Waterfront holiday rentals in Carvalhal

We had an amazing stay at Susana’s place :-) Though, we didn’t expect to climb up such steep and narrow steps up to the apartment but we managed! Susana was responsive, kind and very helpful. Check-in was a breeze and the location is perfect— right in the middle of bustling street in the heart of Lisbon, made this stay incredibly worth it :-) The apartment itself was beautifully decorated, with gorgeous views out into the sea from the balcony and a humble pantry for cooking. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay when visiting Lisbon…the ferry is a 10 minute walk away with a nice small beach right next to it…the ferry drops you of where all busses ,tram and metro or train lines meet…the apartment is well stocked one of the best we have been in…it is on the third floor without elevator but does have nice wide staircase…the outside patio is real big and offers nice summer breeze …bed is super firm but was ok for us…parking is secure and a bonus…good for smaller cars as it is tight to get in the door…a grocery store five minute walk and a small store right across the street which was nice…it was good to have more than 4of each kitchen utensils and lots of plates and bowls so we could load up dishwasher if needed…there was AC but both units were noisy and could not use at night ….owner was notified and stated he was unaware and would fix…overall would recommend and use again….

Nous avons passé quelques jours dans l’appartement de Nathy qui a une vue magnifique sur l’océan. Le logement est impeccable et très bien décoré . Nathy nous a super bien accueilli à notre arrivée et nous a communiqué toutes les informations nécessaires pour nous permettre de passer un bon séjour. Et aussi, nous avons eu un panier garni de douceur, vin, pain et autres . Je recommande ce logement très bien situé et exceptionnel avec cette vue magnifique sur la mer et à 5 minutes à pied pour aller à la plage.

Notre séjour chez Antonio a été impeccable: hôte très réactif, appartement très propre, bonne literie, quartier sympa (bruyant car nous sommes tombés durant les fêtes de St Antoine mais c'est cela aussi le Portugal :-)), petits restos du coin conseillés, etc. Nous recommandons sans hésiter!

Das Appartmentn befindet sich direkt an der Strandpromenade von Sesimbra und hat einen herrlichen Ausblick aufs Meer. Erreichbarkeit mit dem Auto war sehr gut da eine grosse Garage im Gebäude zur Verfügung steht. Das Appartement ist toll eingerichtet, vollständig und sauber. Da wir nur eine Nacht hier verbrachten (Aufgrund von Verspätungen), hatten wir keine Möglichkeit die Umgebung und Altstadt zu erkunden. Unser Eindruck war jedoch sehr positiv, sodass wir bei einem neuerlichen Besuch hier mehr Zeit einplanen werden. Zu guter letzt war die Kommunikation mit Tiago einfach toll.

The apartment is located inn a great area - Alfama. The hike to get to the unit was tough especially when I went in the wrong direction from the train station, but Pedro was patiently waiting there for us. After our hike to get there, completing the 68 steps to the unit was a breeze. LOL The view is spectacular and saw cruise ships coming and going every day. The unit was clean, comfortable. I had issues with the TV but did not go to Lisbon to watch TV. I was connected to the Wi-FI but not the internet, which was fine as my phone did the work for me and I was not working online. Ann and Rita Have created a special space and were are grateful for the accommodations. They did a tasteful job with the decor. I would definitely recommend the unit to anyone. Great job. Marie's place is in a fantastic location, close to restaurants and cafes and the beach was no more than two minutes' walk away. Despite this perfect location, the accommodation was incredibly quiet. The accommodation is spacious with loads of storage and an exceptionally well appointed kitchen if one wanted to cook although why would you when there are so many great places to eat close by. If we were in Cascais again, would we stay at Marie's place? The answer is a definite yes.

Diogo’s apartment was spacious, comfortable, lovely, and extremely well situated near restaurants, bars, and attractions. Be sure to check out Bar 1868 for drinks and Palacio Chiado for dinner which are right around the corner from Diogo’s place. Diogo was extremely communicative, friendly, and helpful. We loved Lisbon so much and would be honored to get to stay at Diogo’s place again!!!

Que estadia maravilhosa! Nada previa ficar alojada nesta casa incrível, mas em cima da hora e sendo o único espaço disponível, a Cruz aceitou a nossa reserva e foi super atenciosa em tudo. Tudo se alinhou para que me cruzasse com esta casa linda à beira-mar, num sítio calmo e perto de tudo a pé. Fui em família e ficamos maravilhados com tudo, desde a localização à decoração e ainda à generosidade da dona Maria José, que foi quem nos recebeu e entregou a chave da “nossa casa” por 4 dias. Voltarei, certamente. Muito obrigada à Cruz e à Maria José pela hospitalidade e generosidade

We loved our stay at Claudia's during our long weekend trip for the Suncebeat festival. The apartment had everything you could possibly need and we very much enjoyed the bottle of wine left for us. Great location to cross the bridge into the City but then you can head south and enjoy the stunning coast line. highly recommend

We loved our stay at Gonçalo's place. Beautiful, tranquil and chic, the space was the perfect hideaway for our vacation in Comporta. Close to all the beaches, restaurants and everything the area has to offer. The large, lofty and airy space is tastefully decorated with beautiful artwork, lovely furniture and small touches. The large eating and many sitting areas inside and out offered lots of options to lounge, relax, read a book or nap. Notably, Gonçalo is a cool and interesting guy. He gave us insider recommendations for hidden beaches we would have never discovered on our own. A special treat was Gonçalo's assistant Inês who made our stay incredible. She welcomed us warmly, took care of small requests, offered advice on local restaurants, and even hand picked fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden! Thank you Inês for making us feel at home! Highly recommend staying here if your looking for a chic and designer space in Comporta.

Wonderful stay at Sofia‘s place. My daughter and I created some wonderful memories. She was really helpful the entire time we were there, especially with my broken adapter and suggestions for what to do with a limited amount of time. Would like to stay here again someday. Thank you very much Sofia.

We had a wonderful multi-generational family gathering at Lisa's house. The living room and pool area provided a comfortable gathering place enhanced by the beautiful landscaping and convenient location. Lisa was very helpful and accommodating and even sent photos of the baby crib and highchair in advance to reassure us that our 9 month old grandchild would be comfortable. She helped us plan our day trip to Lisbon, provided a chef, and a wonderful babysitter for our last night dinner out. She was super responsive and friendly and made the whole experience easy. The house is very tastefully furnished and the layout is well designed. Having the heated pool was a special treat. The manual for the house was such a helpful resource with links to recommended sites. We appreciated the effort taken to communicate all the information about the house and area in such an organized way. Thank you Lisa and Peter for a wonderful stay at your lovely Comporta home.

Wir waren mit Freunden da und das Haus war perfekt dafür geeignet. Der große Essbereich, die vielen Schlafzimmer und der einmalige Pool mit Blick bis zum Meer haben uns überzeugt. Für besondere Anlässe kann man seit neuestem eine Art Wintergarten dazu mieten, der riesig ist und zum Verweilen im Garten einlädt, auch bei niedrigeren Temperaturen. Die Zufahrt mit einem Camper ist etwas eng, sobald es Gegenverkehr gibt. Wir waren zunächst auch etwas verunsichert, weil es ein Durchfahrts-Verboten Schild für Wohnmobilen gibt. António hat uns dann abgeholt und uns alles gezeigt. Er war jederzeit für Fragen erreichbar und wir durften unseren Camper mit Strom und Wasser befüllen.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa da Falesia. We were welcomed to the house by Renato and his wife. They were extremely helpful, explaining all the house details and giving us advice about the surroundings, places to visit, where to eat (we went 3 times to Tia Rosa) and buy essentials . The house is fully equipped, and even if there is no air conditioning, it kept cool and comfortable the whole stay, even if the temperatures outside were quite high (32C). The beach is three minutes away, by walk, accessible by a stair that goes down an amazing cliff, resembling a star wars scenery. The location was perfect for us, as it allow us to do some birding excursions at the trails of Lagoa de Sto André, and to the bird observation tower at Praia de Melides. It’s also close to Comporta, where you can find some nice designer shops (even if quite expensive), and Troia, where you can find a beautiful beach, where swimming is less challenging. We do hope to return one day.

Extremely nice apartment and well equipped with kitchen and bathroom supplies. Location was 5 minute walk to grocery store and 2 bus stations within 1 minute walk. Balcony was wonderful to enjoy morning and evening. If you enjoy walking, closest beach is 10 minutes away. Thank you for sharing your home. Would book again if i make a return trip!

We had a lovely stay here, the apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. August and Teresa were fantastic hosts making sure we were okay and gave us recommendations. The pool was a real bonus, especially on warm days and when the beaches were busy. It’s also in a great location for exploring the area, with easy access to both Lisbon and Cascais. Would happily recommend!

Great location and balcony had beautiful views of the sunset - very private. The apartment was immaculate and perfect for our short Lisbon stay. Also there is No 28 tram stop at the top of the road! A great place to stay and loads of good restaurants and bars nearby

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Von der Wohnung aus konnten wir sehr viele schöne Orte besuchen und es ist trotzdem sehr ruhig und privat. Das Dorf ist nur 4 Auto Minuten entfernt und auch sehr schön dort etwas zu essen und am Strand die Zeit zu verbringen. Die Gastgeberin versorgte uns mit allen notwendigen und war nicht aufdringlich. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder!

Séjour de 3 nuits dans l'appartement de Pédro et Thérésa très agréable- Conforme aux photos et descriptif de l'annonce- La vue sur le Tage est superbe- Appartement très confortable dans un quartier résidentiel- Le bus pour aller dans le centre de Lisbonne est à 5mns à pieds et le métro est à un peu plus d' 1km- Point positif supplémentaire : l'emplacement de parking en sous-sol

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and it was perfect for us. The space itself was beautiful and thoughtfully decorated. It was spacious, with air conditioning, and had all the amenities we needed. It was a modern apartment that had the charm of an older building. The location was fantastic! In the heart of everything and close to great restaurants, bars, and historical sights. It was nice to constantly see the famous tram 28 going by the area! I would recommend this stay for literally anyone. It’s also accessible by elevator which is nice after many kilometres of walking the city. The host (Andre) was friendly and met us at check in and provided many recommendations! Thanks for the wonderful accommodation

The location is picturesque, safe and vibrant with shops and restaurants, but, like most of Lisbon, hilly so be prepared. We stayed in 6 airbnbs on our trip and Barbara’s was the most comfortable and homey…I could live here. We highly recommend Senhora do Fado across the street for amazing food and authentic live fado music. We would love to return to Barbara’s place.

Die Lage der Wohnung ist zentral, trotzdem ruhig, und wir fühlten uns sofort sehr wohl. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es eine große Vielfalt an guten Restaurants, Bars und Frühstückscafes. Die Kommunikation mit Susu war hervorragend, was sich besonders zeigte, als wir am Freitag Abend um 21h00 ein Problem hatten und sie innerhalb von drei Minuten reagierte. Die Wohnung war gut ausgestattet, sauber, und die Betten waren gemütlich.
