Beach house holiday rentals in Carova Beach, Currituck County

We had a wonderful time and the accommodations were superb! Our hosts were very responsive and willing to assist at a moments notice. The refrigerator stopped working (not very old) and they sent someone within hours and made sure there was refrigeration until the refrigerator could be replaced! I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here in the future. It was a wonderful experience!

We had a great three night stay, my three adult children and I. The beach was surprisingly almost ours to ourselves. For an older traditional OBX house, it was well updated and very well appointed. The central floor plan is very open. I love it when you can be in the kitchen cooking while talking to everybody in the living area and those around the dinner table at the same time. Awesome view of the ocean off the back deck. We sat in the hot tub and still see the ocean. Im sometimes leary of hot tubs at the beach, a lot of times they are not well maintained. Danielle's was spotless and the water chemistry was perfect and safe. There was absolutely nothing we needed or any place where we needed to go that was not within a 5-minute drive. All of my family are fisherman. if you like to fish, there's not a better place to stay. getting from the house to the beach to surf fish takes less than a minute. we walked up to the OBX Pier several times to fish, probably less than a 5 minute walk.

The house was perfect for our trip. Place was clean place was clean and right on the beach… I agree with others that the kitchen could use a HomeGoods trip( we ended up having to buy a $15 can opener!). But the basics was available, per listing. Areca was a great host and very helpful. Look forward to returning soon!

Laurie was an excellent host! She was very helpful and the place was “as advertised”. For some reason the interior of the place brought back memories of a house on a Greek island (where I grew up). Certainly a place I will look for again when I am at OBX. ps There is a great collection of books and games to keep kids (and adults) occupied!

Jeremy’s place could not have been in a better location. Beach is beautiful and not crowded. Nice area to walk to restaurants and all of Jeremy’s recommendations were spot on. The views could not be beat. The unit accommodated us well. Maria

Our stay at changing tides in the Outer Banks was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning ocean views and the short 30 second walk to the pristine beach. The house itself is a perfect blend of coastal charm and modern comfort, with a fabulous kitchen, hot tub, and very well appointed living spaces. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the thoughtful touches made our vacation effortless and relaxing. The location in Duck was ideal—close to local restaurants, shops, and attractions like iconic duck donuts haha, nearby cute places to eat , yet tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood. The host was incredibly responsive. We will definitely return.

Beautiful, immaculate home! Very high end aesthetic, furniture, fixtures, dish-ware. The location has something to offer for all. The beach was a fairly short walk. The house came equipped with beach chairs, an umbrella, and a buggy to tote your items. I couldn’t have asked for a better environment. It’s a great house for a small group. I actually visited solo with my puppy and enjoyed having all the space.

We had an incredible stay at this stunning 6-bedroom beach house in Corolla! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the attention to detail, beautiful furnishings and thoughtful touches throughout the home. It’s clear the owner truly cares about creating a premium experience for guest - every amenity you could want is here. The location is fantastic! Just a short walk to the beach with breathtaking views from the top deck that made for the perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee or sunset cocktails. The house has so much space for everyone to relax and have fun, whether it was hanging out in the game room, taking a dip in the private pool or jacuzzi or just lounging on one of the many private decks. The layout was ideal for our group and we especially appreciated how well-stocked and well-maintained everything was. This isn’t your average rentL as it feels more like staying in a luxurious, professionally designed vacation home. I would highly recommend this Outer Banks home.

Brittany was an excellent host who responded as soon as possible to any inquires or requests for accommodations. The house was perfect and absolutely stunning. With having a two year old with my family, there were toys there ready to play which made it even better! The view was spectacular and the hot tub was equally amazing. We had some car trouble during when packing our car during check out which made us late for check out time unfortunately and she was very friendly and understanding. The walk to the beach was easy and quick. No complaints at all! Definitely can’t wait to stay again (when the two year old isn’t teething and going through sleep regression lol). 10/10 highly recommend!

This home was absolutely perfect for our family getaway! The location couldn’t have been better, just steps from the beach, which made it so easy for our group to enjoy the ocean any time of day. The views were simply stunning and created such a relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. There was plenty of space for our large group to spread out comfortably, and everything was spotless and very well-maintained. You can tell the home is cared for with a lot of attention to detail. We’re already looking forward to coming back again!

This is the perfect place for a family vacation. Very short walk to the beach (5-10 minutes) with a good bit of shade. Biking/longer walking distance to the Corolla lighthouse and Whalehead home. The backyard is pretty private and we never heard much sound from the neighboring homes. It looks exactly like the listing and has all the listed amenities. Would love to stay here again!

Check in was super easy, the AC was on when we arrived which was great after a long Uber. The pool felt nice and the whole backyard area was fantastic. We ended up using the bikes a lot more than we thought which was a lot of fun. It's a quick bike ride to the boardwalk and walking didn't take too much longer. Bradley was very quick to respond whenever I had a question about anything. If we come back to Virginia Beach we will definitely be checking the availability of this house!

We loved our stay and are already looking to come back this season to enjoy another stay. The only draw back is that we didn't book more nights! This place Our host put together truly helps you relax. Everything you need is either provided for you to use or walking distance ce for the most part. A real no fuss laid back atmosphere that has upscale amenities and a beautiful community located in one of the most gorgeous parts of obx. You won't be dissapointed in your host at this air b&b. You will have more than what you thought you needed plus attentive support from your hosting any questions arise!

We felt very grateful to stay at Gregory’s place. It was a perfect location, very clean and comfortable. We would definitely try to stay here again when visiting the Outer Banks.

These people are wonderful people me and my friend had an amazing time staying at there place! The place is exactly like what you see in the pictures. You will have there downstairs room to there house they will be staying in while you are there. It’s very nice that you have a walkway with access to the backyard gate which is where you’ll find your sliding glass door to your room and bathroom. You also have access to the beach bikes and the canoe which is really nice. Me and my friend brought our Blackstone down and cooked with Brad aka Sammy Hagar , lots of cool stories were shared. I had an amazing stay and I would definitely go back in the future. These people are wonderful host and the have all the suggestions of what to do , where to go

Absolutely loved this beach house — it was everything we hoped for and more. Spotless and well-kept, with plenty of space, including extra rooms that came in handy. The walk to the beach was quick and easy, making it perfect for spontaneous trips to the shore. The house had everything we needed, from kitchen supplies to beach gear, which made the stay super convenient. The hot tub and pool were a major highlight — clean, relaxing, and just what we needed after a day out. And the best surprise? Just a two-minute drive down the street, we got to see wild horses for free. Make sure you guys have an all wheel drive car to see the horses! It felt like a hidden gem. This place is 100% worth it. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

This was such a wonderful experience! The house was beautiful and spacious, and the host is so generous and thoughtful 😊 so thankful for all accommodations and a very helpful/resourceful host. I love the memories our family shared together here. Our family has vacationed in OBX several years, and Kat’s house is a true gem that stands out because we: - Walked quickly to and from the beach. Cars would stop to allow us to cross the street. - Made meals together in our well equipped kitchen. We also dined in nearby local restaurants. - Found quality supplies and equipment in laundry, bathrooms, outdoor shower, and beach closet. - Relaxed in the hot tub. All six of us fit comfortably together! The hot tub was clean, modern, and well maintained. - Soaked in amazing views on the top deck with quality, comfortable seating. - Enjoyed games like Jumanji, Tiki Toss, and Twister during rain. Next time we may try OBX Monopoly. Katherine’s service is best in class because she is proactive, thoughtful, and effective. I didn’t worry about a thing! Our guests ranged from preschool age to retired, and we all valued our stay. We appreciated your comfortable and thoughtful space. Thank you!

I had an amazing stay at RUM-D.C.A! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and located in a quiet neighborhood just s seconds from the beach. The bed was super comfortable, and I appreciated the extra touches and fast Wi-Fi. Dan was very responsive and made check-in a breeze. Highly recommend this Airbnb – I’d absolutely stay here again!

My family stayed 8 nights. Regardless of the time of day or night, the views were breathtaking and so special. The sky and the cloud formations were spectacular. The house layout was thoughtfully done. The tote with extra toilet paper, papertowel, Kleenex, laundry detergent, and garbage bags were a godsend. They provided everything you needed extra beach chairs, 2 large beach umbrellas, boogie boards, a beach cooler etc. The selection of books were a true reader's paradise. The house is located very conveniently to stores, restaurants and the beach! You can run into the house and come back in just a few steps! This house has to be the best house we have stayed in OBX for over 10 years.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sandcastle!! Such a beautiful space, such a great and responsive host! We’re looking forward to next year and hoping the sandcastle will be available!!!

Nice house, good value. Pool and hot tub are great before or after the beach. Kitchen is pretty good, lots of things but minimal organization and lacking high heat on the stove. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and comfortable. Dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other amenities abundant. Great stay!

I LOVED this place and felt right at home. It was very private and clean with lots to do on site. The bed was so comfortable too. There's a clean and heated saltwater pool, gym, and the Salty Rim restaurant right next door. I walked on the beach every morning! The beach was not as crowded as I expected it to be for memorial day weekend. I will recommend Brittany's place to everyone! She was so welcoming and super responsive. Great host!

This was a great little place on the beach for my family. We loved the convenience of being able to go right out back to the beach whenever we wanted to and not having to pack a vehicle for the trip. The house is cozy and had all the amenities we needed( we don’t cook much). The host was very responsive and we appreciated being able to check in early. Can’t wait to come back next year!
