and the outdoor areas are so peaceful and relaxing. The town is close by on foot or just a minute or two away by car and has everything you may need, and the Thursday market is spectacular, but there are also many special shops and spots to visit in the region. It’s a really wonderful house, one of our favorites that we’ve stayed in on Airbnb. Hope to return one day and highly recommend staying here if you have the chance. Thanks so much!

Caroline und Gilles sind sehr herzliche und freundliche Gastgeber, die bei Fragen sofort zur Stelle waren. Die Unterkunft ist wie auf den Fotos beschrieben. Es handelt sich um eine wirklich außergewöhnliche, sehr große Wohnung. Das Wohnzimmer (früher die Bahnhofshalle) ähnelt einem Museum, Caroline und Gilles haben alte Bahnhofsutensilien und Bilder gesammelt und dort ausgestellt. Haus und Garten sind liebevoll restauriert und gestaltet, die beiden haben viel Arbeit (und Geld) investiert, um aus dem alten Bahnhof eine wundervolle Unterkunft zu machen. In der Küche fehlt es an nichts. Das Zentrum von Le Bugue ist ca 1 km entfert, über den schönen Fahrradweg "voie verte" sind es 4 km. Wir haben die Radtouren und unsere Unterkunft sehr genossen. Ich habe mich auch über den persönlichen Kontakt und einen kleinen "Plausch" am Abend gefreut, so konnte ich mal wieder die "eingerosteten" Französisch-Kenntnisse anwenden. Vielen Dank für alles!

This is a lovely apartment and just as described. It has been very tastefully renovated and the fixtures and fittings are high quality and comprehensive. The location in the old quarter of Bergerac, near the river and close to shops, restaurants and tourist opportunities is first rate and it would be hard to find something better in a 2 bed apartment. Highly recommended and I am sure we will book again in the future.

This is a wonderfully unique airbnb in the “rapunzel” tower & i loved it! Others have mentioned the spiral stair climb - it’s real but totally worth the climb. Gorgeous views over old town roof tops, in the midst of beautiful old streets & lovely restaurants (triple thumbs up to la petit auberge - best meal I’ve had in my 3 weeks in france). Good living area & kitchen with balcony (& little washing machine works a treat snd good outdoor area for quick drying). Upstairs another lovely space with bedroom & bathroom. Highly recommend this airbnb.

Merci pour votre charmant accueil. Le gite de Lou est vraiment charmant, cosy. Lit super confortable, salle de douches superbe, cuisine bien équipée et rien de mieux que de prendre son petit dej sur la terrasse avec le gazouillis des oiseaux. C'est super aussi de pouvoir profiter du grand jardin et de faire un peu de Frisbee avec super Milo :) Merci passez un bel été dans votre superbe endroit !

We throughly enjoyed our stay. We were met by Laurent's colleague who showed us how to lock the door from the inside. We didn't realize that locking the door from the outside (and unlocking it) would be such a challenge. But Laurent and his wife were readily available both times we needed instructions. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. In addition to the Nespresso, we appreciated the electric coffee maker with filters provided so we could make a pot of coffee. What stood out- 2 towels plus face cloth per person, the terrace, and a typewritten booklet by the owner with specific info in French and English about the apartment and area. Highly recommend this apartment and we would definitely stay again!

Le contact a été facile et fluide avec Jérémy. Très souriant, ponctuel et clair dans ses explications, il sait vous mettre à l'aise d'emblée. L'appartement correspondait en tous points à la description, il est moderne, bien équipé, décoré avec goût et est bien plus grand dans la réalité. Il est également très bien situé à Brive, l'hyper centre est à une dizaine de minutes à pieds. Enfin, la place de parking est un indéniable atout.

What a hidden gem! Lovely place to really unwind and relax. Christine and Olivier really made us feel welcome and were responsive to any questions we had during our stay. Perfect location easily accessible and great parking area for if you hire a car. We will definitely be returning in the near future can’t recommend enough.

Perfekte Lage direkt an der Dordogne, man ist quasi mit den Füßen im Wasser. Wir waren in der oberen Wohnung mit einem wintergartenähnlichen Vorbau mit aufschiebbaren Fenstern, sodass zu egal welcher Jahreszeit die Aussicht auf den Fluss fantastisch ist. Dort, an dem großen Tisch sitzend, kann man essen, abends ein Glas trinken oder einfach nur dem Treiben auf dem Fluss (nur Kanus/ Kajaks, keinerlei motorbetriebene Boote) zuschauen. Die kleine Terrasse ist ebenfalls zur Flusseite hin ausgerichtet, aber auch im großen Garten kann man picknicken oder Liegestühle nutzen. Das kleine Kiosk am Strand vor der Wohnung hat ausgezeichnete kleine Gerichte. Wir waren auch von der Umgebung begeistert, da man täglich verschiedene Besichtigungen machen kann. Hier war einfach alles super. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Danke, liebe Celia für Dein unglaubliches Entgegenkommen und Deine Gastfreundschaft!

My wife and I cannot begin to express our appreciation for Louise as host and our accommodations during our visit to Le Bugue. Louise went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and was responsive and proactive in communicating with us leading up to our visit. The accommodations themselves and the setting is a magical experience and we cannot recommend them enough.

My wife and I stayed at this apartment recently for seven nights. Communication with the host, Muriel, was excellent from start to finish. Check in and out was straight forward as Muriel picked us up at the station and her husband dropped us off. The apartment is located in a quiet residential area, only a two or three minute walk from the centre. It is well equipped for making meals, despite not having an oven, has a lovely balcony and is quiet, especially at night. It also has the bonus of an underground parking space although a small car is required. I would certainly recommend this apartment as a base for staying in beautiful Sarlat and visiting surrounding areas.
