Family-friendly holiday rentals in Castel di Tusa

We had a great time. The view from the terrace was breathtaking. The road was not as bad as advertised in the reviews. The accommodation, as well as the amenities allowed us to have a pleasant stay.

Very nice accommodation, faithful to reality. Idyllic location with sea view. The pool is well maintained (an employee visits every Saturday, it's quick). A secondary space is also rented above but the two are distinct. The interior that remains quite comfortable is starting to age a little. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

Stayed for 2 nights with our 3 kids. Great place. Definitely a steep windy road to get to it but amazing views once there. Need a car for sure but perfect for 2 days. Hot tub was great. Kids might get bored if we spent longer there. Clearly can't walk to beach etc. But perfect for 2 days and get away from the town etc.

My daughter and son in law stayed with Giuseppina. The apartment was fabulous for all our needs. Situated in the town centre. Great location. Clean and tidy and a lovely host.

Booked at short notice due to a change of plans and Gabriel was very accommodating. The house is large and very well equipped and just what we needed for a few hot days at the end of our Sicily trip - beach and a shady garden. Other reviews mention a narrow drive way and admittedly this was a challenge but worth the effort for this lovely house

My husband and I, with our one year old, had an amazing time at Dario's! His apartment was pristine, so tastefully decorated and perfectly equipped with everything you might need. Location wise - could not be better! We are already discussing when we will return. We could not recommend this more!

This is a real wow of a house. After a pretty full on country lane drive, you’re met with a proper farmhouse with stunning views. You feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere but it’s only a 15 min drive to central Cefalu. We loved having bbq dinners outside and spending time in the tranquility of the house. The welcome goodies were really thoughtful and communication was friendly and helpful. They even supplied a non slip mat for my baby’s bath, really above and beyond.

Roberto’s place is wonderful. Everything was very well cared for, the pool was perfect and there were plenty of areas to relax and enjoy the scenery. We would definitely come back. Thank you

Wonderful - Ideal for a couple. We were greeted by Ileana’s lovely father, Gaetano who made sure we had everything we needed and left a cold bottle of local white wine in the fridge for us. The place is perfect - close enough to everything, yet quiet and peaceful, away from the crowds. The apartment is a really pleasant space to just hang out in too. The June temperatures were divine, and you can make the most of the cool sea breeze with so many windows looking out across different picture postcard views. At night the ceiling fan worked really well and we both slept extremely well in the comfy bed. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

I’m almost at a loss of where to begin with how much my family and I enjoyed Diego’s incredible accommodation and hospitality! As a beach fanatic, this was the perfect location to enjoy a private and gorgeous location on the Mediterranean. No picture can do justice to the jaw-dropping water and the hours I happily spent wandering the coastline. Others have mentioned the generous spread of local treats Diego and his family provided - I can not overstate how helpful and welcome this was throughout our stay. Because of this, we were able to enjoy home cooked meals most nights; not because we were intending to be frugal (we are vacationing after all!), but because the items he provided were just that copious and delicious. The property grounds are lush and pristine, the bedrooms comfortable, clean and well-appointed, and the craftsmanship of the home is gorgeous. Most importantly perhaps, Diego and his family made US feel like family. Responsive, warm & a true taste of hospitality.

Carlo's accommodation was very quiet with a beautiful view of the sea. The check-in with Carlos' mother was very warm and uncomplicated despite language barriers (on both sides). All rooms are super clean and the kitchen is well equipped. Unfortunately, there is no AC for the bedroom(s), which is why it can get very warm in warmer temperatures. The terrace is shared with Carlos' uncle Alfredo, who is only outside for a few minutes a day. Alfredo is good at German, is very likeable and always up for a chat. He was never there overnight. The surroundings are beautiful, but not very touristy, which is why it is recommended to book a rental car and learn a word or two of Italian.

Excellent stay in this very stylish house. We loved the views and had an amazing time next to the swimminpool. We missed a couple of things in the house such as a smart tv with netflix, good wifi and space for groceries in the kitchen. But after our feedback I believe this will be solved immediately for the next guests. I would definitely recommend this place!

Lovely tasteful apartment in a beautiful setting. Apartment is spacious and very well equipped, even better than the pictures. The pool is a really good size with lots of sun beds.

We had a great time staying at the large spacious villa. A real nice view from the terrace on the pool and sea and garden! Very friendly and helpful host Guiseppe. I can really recommend this beautiful villa!

Wonderful, magical place just outside of Cefalu. Green, hily and original charming. The driving is indeed a bit adventorous but also not that bad, once you figured ot out. A barbecue would be a nice Addition. Apart from that all very thougtful and pretty. The Pool area is great as well, we spent a lot of great afternoons there. I guess its especially great in Fall summer when all the green and roofs spent well needed shade 😊

We loved our stay at Marida's and Beppe's place. The little villa's are cozy, comfortable and have all you need. Also for staying with a baby of 11 months old. The garden is beautiful and the pool is the best, with an amazing view. Good to know for young parents, the (non video) baby monitor we took with us reached from our villa to the pool! The location of the stay is a good base to explore several beautiful fishing villages, beaches and of course Palermo. The only downside being that while the closest village is at an okay walking distance, the unpaved road to walk on is not suitable for the average baby stroller. To close off, hosts Marida, Beppe (and Bonbon!) are very friendly and thoughtful hosts. With a very interesting background in science and art, which made our stay even more enjoyable. This is a luxury gem hidden away in a tranquil location. The only minus off season was that most restaurants <30 minutes away were closed (October) otherwise this place is magic, clean, newly refurbished, has all necessary amenities, incredibly private and has excellent hosts and goat farmer neighbors ;)

We had a fabulous week in this peaceful and beautiful location. The house was well equipped and the pool area was very relaxing with stunning views towards Pettineo village and the hills and valley. An ideal place to enjoy the outdoors, there is an outdoor sheltered dining area and BBQ. You can walk into the village from the house where we found a lovely cafe/bar. Visited Palermo, Cefalu and The Valley of the Temples at Agrigento (allow at least 2 and a half hours to get there). You need a car to get about. Be aware of some winding roads and the track to the house and village is rough, but fine once you get used to it. Thank you Francesco, you were the perfect host!
