House holiday rentals in Castel San Giorgio

Monica’s place in Sorrento was a great location. Beautiful views from the piazza, great restaurants and shopping close by, beaches and marina were a short walk away. Monica’s partnership with the hotel was convenient for check-in. She handled our transportation reservation from the train station and to our next destination. If we were to come back to stay in Sorrento we would definitely have Monica’s place on the short list!

Maria's condo in Positano is exactly as described and pictured. Our group of 4 spent two nights and all said how much we would love to live there indefinitely. It's quite the hike down and back from the beach (but pretty much every Airbnb or hotel accommodation is). The only reason for 4 stars is that Maria was still cleaning the unit when we arrived at 3pm check in until 430-- for which she was incredibly apologetic. We were grateful the property is so well taken care of. Definitely don't forget to bring a swim cap down to the pool with you-- they won't let you get in the water without one! (Even if you have your hair up and don't plan to go under).

Extremely clean and beautiful apartment. Very responsive host. The view was spectacular and the patio was very large and spacious. It’s very good for younger people that like to do a lot of walking and hiking. It’s very difficult to get in town especially when you have only a couple of days to explore the city. I had my mom and aunt with me and I would have preferred a hotel by the center of town. We spent a lot of money for taxi . Other than that the place and the host are wonderful and match the description on the listing .

Adriana and her husband Gianfranco went out of their way to make our stay the best ever, they are an amazing couple and their attention to detail is second to none! The pool and garden is totallyprivate and idyllic overlooking the beautiful mountain range including the iconic Mount Vesuvius. Our holiday was concluded with a trip along the Alamfi Coast, Sorrento and the beautiful Isle of Capri onboard Gianfranco's private luxury boat where we were treated like VIPs drinking ice cold Prosecco, beer and a beautiful lunch (this trip is a MUST for everyone staying at this Airbnb) Do not miss out on a lifetime trip! This place was perfection! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome and a tour of this incredible place. The pool and outdoor spaces plus the balcony with its incredible views were a huge hit! The family and their dog are so lovely and we couldn't say a single bad word about our stay here. Great location, big and spacious rooms, plenty of outdoor space and the pool was so good! If you are staying in or around Praiano then I wouldn't look anywhere else. It is even more stunning in real life. We can't wait to come back!

If you are looking for a post card view of Positano and the coastline, this is the place to stay. The property was beautiful and the pool was an added bonus. Air conditioning worked fine for us. Domenico was kind enough to help meet us and assist with our luggage. He even reserved a taxi for our Capri tour and recommend the La Strada restaurant. The food, service and close proximity were all great. One note to keep in mind is the number of steps to get to the property. It can be a bit of challenge for some. Otherwise, we had a memorable stay.

Rebecca was amazing! We had a special celebration for a friend and asked her to get us a cake and she made it happen last minute! She also arranged for a private chef dinner one of the nights and it was absolutely delicious and perfect! The property was beyond gorgeous! So lush and green with views of the water as well! We would highly recommend this property if you are looking for a serene setting!

We loved our stay in Praiano. Valentina was a great host and provided us with lots of helpful advice. The apartment was perfect. We tried out two of the local restaurant recommendations Kasai and Il Parata and both were great. We were so glad we stayed in Praiano where it was less crowded and touristy but you could still easily get to access and enjoy the rest of the Amalfi coast. A great place to base yourself and we highly recommend. Hopefully we are lucky enough to return.

Thank you to Michela and Giancarlo for the most wonderful 10 day trip! Giancarlo was very flexible when our flight got cancelled. The property is beautiful and is a perfect base to explore the Amalfi Coast. It has 2 private areas to sunbathe with sun beds/umbrellas. It is a short walk to the nearest beach and only 10/15 minutes walk into Maiori, where you can get a water ferry or bus to anywhere required. Would highly recommend staying here - Wonderful host, beautiful surroundings, amazing property and overall excellent trip! Thank you, Dan

We had one of the best stays ever at this Airbnb – on a scale of 1 to 5, we’d give it a 10! The property is beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, and super comfortable. Nestled on the side of a hill, the location offers breathtaking views of the town, sea, and Mt Vesuvius. While the 200 steps down to town added a bit of a workout to our daily routine (10 minutes down and 20 minutes back up); we managed just fine and we are in our mid to late 60’s. The hosts picked us up from the train station, drove us directly to the home and took is back when our stay ended We do recommend that anyone with mobility issues check with the hosts to arrange personal transportation before booking, as taxis and Ubers won’t pick you up right at the doorstep. The hosts are exceptional & some of the nicest folks we have met. They are more like concierges than typical Airbnb hosts. They arranged day trips, restaurant reservations and even a private guide to Pompeii. Can’t wait to come back!

Stunning apartment attached to the main house in the stonewall hamlet of Scala. Gorgeous location. If you have a short stay, would recommend packing light because the stairs down to the dwelling and through the hamlet are impressive! Incredibly peaceful with a magical view, and the hosts are so kind and welcoming. Delicious breakfast in the garden and great recommendations for where to go and what to see. Such a treat - highly recommend.

Where to begin with this incredible town and home. Roses dream house is a dream. The sea view and private patio are perfect for your quiet mornings and evenings. It would be a great sun patio too during the day. It was very private. This place had the basic amenities you need. It was clean and super safe! There were no steps to get to this adorable abode, that is not an easy thing to find and was so much appreciated. The host was incredible. So responsive to any question we had. Offered food suggestions, made dinner reservations, gave us boat schedules and more. Inside there is the bus schedule as well. We loved taking the water taxis to Amalfi and Positano instead of a crowded bus. Must eat something light and have drinks at Miragalli, the owner Mario is a gem. Also check out Ciali Bistrot & Kasai was our other favorite restaurant. This place was quiet and we love Praiano away from crowds of the other 2 main towns. We felt like locals. You will not be disappointed!

What a beautiful place to stay.. The view is just amazing..Raffaele was the perfect host, went out of his way to pick us up and drop us back at the station. The apartment was spacious and everything that you needed for a stay. We were helped out also by Raffaele with some places to eat and places to get groceries.. a 10 minute walk down to the beach , which is great for a days sunbathing.. also only about 12/15 minutes walk to the small ferry port. Perfect for Positano, Amalfi. Cetara and minori. Would recommend this place to all of our friends it was the perfect place to finish off our trip to Italy.

The unit offers breathtaking panoramic views. Simona & Alessio are great! We drove in from Rome and they saved a car space for us and helped us with our luggage. They are great communicators. Provided all the extras to make the stay comfortable. They provided Champaign on check in, vegetable's at our door and a cute bottle of lemon cello upon our last day. BE AWARE: In the description it says 200 steps. If you are from the US and other areas its better described as stairs, not steps. The stairs are 200 to the bus stop and another 50 to the two restaurants. And then a steep 200 or 250 back up to the unit. I would say on a given day we did between 1000 and 1500 stairs to and from the unit. I only put this in because there is a difference in steps and stairs and if you have knee or physical issues this may not be the unit for you.

Mirna is a true gem. Saying that she is the perfect host doesn’t do it justice - in the weeks leading up to my stay, she checked in regularly to make sure that I was able to book activities (as things get booked up in the Sorrento Coast). She arranged for me to have groceries delivered since I wasn’t renting a car nor scooter. She provided so much information that guided all of my activities, and even when I needed to make additional plans, she placed those calls for me to ensure that I could get reservations. Her kindness was so appreciated. Her home is very clean and her housekeeper was so helpful, even helping me to carry my luggage up the small hill to the main road. Mirna provided coffee, the kitchen utensils that I needed to make my own meals, and I didn’t need anything more. The VIEW is as spectacular as Mirna is…rent her home, you will regret not doing so…in addition to renting a car or scooter (otherwise, she has the name of a fantastic driver)!

Luisa was an incredible Airbnb host! The villa was in excellent condition, and one of my biggest pet peeves when traveling is the quality of linens — and Luisa absolutely delivered. The bedding and towels were wonderfully plush, soft, and comfortable. She went above and beyond by helping us organize car services, tuk-tuks, and even stocked the villa with all the essentials we requested before our arrival. Her attention to detail and care truly made our stay seamless and enjoyable. I would absolutely stay here again!

My friends and I had the most amazing stay, thanks to our incredible host! From the moment we arrived, he was extremely sweet and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. He set up rides for us and was always quick to respond to any questions we had, making communication a breeze. The Airbnb itself was absolutely stunning — the pictures truly don’t do it justice. It’s like something out of a dream! Every corner of the space had a special charm that made our stay feel magical and unforgettable. One of the highlights of our trip was the morning we were checking out. Our host stopped by and made us all delicious cappuccinos, and we sat together in the kitchen chatting like old friends. It was such a warm and personal touch that really made our stay memorable. The hospitality and the beautiful atmosphere were truly unmatched, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Best location and best patio in positano!

Words cannot describe this home. It was such a beautiful space and great escape from everything. Definitely the nicest place we have ever stayed. Sara was so helpful from the start with everything from dinner reservations to bus tickets. Whatever we needed, she helped through everything. The home was beautiful in every way from start to finish!

FABULOUS and special villa, even more beautiful than in photos. Designed with attention to every detail, with artistic touches throughout. We enjoyed the location, higher up with incredible views and away from the more crowded tourist areas. Our experience in this area felt much more authentic to our experience of Positano years ago before tourism became so heavy. Yet accessible by bus, taxi and on foot via stairs from lower Positano. Market and fantastic restaurants nearby. Roberta was absolutely the best host we’ve ever had. Thoughtful, kind, knowledgeable and professional. She attended to every detail with amazing recommendations and arrangements, from the porter service for our luggage, resources in the neighborhood, last minute dinner reservations, taxi service, an incredible Pompeii tour with a private guide, and much, much more. It’s clear from conversations we had with Positano residents that Roberta is beloved in the community as well. HIGHLY recommend!!

Martina’s place was amazing! Definitely bigger than in pictures, and the view was awesome! This was the best hospitality. Martina and her dad brought us a bottle of their amazing wine ❤️ they were so kind. Thank you for an amazing stay 😃

If I could review this place more than 5 stars, I would!Everything about this place was amazing! The view from the apartment is stunning, the apartment is was extremely clean , spacious and beautiful and the centre is less than 10 min away walking. Gaetano was waiting for us to assist us with our staff, provided snacks and sweets and a bottle a prosseco.He was very helpful and available for all our requests. If we come back for holidays , we will definitely choose Gaetano's place again and again!

‘Casa Francesca’ and her family were womderful!!! . It was quite a climb but worth it - The views are spectacular and the accommodations are spacious. We went to Casa Mele for dinner three times - very close by and lovely. We also went to Tre Sorelle twice on the Spaggia Grande. Excellent food and wonderful service. Positano is definitely a place you must see at least once. We wholeheartedly recommend Casa Francesca. You will be delighted.
