Cabin holiday rentals in Carroll County

We can’t say enough about how much we loved our stay. The cabin surpassed our expectations in every way! Clean and cozy, well appointed, beautiful natural surroundings, a great front porch and back porch, and even a hot tub! We enjoyed a quiet drink watching the sunset from the back porch and then a quiet morning coffee from the front porch. We travel with our old dog and they had such nice things available for her too. We will be back! So much better than any hotel!

What a wonderful stay! The cabin was clean and felt homey. Rebecca gave us some wonderful recommendations which we utilized and she was super responsive whenever we needed anything at all. Our group enjoyed the hot tub and the relaxing scenery. We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation. Thank you so much! We’ll be back!

Stayed here a few times. Love how remote it is. Hardly have a signal which I love. It’s right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Can walk up and down the road which is nice. Breakfast is always amazing!! Love it!!

Very quiet and peaceful location with farm/country scenery all around. Cabin was cozy and comfortable ... ideal for a couple. The host was very responsive and also informative about nearby points of interest. We enjoyed our stay.

I booked this little cabin for a peaceful weekend getaway, and it was exactly what I needed. Tucked away in the woods, it offered the perfect setting for solitude, reflection, and some much-needed forest bathing. I turned off my phone and just let myself unwind in nature. If you're looking for a quiet, cozy escape to reset and recharge, this is the place.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Doe. The cabin was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and we felt at home. The scenery was breathtaking and it was so peaceful and relaxing there. We enjoyed sitting in the back screened-in porch listening to sounds of nature around us. The amenities were wonderful, too. We highly recommend.

Wildwood Cabin was the perfect place for a quiet getaway. It is the most peaceful and quiet spot! The only things we could hear around us was a quiet distant sound of the river & bird sounds. We found it easily & the accommodations were clean and mostly well equipped. Our only problem was there were 2 can openers in the kitchen, but neither one was working. Everything else we needed was there and worked beautifully. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We loved that the cabin was so close to the New River Trail State Park at Foster Falls. That was a lovely park area & we enjoyed 2 different outings riding our bikes in perfect weather. All of the park rangers and employees, as well as other people visiting the park were friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful visit to this area of Virginia.

We were very happy with this cabin nestled next to a beautiful stream in Southwest Virginia. We were even greeted by five deer our first day. Check in was easy with a keyless front door and directions were clear. The home was comfortable with a large smart TV, a nice king bed (and others we didn’t need) and parking by the front door. The location was convenient…not far from the Blue Ridge Parkway as well as groceries in Hillsville. It was a nice stay that we are happy to recommend.

We stayed here while we waited for our house to close. This was an awesome choice. If you are looking for peace and a feeling of being right at home this is it! Tommy is an extremely gracious host, super responsive to any inquiries and has loads of information on the area and things to do- places to go. You will love his place. It’s a tucked away gem, and there are many good books if you just want to hang out. It’s a very nice place!

The house and surroundings is one of the prettiest places we’ve stayed. For the two of us and dog it was the perfect size. The big tv in the family room was terrific, thank goodness because it rained the whole time we were there so we watched several movies. The screen porch was also a big plus with the rainy weather. I enjoyed the kitchen; I was impressed by how nice and plentiful the pots and pans were. The river view is spectacular.

We loved staying.. wish we could have stayed longer! Everything was cozy and clean and homey!

We had such an amazing time! The cabin is spacious and well-equipped kitchen, breathtaking mountain view’s, a great porch for relaxing. There are a few hiking trail’s within a mile from the cabin that we enjoyed. Bobby, is super communicative, helpful, and friendly. I highly recommend Bobby’s place. Thank you Bobby!!

Perfect quiet getaway.

Thoughtfully designed space, very comfortable with a beautiful and peaceful setting.

It was just my husband that stayed at the cabin and only for one night. He said it was nice and everything looked clean. The only issue was he couldn't get a phone signal at all that night. Rebecca was more than helpful on any issues I had, and I greatly appreciated it!

We stay at Robins place every hunting season!!! Down a dirt road. Sweet little house, great view. Very peaceful, nice neighbors. This was our 3rd year in a row. Can’t wait until next year.

Thank you Deanna, the cabin was just right for our weekend in Fancy Gap, Virginia! Deanna was responsive to all questions, we had to reschedule due to the hurricane last fall & finally stayed mid May, she graciously accommodated our changes. Loved the quaint cabin! Rustic, clean, comfortable, 3 miles from our friends in the KOA campground, we hosted them for breakfast & they hosted us for dinner and campfires. Shopped in Mt Airy at the street festival & enjoyed the Blue Ridge Music Center, both just 30 min drive. We would love to come back…thanks again!

The cabin is located in a beautiful quiet private gate enclosed small community. It is a beautiful peaceful place. The cabin itself is warm and welcoming. Everything was very clean. Beds were comfortable. There is a king, a queen Murphy bed, twin bunks for kids and a single twin. The kitchen is well stocked but lacked salt/pepper, paper towels. The dishwashing detergent (no dishwasher) and hand soaps (bathrooms) were the consistency of water. There is a lovely back porch and deck with ample seating and a charcoal grill. We listened to the whippoorwill at night.
