Private suite holiday rentals in Cascais

This was one of the loveliest places we have stayed on. The peace of the location with stunning views of the mountains and only the sound of the birds to disturb the peace. It is an animal lovers haven with Joanne's three friendly dogs coming on walks with us and welcoming us home in the evening. While the road is rough we managed fine with a cheap Fiat Panda hire car, just watch out for Google maps taken you on impossible roads. We took the train to Lisbon (an accessible station only 25 minutes drive away). We had a day at stunning beach but most of all we enjoyed relaxing at this beautiful place. Joanne was one of the best and most helpful hosts in every way. We hope to be back! Ruth and Dave

The pool and pool area is completely private which we loved. We had sole use of the pool and made the most of it! Maria Louisa was always on hand if you needed anything but respected our privacy which was so lovely. You can walk down the hill to the train station which goes one stop to Sintra old town or to Lisbon in the other direction. Trains are cheap. It’s a bit of a hill back up to the house from the station or the supermarket which wasn’t a problem for us but worth being aware. The house has a coffee machine and everything you need, although you may wish to bring pool towels. The pool area is set in a beautifully manicured garden and we spend lots of time here as a family. Very simple small two beds and a bathroom. Very close to the airport, perfect for sleeping before an early flight. Recommend earplugs for outside noises like dog barking and rain during the night

Our stay in Alfonso’s apartment was very nice! The location is very close to the airport and local metro so it was very convenient. There are some great restaurants and local shops that made our experience very interesting as we were exploring different areas of Lisbon. The Street is a bit grungy and noisy as it’s a two way major street. But once we got to know the area better it felt safe and was eclectic. We didn’t realise it was a four floor walk up so it was tough as we did not plan our bags accordingly. But otherwise it’s a comfortable sweet little room with nice big bathroom:) Thanks Alfonso for your prompt responses to the problems we had!

The apartment had everything we needed, and within a five-minute drive we enjoyed beachside cafe and pizza place, along with a small local grocery store. The pool was lovely to return to, after day visits to Ericeira and Sintra. Johanna and Ronny were excellent hosts. Would highly recommend!

Very comfortable and calm, with sea views right from the patio, minutes from the beaches. It's not the first time I've stayed here and I always come back! Great host communication and very good location. The only thing that might bother you is the noise of guests in the hall, but other than that it's okay.

We had a fantastic stay, and can't recommend this place enough! Charles, Luci and their lovely family were so welcoming, and they went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The apartment is really cozy, clean, quiet and feels like a perfect getaway from the city. We also loved the village, and enjoyed walking around the area, whether to the stunning nearby beach or the local restaurants. We didn't have a car and were able to get around no problem thanks to the bus stop around the corner. This is easily one of the best airbnb's we've stayed at, and if we ever come back to the region we'll surely be staying here again. Thank you Charles and Luci!

We stayed for one night and really appreciated the convenient location — very close to the airport and well connected to the metro, making it easy to explore the city. We were also able to drop off our luggage early, which was very helpful. Overall, we had a great stay!

This Airbnb is really cute ☺️ exactly as shown in the pictures. The host was warm and accommodating, which made the stay even better. I truly loved my time here. Everything is nearby, and transportation from the location is super convenient.

Not only does this accommodation match the description and photos, but Alva is also a very kind host. The location is extraordinary, facing the sea, which allows you to watch very beautiful sunsets without even having to leave the house. there are all the amenities nearby and a superb beach a few minutes' walk away. Sintra, an exceptional city about 30 minutes' drive away. We had a very pleasant stay and highly recommend Alva's accommodation.

We enjoyed staying with Ana. Comfortable beds, couch and a sparkling clean bathroom. It was close to a few cafes for coffee, sandwiches and pastry. It was about a 20 minute walk to the waterfront restaurants & Aquarium - which was very enjoyable. There are exterior stairs and also stairs up to our room - which were no problem for us. Ana even helped carry our luggage to our room. It was a great place to stay. It was really good to meet Ana and she was really helpful explaining the neighborhood.

Guy and his staff were extremely acomidating. the place was as explained in the ad. the grounds were incredible. the house immaculate. I will stay there again.

Comfortable, clean, well located space.

This is truly a magical peaceful place. I received such a warm welcome from Guy in person. The house is beautiful and spacious. My flat was bigger than expected. Everything was top quality from the furniture, modern new looking kitchen and very spacious bathroom. The common room has a coffee machine with unlimited fresh coffee and treats! The garden is well kept with thick green grass, flowers and fruit trees. The bus stop is outside the gate with buses to both Sintra and Cascais. Highly recommended!

Johanna was in touch well in advance to make sure I could find her place and had no issues. It is a very welcoming place to stay. Ideal for women travelling alone as it's very safe. I'd recommend her place for anyone wanting to enjoy the beaches around Ericeira.
