Family-friendly holiday rentals in Castelletto, Genoa

We had a wonderful stay at this unique home. Never stayed in a castle before...and it was awesome! It is full of history and charm, with a family feel. We spent a good amount of time out on the stone deck enjoying wine and the great views. We also enjoyed simply walking around the inside and looking at the old paintings and decorations. It is great when an Airbnb goes beyond being just a place to sleep and instead becomes a big part of the overall travel experience. The castle is modernized in the important ways, but the host does go out of his way to portray it accurately in the full description. Also, it is a bit outside of town and so it may be best to have a vehicle during your visit. The host was extremely responsive when I had a couple of questions, and the arrival/check in process was made easy with an in-person meeting when we arrived. We also had an amazing dinner at the restaurant they recommended. Overall, this was an exceptional Airbnb and I would highly recommend it.

Fantastic stay, it felt like being at home! The location was perfect, very central and accessible to sightseeing and restaurants. The host, Angela, was very friendly and super responsive, with great greeting and shared a lot of suggestions. Everything went very smoothly and no issues. Highly recommended :)

The accommodation is comfortable, and very quiet, we appreciated the uniqueness with this huge hot tub, and the whole stone structure. The night was quiet with a good comfortable bed. I would definitely recommend this type of accommodation for short stays, let's say for a romantic weekend and finding yourself in a small but very special nest for couples. Only the bathroom is a bit sacrificed, but for a weekend it can be fine. The private barbecue area is very much appreciated. As for the reception by Stefano, I must say he was very friendly and helpful.

Perfect apartment for our vacation of 6 days. Everything was like description! Albert response very quickly and helped wirth everything, The apartment was very close to beach and city center, also the apartment was large, very clean, the kitchen is full equiped. You will not regret if you choose this acomodation!

We really enjoyed it. We found the apartment nicer than in the photos. The garden is largely secluded and even has a mini sea view. We especially liked the light turquoise doors. The apartment is very well suited for two people. In the bedroom it was quite cool, which in the height of summer can certainly be an advantage. Daniela and Giampaolo were perfect hosts, the communication worked out great and we were even personally received - nowadays a rarity on Airbnb - and provided with excursion tips. The apartment is located about 400m from the train station. From there, you can also take an elevator to the beach promenade of Camogli. A bus stop is a 2-minute walk from the apartment. Buses run every 30-60 minutes, for example, to a large supermarket, to Ruta, Recco and San Margarita Di Ligure. Thank you very much, we will definitely come back and can highly recommend Daniela's apartment.

My mom and I had a great time in Matteo's house, the apartment is very nice, modern and equipped with all the comforts, bright and spacious, strategic for the center but also to easily reach the Levantine Riviera, the parking space it provides is essential. Host available and super courteous, in-person check-in which is a plus to have all the info about the house and the surroundings. We felt right at home.

Amazing location and perfect apartment for the "setting"

We had a beautiful and pleasant stay at Paola and Matthia's, we thank them for their warm welcome and their good humor that did us a great good, a superb view of the mountain, hikes accessible from the accommodation like "Mont Cavallo". Great host, a change of scenery to relax for a few days, things we are looking for in our Country but where kindness is not always there. Really feel free to go to Paola's we will come back to continue visiting the coast!!

Lovely cottage with private outdoor space. Host had provided us with many tips about the public transportation and the amenities in the area. Bus stops practically at the door. In short, an ideal stay where we have enjoyed ourselves.

This is such an amazing property, with amazing views from both balcony's. Lucia was so friendly and made us feel right at home. We arrived late in the afternoon, hungry and tired, Lucia kindly booked us a table at an authentic Italian restaurant literally 30 seconds walk away from the apartment. She also kindly gave us instructions on how we could best see the surrounding areas and how to travel around which made our experience even more amazing. The center of Santa Margherita is just a short bus ride away and there is a ferry port where you can explore portofino, San fruttusco and many more places of the coast. We will definitely be back!😁 We will definitely be back😁

Amazing flat, full of personality and furnished with great taste, attention to detail and with a great use of space. The terrace gives a glorious view of the port and the bay. The kitchen is beautiful and well equipped, so the bathroom. There is a big washing machine and dishwasher. The fridge is huge. The beds were comfortable. 2 TV sets and powerful WiFi . The flat was clean and very well maintained. It is on the upper floor of an old building with no lift so I would not recommend the place to people with mobility issues. However as I said the view from the roof terrace more than justifies the physical effort. The self check in process is super easy and the owner is easily reachable and kind. The position in front of the renovated old port is ideal to move around the city centre and to reach the Aquarium and other local amenities. A metro station is at 5 min on foot, the main train station ( Principe) at 15 min walking distance. A great and very pleasurable stay.

Very friendly and always available hosts who always took care of us. Small requests, such as new towels, were fulfilled immediately. The house was beautifully furnished with a wonderful view, but you have to walk a little longer to get to the busy part of the city. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, you will get your money's worth in this location. We traveled with a small dog and that was also possible without any problems. Hosts were also very happy about the little one and the dog could play in the fenced garden without us having to worry. We felt very comfortable and welcome and see no reason that would speak against a second visit! :)

We really liked Giulia's house for its historical allure. It was perfect for our Ligurian weekend! We recommend it :)

Super clean apartment and wonderful view. It is worth all 4 floors to be done on foot without an elevator. Despite being on a street full of bars and restaurants, in the house you only hear the sound of the waves, the seagulls, the swallows and the bells of the church right in front. We will certainly return.

A beautiful home with the best airbnb kitchen we've experienced. The outside space is fantastic with a wonderful garden full of stunning plants and useful herbs. We were given some fresh lemons which really took the G&Ts up a level!! Garage is perfect for a car but everywhere is walkable. FULLY recommend this property to anyone thinking of staying in Rapallo.

We absolutely loved our stay! The apartment was so cosy, stylish, and full of character—it really felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect: just a short walk to the centre and the train station, which made getting around super easy. We especially appreciated all the helpful info provided about things to do in the area. We walked to Portofino one day (such a beautiful experience!) and took the train to Monterosso for a fantastic day trip. Both were highlights of our time here. Everything about the place made our trip extra special—we’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Just look out of the window and enjoy the VIEW! Staying at Angelos Penthouse really was a brillant family holiday. Sitting on the terrace, enjoying life with our own private pool for the kids on the roof. Nothing more to say. 😃 Angelo and Tommaso were perfect hosts with some really good tips. We will.come back

Fantastic villa. One of the best kept gardens we have seen. Unbelievable view. Well functioning house. Good location in the area. Bring some smaller luggage instead of one big one. There are 140 steps to the villa from the car

Great stay at Daniela's. The view from the terrace is really amazing. Daniela is super accommodating and recommended good places that she was able to book for us. As in most seaside homes in the area, the train passes just behind the house, which is convenient for visiting the surrounding villages but causes a little noise pollution.

We had a great time at the place! The apartment was clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the pictures. The location was great. It is quiet, but still central. The check-in went smoothly, and the host was very friendly, easily accessible and helpful with questions. We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime. Thank you for the wonderful time!
