Holiday rentals with an accessible-height toilet in Cascais

We are locals and rented Mariana's place while we put the finishing touches into our new home which was delayed. Mariana was extremely helpful and understanding with our shifting check in and check out requirements given constant changes with mover and builder schedules. Mariana was so friendly and responsive. She sent us wonderful information to make the most of the area. Since we live here we didn't need it, but anyone coming for a visit will get the best of the best of the local experience. The house was perfect. Great location, great distribution. Great light. The pool was refreshing fun. Everything better than in the pictures and the description. If we ever need to refer anyone to a place to stay in Colares, Mariana's place will be top of the list. Highly recommended....and I have stayed in many Airbnbs all over the world.

My husband and I spent two nights at João's, and our stay was exceptional. The surroundings were gorgeous and peaceful, and the house, itself, was sparkling clean and beautifully decorated. João was incredibly helpful and friendly. Highly recommend and hope to visit again!

We had an incredible stay at Susan's property. The former caretakers house was immaculate. Super clean, super comfortable, and included wonderfol amenities. Susan was the perfect hostess and incredibly generous and caring to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the pool, walking through the fruit trees, and using the BBQ. The property is truly special and we are so grateful we had a chance to stay there and experience it.

Perfect location for a two week stay. Quiet, safe, and peaceful property. 5 min walk to a grocery store and 40 min walk to a beautiful beach. Close to Lisbon via Bolt or Uber. Full kitchen to cook meals, dishwasher, laundry, stocked bathroom amenities. Felt right at home. Ricardo was friendly and responsive. He went above and beyond helping us during the power outage week and even came to check on us. Excellent communication and responsive when we needed help. All amenities were present enough for at least a few days. Bring or plan to buy more if staying for longer. It was our first time in Portugal and we really enjoyed our stay!

We were charmed by the accommodation and the environment. Proximity to the coastline and a vibrant, lively village heart. To get to Lisbon without a car, take the bus for 30 minutes drive and then the metro. Very easy.

Really nice apartment. Clean and comfy. First time I had been away on my own with my son since maternity leave 27 years ago. Cassie very responsive. Lovely apartment right in the centre of Cascais, would recommend to anyone.

I had a delayed flight so arrived later than planned, the host was super helpful and understanding as I kept her updated on arrival. The apartment was clean and matched the photos from the website. Was really impressed. Really helpful host, clean and in a very safe location.

We loved the unit, the surroundings and the atmosphere. The indoor pool, steam and sauna were wonderful complements after a long day of work.

For an American abroad, this place has all the amenities you’d hope for. The air conditioning works perfectly, there is surround sound television, closet space with hangers, great water pressure and no issues going from hot to cold, comfortable beds, and my favorite of all - a blackout blinds feature for every window of the home that can be controlled together or separately. This feature made us feel secure and safe at night. We also loved the location. We were in town for a wedding at Forte Cruz and the home could not have been any closer. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and there are plenty of food options around. Everyone felt safe at night and with no traffic, it only takes 25 minutes to travel to/from Lisbon. The host company is also very good at communicating and helped us arrange our transportation as needed. I’ve stayed in many AirBnBs and this has to be my favorite! I’d come back and recommend this to anyone.

A wonderful stay at the apartment - we really enjoyed our time here. Apart from visiting for the Ironman event, the area and location itself is absolutely stunning. The apartment is huge and we had so much space as a family of 5. Two bathrooms in particular is a nice touch and balconies off the rooms. A lovely building right on the sea front. The concierge are also very friendly and helpful. We did a big Lidl shop and there’s also a nice supermarket nearby. Comfortable beds for a great nights sleep. We had to hire a travel cot which seemed unusual practice and wasn’t cheap (45 euros for 5 nights), but our baby slept really well so that was good. Would recommend Casa de Guia for a walk around and the restaurants, the Marina for a walk the shops and restaurants and also the park to see the turtles and cockerels!

The place is a master class in good design and boutique living . It is in a great location. The general area has lots of great bars and restaurants. There is easy beach access and water related attractions, check out marina snd the excellent live music available I highly recommend this apartment / place.

What a fantastic stay! The ocean view from the window was simply unforgettable — one of the best I’ve ever seen. The apartment is just a short walk to the beach, with plenty of great restaurants and shops right around the corner. The host was super friendly and helpful. The bed was a little squeaky and could use a refresh, but honestly, with that view, it’s easy to overlook. I’d happily stay here again and definitely recommend it to anyone visiting!

This was the perfect “home away from home”, ending our Portugal adventure exactly how we wanted to. A quiet “hide-away”, beautifully furnished and decorated, gorgeous and comfortable patio area… very private! While not in the centre of Lisbon, we were a short ( and inexpensive!) Bolt/Uber drive away from all we wanted to see. And then coming back to our quiet retreat at the end of the day was exactly what worked for us. Lucinda was so extremely helpful and responsive. I highly recommend this lovely spot 😊

A beautiful Villa, very clean and comfortable, had everything thing we needed. The lady on site Maria was very friendly and helpful. Lucinda (owner) was extremely helpful and regularly updated us with any communications. All in all a great peaceful place to stay and not too far from the centre of Lisbon. The owner has put in an amazing sense of love and care put into the place. She's anticipated your every need to make you feel at home. There is plenty of towels, untinsils for cooking, even tea and coffee pods. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My stay here exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend.

Great place and very convenient for metro to get downtown quickly.

The place was impeccable and was exactly as it appeared in the ad. The host sent me all the information I needed for my stay. Yes, it is a bit far from downtown Lisbon and its attractions, but it has parking and Uber is easy and cheap to take to get around.

Not only were we allowed to check in early, Edite was at her place to meet us. She is gracious and delightful and her apartment is even better than pictured — immaculate, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. As a bonus, unlike most Airbnb hosts, she provides luxurious monogrammed bedding, towels, robes, and slippers, plush pillows, and resort quality hand soap and bath gel. She even welcomed us with a bottle of port wine, which we saved for our last night. The apartment is in a very secure building within easy walking distance to two grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants, and museums. On our second day, we walked to the Hilton where we were picked up for a 4-hr tuk tuk tour around the city. The next day, we ventured out on our own and were surprised by how close we were to some of sights on our tour, like the former “red light” district, the umbrellas on Pink Street, and the waterfront. After long days of walking, coming back to the apartment felt like coming home.
