Cabin holiday rentals in Cartago Province

This place was OUTSTANDING 10/10 experience. Would insist on telling anyone I know who visits Costa Rica to stay here. Wonderful having the restaurant just a few steps from our door, and the surroundings were incredible- lots of wildlife sightings just on the property as well as tons of fresh fruit growing. Only down side is yes there are some bugs because you are in the jungle, but if you can get past that, it’s the perfect place to stay.

The place is amazing, my n1 go-to to be in touch with nature. Check-in was smooth and everything was well taken care of.

The host is super responsive and helped us to have a seamless check in!

La cabaña con todas las condiciones y comodidades. Ambiente de paz. Calentadores y cobijas suficientes. Agua caliente. En general fue una experiencia muy agradable. Muy cerca de chespiritos 3.

Es una finca increíble y muy bien cuidada, con anfitriones maravillosos que nos ayudaron a lavar la ropa, nos ofrecieron comida deliciosa y nos apoyaron en todo. ¡La recomendamos totalmente para visitar!

Definitivamente volveré a la mansión !! Un hermoso lugar totalmente equipado y acogedor, un lugar limpio y con todas las comodidades y amenidades en perfecta condición! Un ambiente tranquilo, seguro y pacífico alejado del ruido de la ciudad ❤️

Eine Erfahrung in den Bergen von Costa Rica. Das am höchsten gelegene Dorf in Costa Rica ist nur ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Das Grundstück liegt zwischen 3 Nationalparks. Um zur Unterkunft zu gelangen hat uns Julian herzlich empfangen und zu dem Haus gebracht. Die Aussicht in Schlaf und Wohnzimmer ist unbezahlbar und sucht definitiv seinesgleichen!! Uns hat es extrem gut gefallen. Kann ich jedem, der eine Unterkunft in dieser Höhenlage sucht sehr empfehlen!

What a gorgeous space! The large room was the perfect spot for us to stop during our road trip. The bed was so comfortable and the kitchen has everything we needed. Natalia and Don Miguel were wonderful to deal with. The farm is located in a perfect place in the mountains to see the country, the view was spectacular! We were happy to be travelling in a 4x4, however the road to the farm is mostly paved. There are sign outlining where to go, it was easy to find with the instructions. We would stay again. Thank you so much!

Mon ami et moi avons passé un excellent séjour d’une nuit dans le logement de Fabio. Tout était impeccablement propre, très bien décoré et parfaitement conforme à l’annonce. Les lits était très confortables, ce qui nous a permis de bien nous reposer. J’ai aussi beaucoup apprécié les petites attentions du ou de la propriétaire, ainsi que la réactivité et la gentillesse lors de nos échanges. L’emplacement est idéal, calme tout en étant proche des commodités. Je recommande vivement ce logement et n’hésiterai pas à revenir si l’occasion se présente !

We LOVED staying there. It had awesome views, Fabiola was very responsive, the fireplace was a highlight and the kitchen was well equiped. We explored during the day then came home to a fire, cooked dinner and played games in front of the fire. Will definitely go back!!!

El sonido del río es relajante, los propietarios están construyendo un lugar hermoso con mucho esfuerzo, sin duda va a ser un lugar único, se encuentra a pocos metros del río gato y la entrada al refugio la Marta, el lugar cuenta con senderos y accesos al río y paisajes únicos!

I cannot recommend this place highly enough! This is by far the most well-built and thoughtfully designed accommodation I have stayed in throughout Central America. Every detail speaks to quality—from the solid construction to the immaculate furniture and linens, which feel like new. Nelly is a truly exceptional host—warm, kind, and always willing to help. She not only ensures a comfortable stay but also goes above and beyond, offering assistance in connecting with local resources and even sharing avocados from her farm. The setting is breathtaking, with a pristine mountain stream flowing just behind the cottage. It’s the perfect place to unwind, surrounded by nature’s beauty. The small general stores for basic necessities are just a short walk away, making it convenient yet still wonderfully secluded. The wifi is strong and stable for remote workers. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat to restore yourself or a quiet, inspiring place to work, this is absolute paradise.

La pasamos increíble en la cabaña❤️ El lugar está lindísimo, con una vista que de verdad te deja sin palabras. Todo súper limpio, cómodo y con detalles que se notan. Daniel fue un excelente host, siempre respondió rapidísimo y nos hizo sentir muy bienvenidos. 100% recomendado, ¡volveríamos sin pensarlo!

El lugar es realmente un sueño hecho realidad. Si yo pudiera construirme algo igual, sin duda lo haría. La cabaña (por no decirle casa) es muy acogedora, con una destribución de espacio muy bien penasda y espléndida decoración minimalista (me encantó el Buda y la Ganesha). Un lujo total el balconcito con dos mecedoras, amanecer y tomar café de la zona de los Santos disfrutando de las montañas, el frio matutino y con pajaritos a menos de 10 metros de distancia, siceramente no tiene precio. Volveré si Dios me presta vida.

El lugar es hermoso, bellamente decorado y acogedor, para los que nos gusta cocinar , la cocina está especial para eso. Limpio y seguro.

¡Una excelente experiencia! La relación precio-calidad es muy buena, la cabala estaba impecable y muy linda. El lugar es muy tranquilo y seguro, y aún así cerca de cafeterías y supermercados para cualquier necesidad. Cecilia es muy atenta. ¡Nos encantó el lugar y volveríamos sin dudarlo!

wunderschöner ort! dass es warm wird muss man feuer machen können :-) das holz war ein bisschen feucht, hatten daher lange. aber dann alles geklapt. geniale aussicht, geniales haus!

If you wanna experience some time in a beautiful little cabin in the middle of farm country on the side of a beautiful volcano, this is a place for you. The surroundings are spectacular. The cabin has everything you need and more. We loved it and we will be back.
