Crazy Horse & Custer traveled this way to Devils Tower. This tipi can comfortably sleep 4 adults. Each tipi has as two burner stove, 3 gallons of water, a pot, coffee fixing things, a propane lantern and a solar lantern. There is no electricity on the property and an outdoor solar shower available if desired. Sleeping places (pad, sheets, blankets and pillows) can be set up for a total fee of $30 for 4 payable on arrival; more available for $10. Please request this when making a reservation.

Hulett is a small town, and everything is within a half mile. This includes the grocery store, two cafes, bank, hardware store, and two bars. There is a fancy steakhouse at the golf course. The town library is just across the street. Devils Tower is about 15 miles away. You can easily visit Mt. Rushmore and the Crazy Horse memorial in a day trip, and come back to a quiet and comfortable evening.

Ken's Place has the most incredible view of Devil's Tower. It is an impressive two story log cabin with lots of space and wonderful outdoor porch to enjoy the view. The bathrooms were really clean with everything you need. Kitchen worked out great. We used the oven to cook frozen pizzas because there are no restaurants around. We were just staying over night to continue our travels. We would stay again.

If you are looking for extraordinary scenery, and a unique stay in a lovely camper trailer, this is the spot! Karla is an amazing host and we loved our stay at her hobby farm. The trailer was stocked with amenities and the bed was very comfortable! We hope to return to this memorable home in the northern Black Hills!

We loved this place! It's cozy, has little extras that were useful when traveling, abundant wildlife right outside the windows, super kid friendly. This checked so many boxes and was so relaxing. Loren was great! Very responsive and friendly. This place is settled at the end of a caldasac in a treed area. Close enough to amenities and yet far enough away to be private and quiet. So many turkeys and deer wandering right in the front and back yard, the kids loved it. kids rooms were great, lots of new books that everyone enjoyed.

This is a beautiful home. It’s welcoming as soon as you walk in. Lots of windows to see the scenery. It’s just like the pictures and even better! I enjoyed sitting on the porch with my coffee and breakfast waiting for the sun to rise over the trees. Then in the evening, we sat on the back deck. What a lovely home!
