Holiday rentals with breakfast in Cartago

My host, David was exceptionally nice, and thoughtful. I felt a kinship with him and he was very knowledgeable about the farm and plantlife. This was one of my favorite air Bnb stays!

A beautiful rustic house overlooking the volcanoes. We had a minor issue with the water and Tomás was quick to take care of it. Other than that our stay was perfect. Do keep in mind the biggest room is downstairs, so not suitable for somebody who has trouble with stairs. But the three rooms in the main area still have enough beds. This would be an awesome place for a big family. Close to Poás and the peace waterfalls. My teenage children all loved it.

Andrés y su familia nos han acogido de manera increíble, atentos siempre, solícitos a cualquier problema que pudiera surgir para solucionarlo de inmediato, Andrés siempre está cerca para solucionarlo todo, sin restarle ni un ápice de intimidad a nuestra estancia. La casa es sencillamente magnífica con un maravilloso jardín muy bien cuidado, con todo lo necesario para todos los quehaceres normales de una casa; cocina, lavar la ropa; todo muy cómodo y muy espacioso, no le falta un detalle a ninguna aspecto de la casa; ropa de cama, toallas, utensilios para cocinar… cualquier cosas que uno necesite, la casa lo tiene. Nosotros fuimos por trabajo y solo podemos decir que el marco para trabajar es incomparable, por lo espacioso del lugar y lo bien situado para acceder a todas las áreas de la Gran Área Metropolitana de San José. Además tiene tiendas y supermercados cerca lo que facilita mucho la logística diaria. Solo podemos recomendar este lugar tan maravilloso y especial y lo único que nos da lástima es no haber tenido más tiempo libre para disfrutar de ese magnífico espacio ideal para recorren Costa Rica y tener un punto de referencia desde donde poder desplazarse por todo el país…. La próxima vez así lo haremos…. Ya que ¿Qué mejor sitio desde donde conocer y recorrer todo el país…? ¡Muchísimas gracias de corazón Andrés y a tu familia!

Nous avons séjourner qu’une nuit car nous etions en transition. Le logement est ok pour le prix demandé. Mais disons que je ne passerais pas des vacances a cet endroit mais cest super pour couper la route entre deux destinations. Lilliam est tres gentille et repond tres rapidement. Les coordonnées données etaient juste et facile à trouver

If you are expecting a 5 star hotel do not go here. If you are expecting an experience, amazing food, no AC, cold showers, no iron or hair dryer and an amazing rural farm experience that you will never forget then this is the place to go. Extremely good, honest, hard working people. They feed you almost everything they grow or raise and give you the same food they eat or feed their kids. Mary Luz is an amazing person and a great cook. Plenty of other options available in the area to get a farm experience but if you also want a foodie experience then this place is it. As everyone has said rough roads but we had a good suv and got there in 20 minutes after we turned off highway 32. For some people it may take 45 minutes. Expect to get woken up with birds and roosters making a racket around 5:30 am.

I had a nice stay at this home. We enjoyed the many places to sit and relax inside and outside the house. Swimming pool was very nice.

This was a great place to stay, we would definitely do it again! The communication process before arrival was good. The caretakers were very friendly and very helpful. The house was huge, luxurious, and had amazing views. All and all our family had a great couple of days at the house. Having said all of that, there were a few cons: -The road to get to the place was horrible, it was muddy with a lot of potholes. -There are chickens in the back yard. Some people might like that, but the rooster would crow in the middle of the night and wake us up. -The house was "surface" cleaned, but it could definitely use a deep clean. The fridge was dirty, there was a lot of dust and dirt under furniture, etc.

this place is a hidden gem. it is very very close to the airport and still in the countryside. the apartment is private and safe located behind a beautiful mansion with a walled garden. orchids and other exotic flora abound on the property. it is a very nice place to simply relax away from the urban frenzy in peace and quiet even if only for one night.

Très bonne prise en charge à l'aéroport par un chauffeur professionnel et sympathique. Il nous a emmené directement aux logements. Sur place Luis nous a donné toutes les indications nécessaires par rapport aux logements. Nous avons été satisfait de notre arrivée à San José.

Federico was so helpful while arriving to San Jose. He made the check-in process effortless, guided me around the building and showed all of the nice amenities. I highly recommend staying here, especially if you’re using the coworking spacing Gracias. It’s very convenient and an excellent location. Beautiful coffee shops and great restaurants within walking distance. I’ll be staying here again in the near future for sure! Thanks Federico!

Un excelente lugar tanto para alojamiento de un día como de una semana, estuve completa la semana y una anfitriona muy amable en todo desde el principio nos indicó todo nos ayudó en situaciones ajenas a su responsabilidad el lugar impecable sobre carretera fácil acceso parqueo propio y un departamento precioso con aire, cumple todo lo que indica y la verdad muy recomendado tanto para aquellos que quieran pasar la noche antes de ir a tortuguero como aquellos que se quieran quedar más, un menú de comidas muy rico con una atención excelente, muy agradecido con doña Ester y espero pronto volver por esos lados muchas gracias por la hospitalidad y excelente trato muy recomendado.

Anudrina's place is immaculately clean, private, and beautifully designed. Check-in and check-out were effortless, making the stay stress-free. Despite being a challenging guest due to delayed flights from both me and my travel companion, Anudrina went above and beyond to find solutions when I couldn’t. I even accidentally set off the smoke detector while microwaving naan, and she reassured me not to worry, handling the situation with grace and understanding. I read most reviews and others noted the noise and view. Construction did take place during working day hours, but it didn't bother me as I was in and out a lot. The view is of the new apartment building, but from the bedroom I lifted the shades and enjoyed the night lit view over the city and the top of the hill what appears to be a volcano. I highly recommend her place and hospitality!

wir nutzten die Unterkunft für die erste Nacht in San Jose nach einem langen Flug. Alles hat problemlos funktioniert. besonders hervorzuheben ist das sehr gute Frühstück! Sehr gerne wieder!!!

I had the pleasure of visiting this place twice, and both times it was absolutely amazing! The property is spotless and well-maintained.I loved relaxing on my veranda and admiring all the gorgeous plants. The sound of the nearby creek was like a soothing melody. It was a truly peaceful experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is traveling to the Grecia area.

Me gustó mucho el lugar, las personas que atienden son muy amables y te dan una cálida bienvenida. El restaurante es delicioso, todo lo que preparan se ve que lo hacen con amor y la comida es muy tradicional. La habitación es bonita, tiene suficientes cobijas y tiene un balcón súper lindo que tiene vista a un jardín.

Such a nice stay in a relaxing environment. Best view into the green mountains, we saw so many birds. Ruth & Andreas were lovely hosts. We can highly recommend.

The host was very helpful and let me check in early. She spoke english well enough that communication was easy and she was very responsive to questions that I had. If you are going to the Basilica which is the main attraction in town the location could not be better. The Basilica is directly across the street and the breakfast area has a good view of it. I could not believe that they served breakfast as a part of this very low priced, very clean and comfortable room. I will book it when I come back! It is also only about a $60 dollar taxi ride to the airport on an uber so its ideal place to spend both the first night or two in country and when exiting.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt bei Nano! Er hat uns direkt herzlich empfangen und das Zimmer ist sehr schön mit eigenem Balkon & Badezimmer im Obergeschoss. Die Küche und das Wohnzimmer konnten wir mitbenutzen. Die Aussicht auf die Berge und ins Tal ist ein Highlight, außerdem ist es sehr ruhig und wir konnten gut abschalten und entspannen. Am Abend hat Nano uns mit viel Liebe ein leckeres Abendessen mit Gemüse und Kräutern aus seinem Garten zubereitet, auf Nachfrage auch vegetarisch:) Wir hatten tolle Gespräche und er hat uns viele Tipps für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung gegeben. Wir behalten Nano als guten Freund und unseren Aufenthalt im Casa Paz als ganz besondere Erinnerung unserer Reise durch Costa Rica!

Great place to stay, close to airport. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Very friendly host, Edwin even offered to drive me to the airport at 4 am! I was there only for one night. The room is spacious with a large and very comfortable bed / mattress. Big bathroom with everything you need. All was meticulously clean, and welcoming. I used the jacuzzi to relax. I would stay here again!
