It is a landmark, completely renovated: consisting of the first floor, kitchen and living room, an entrance and on the second floor a bathroom with shower and a double bedroom. It has a covered space for bikes and motorcycles.

Charming apartment a stone's throw from the charming Piazza S. Prospero and Fontanesi, located in an elegant historic building on the second floor with elevator. The apartment on two levels, has an equipped open space kitchen, living area with table, sofa and TV. From the internal staircase you can access the upper floor where the bedroom and bathroom with shower are located. Located in ZTL, the nearest parking lot is 400 meters away, supermarket and typical food shops are located right under the house

Vintage house on the hillside

Ancient farmhouse furnished with vintage and Italian design furniture. I like the idea of not throwing things away and adapting them again with a new feature telling the story of those who owned them. The house surrounded by a private garden is full of biodiversity. We are in a beautiful panoramic position with 360° view of the hills and the plain 15 min. drive from Reggio Emilia, 1 hour drive from Bologna, 40 min. from Milan, 2 and 1/2 hours from Rome and 1 hour from Florence (via high speed train).

Good stay for a single night. Ideal for a couple but the bedroom is not fully sealed from main area and you need to go through bedroom to get to bathroom so just a bit tricky if you have a baby sleeping. Nevertheless our host was helpful and accommodating and we were touched to see that there were toys provided for our little one! Balcony was a nice feature! Note: AC is only available starting June 1.

The accommodation was exactly as shown in the ad. Clean and tidy with friendly hosts. Due to problems on the highway, we were late and only arrived at the accommodation at midnight. We were greeted with a smile and were not charged extra for the delay. The accommodation is affordable and I definitely recommend it.

Our stay in Montebabbio was truly a pleasure. Mario really wanted to make us feel like on holidays and was more than willing to share information about the region. He answered all our questions and helped however he could. We traveled with a 5 months old baby so it was great not having to stress about the accomodation. The appartment was clean, tidy and comfortable. The views are beautiful and the place (and the village) is quiet. It's located about 15 minutes drive from Sassuolo and 20 minutes away from a highway so it serves as a good base to visit different places in Emilia-Romagna. If we ever come back to the region it'll be there.

The apartment was exactly as described and had a beautiful view over the old city. It’s perfectly located only 5 mins walk to anywhere in town with lots of lovely restaurants and shops - there was also live music in the square. Reggio Emilia was a short stop for us and was a lovely hidden gem. Miles and his wife welcomed us and were amazingly kind and helpful. The apartment is well appointed, comfortable beds and exactly as described in the listing and spotless throughout. Miles was responsive and helpful at both check-in and out. Would definitely recommend and return if we come back this way again.

The apartment is well renovated, clean and functional. We stayed in 5, one night only to attend an event held in the area and it perfectly met our needs. Manolo lives in the same building and is available if needed.
