Our stay was absolutely lovely and was exactly what we hoped for. Everything from check in to checkout was a breeze. Would definitely recommend booking here!

We loved our stay at this property! The layout is perfect for a group of 7 - 8, across the four bedrooms. It’s very open plan which is perfect for socialising but is well laid out so we never felt on top of each other and had plenty of room. The design of the house wraps around the pool which backs onto beautiful trees and really feels like a lush tropical escape. Check in was very easy and Bianca was very responsive with any questions. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking at a weekend away in Port Douglas.

Michaels place was exactly as described. The house is absolutely beautiful and unique. The pool was a perfect way to cool off after the days adventuring and the location is perfect. I would definitely recommend staying at this property. But be sure to pack a heavy duty midge repellent as I was eaten alive.

Absolutely loved our 10 days at ‘Frangipani House’. We’ve stayed at many Airbnb’s & this one beats them all. Think absolute beachfront, amazing ocean views, private, coconut palms, gorgeous decor, heated pool, tropical garden, proximity to both world heritage listed Daintree rainforest & fabulous restaurants in Port Douglas.

The property is exactly as pictured, great house to suit for a large family. The indoor outdoor flow is fantastic for alfresco dining whilst enjoying the large pool. There are so many surrounding restaurants and attractions that are within walking distance which makes it more enjoyable if you don’t want to drive. All the finishing touches ensure you can enjoy a nice meal at home as the kitchen is very well equipped with such ample space. Would highly recommended this house to anyone!

This was our second stay at The Shack, and it will not be our last! We love the whole retro vibe and the peaceful location. A great place for our group of friends when we visit Port Douglas. Scott and Helen are fabulous hosts and communication is excellent. Thanks again!

We couldn’t have been more impressed with this beautiful house. It was exactly what we wanted and everything we needed was available / thought of. The house has so much character but is extremely practical at the same time. It was perfect for us as a group with a small child, as we could stay in the main house and leave the others who didn’t have to get up with the sun in peace while we clanged around in the kitchen. The pool and yard are beautiful and the deck was our favourite place to spend time. We haven’t stayed anywhere where we were so comfortable! The proximity to the beach is a bonus but everywhere in Port is close by so the locations is perfect. We’ll definitely be back!

We had an absolutely fantastic week away at The Bahama house in Port Douglas. The house is stunning and thoughtfully laid out and decorated. It is ideal for families and friends. We relaxed by the pool, visited the sites including four mile beach and spent time at the Great Barrier Reef. We are so grateful to have stayed here and would love to visit in the future again!

Highlight in Cape trib was spending evenings on the balcony unwinding listening to the sounds from the rainforest - such a peaceful retreat and would highly recommend. A well equipped house and seamless check-in. Thanks Karen!

Absolutely stunning home with all the comforts This was the perfect place for my families short visit to Cairns. Perched in the jungle trees overlooking Cairns makes for a convenient and beautiful location. We appreciated being a 5 minute drive from the grocery store and 25 minute drive from Kuranda. Excellent place!

We had a fantastic stay at Rob’s property! The house was peaceful, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. Its location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach and shops, making it incredibly convenient. The hosts were wonderful and always responsive, promptly answering all our questions. Although we encountered a couple of minor issues during our stay, they were resolved quickly and efficiently, which we really appreciated. Overall, this property provided the perfect getaway, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others. Thank you for a great experience!

We just finished up an amazing 1.5 weeks at Renee's beautiful place. We're a family of 4 (2 teenagers, 2 adults) and this house was perfect! We had enough room to spread out but also great common areas to share meals, conversation and games. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking - dishes, many different appliances, pots/pans as well as basic staples like olive oil. The outdoor spaces were lovely; the landscaping is beautiful and the large deck became our favorite place to hang out and watch the river, butterflies and birds. The layout was great for us - two of the bedrooms are connected to the main house via the deck so it gave everyone their own space. We had a chance to go swimming in the river which our kids loved. We arrived to Cairns very early & Renee was gracious enough to allow us to check in early which we appreciated after 28hrs of travel! We would definitely stay here again - we were sorry to leave!

We booked this spot for a quick getaway to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were treated to million dollar views and a spectacular night sky. The host also offered a 5 am yoga session that we signed up for. It was one of the best yoga trainings I've ever had. The house had everything we needed for a short stay. The host gave us beautiful fresh cut flowers from their gardens that we would have taken with us, but we had a full schedule that day. We loved it!

Melissa’s place was everything it said it was! Your own private pool, beautiful views & modern bathrooms. A full size fridge, most appliances & a BBQ to make it feel very homely. We had the place to ourselves & had a nice & relaxing stay. Melissa was lovely, providing lots of information & went above and beyond to make it stress free. Any time we needed to ask a question she was more than helpful & kind. Would thoroughly recommend Melissa’s place to anyone who manages to secure a booking!

We loved our weekend staycation and would definitely stay again. Property was clean, beds comfortable and enough parking for 2 cars The dwelling is far enough away from.the main house to be private. The surrounds are beautiful, great place to take a walk. Even if the weather does change there were board games to keep you entertained and the outdoor deck with large table was a perfect.

The house met all our requirements it was very spacious and very comfortable we absolutely loved our stay there it was in a lovely cul de sac street so was a lovely quiet area we enjoyed the pool and outdoor area spending most of our time there when not out exploring would definitely stay there again 😊

The place was very open in the way of the floor plan and had plenty of room for 2 familys with 3 kids in total, Good yard space and across from a park to keep the kids entertained, the pool was a good addition also. The rooms were large and nicely kept

We had the best weekend in this beautiful house right in the beach. Spending time on the verandah overlooking the water was a dream. The house is beautifully furnished, peaceful and quiet. I could not have loved it more

Very unique to have all the comforts of home, but live open to the elements. Almost like glamping, but better. It feels like exactly where you need to be and how you need to live to experience this special rainforest. Such a privilege.
