Holiday rentals with a pool in Carcavelos

we were a family of 5. The location was perfect for us. Quiet but also not far from everything. Amazing views! The house is charming. It was also nice to have the pool as it got hot.

Nous avons été très gentiment accueillis par Paula et Anselmo, avec un petit verre de porto et des pastei de nata. Le logement est agréable, propre et correctement équipé. La voiture a sa place dans le jardin . On est très proche de tous , magasins (on peut accéder à pied a un grand centre commercial avec plein de boutiques et restos). Les plages sont proches aussi. Location recommandée sans problème☺️

Eine wunderbare Unterkunft in traumhafter Landschaft. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben in dieser tollen Wohnung mit 100 % Erholungswert. Super nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin .

We consider this house to be on another level when it comes to the traditional Airbnb. You are essentially living in a private part of a palatial mountainside with amazing views of the forest , coastline and sunsets. The house is an ancient hermitage that is supremely well kept and the owners’ sophistication shines through. The gardens and terraces are absolutely beautiful and a joy to walk around with ponds, fountains and lovely forest pathways. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need to make delicious meals. Beds are very comfortable and Mariana, the housekeeper, keeps the house spotless and the grounds are very well kept by the gardener. Cristina who owns the property is the most generous host who greeted us with a delicious homemade quiche and other provisions so we did not have to go shopping upon our arrival which was fantastic after a long journey. When visiting Sinatra, this home is such a privilege and will only enhance your stay!

Amazing place, the view is so incredible, we spent a really great time at the villa, it is peaceful, beautiful and private! If I come back to Portugal I would definitely want to come back! Thank you again for everything!

If you want a real local Sintra experience then this is your place. Charming house with a lot of character, charm and history. We were a group of 6 and cooked in for dinner 2 of the three nights. Very close to town center for walking. It’s a very hilly town so if you like walking it’s great for you. Maria could not have been nicer.

The house was like heaven on earth! From the serene surroundings, to the accessible peaceful beach and beautiful interior. Wish I could have stayed longer to be honest! Isabel was a great and responsive host! Will be recommending this stay to all our friends.

Filipa's Alfama Airbnb was truly impeccable. We all agreed that this Airbnb made our vacation. This was our first time in Portugal, and we would come back just for this Airbnb. It was clean, picturesque, centrally located, and made for a relaxing vacation. Our favorite aspects were the location, natural light, and swimming pool. Filipa was responsive, helpful, and kind. I recommend staying here to anyone. We loved staying in the heart of Alfama – the neighborhood was walkable and full of restaurants and sightseeing. Our only feedback was that it was a little difficult to locate on Google Maps upon arrival, but once we remembered the location, it was easier. So absolutely worth it.

Het appartement is compleet en erg schoon. Het zwembad is ook schoon. Alleen jammer dat er geen ligstoelen aanwezig zijn. Wel een ligplaats in het gras. Voor een verblijf voor een stadsreis is het zeker een aanrader. Op loopafstand van de wijk Belem en met de tram in 20 minuten in het centrum. Daar zal je beslist niet zo’n mooi appartement vinden. Ik zal het appartement iedereen aanraden.

Maria was a responsive friendly host and has a beautiful spacious 2 bedroom appartment situated about a 15 min walk downhill to both the Marina & town of Cascais. The walk back up is very manageable unless you have mobility issues but there are scooters you can hire if you wish. It comes with an underground car park space too. Showers and all facilities worked fine and the TV is a Smart TV so you can access Netflix, Youtube etc. We found the Pool area to be lovely but not used much at all. There -are 2 supermarkets nearby -the smaller & closer one (5 mins away opens 8-8pm apart from Sund (8-1pm). Cascais is sublime -sandy clean beaches, great restaurants (try the Marina area too) and friendly people. It has a lovely vibe, If staying here -Sintra is a must (but book Palace beforehand) & Lisbon is worth a visit (1 day is plenty -go by Uber (€15) & return by Train (€5)) . Loads of great golf in the area too.

There were 8 of us that stayed in this accommodation- 4 couples from Ireland that were in Cascais for a wedding. In the run up to our arrival, we were nervous that the accommodation would not be as good as it looked in the photos. However, we need not have been concerned. In fact, it exceeded our expectations. It was without doubt the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. Wonderful facilities, spotlessly clean, spacious rooms. The communication from the host Daniel could not have been better and serves as example for all Air BnB hosts. Daniel kept in regular contact both prior to and during our arrival. He also treated us to a lovely surprise on arrival, and again midway through our stay. I cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough. If you’re thinking of booking it, just do it! We would consider coming back to Cascais just to stay here again! Thanks so much to Daniel!

The apartment is perfect for a visit to Lisbon in the summer. Having access to the pool after the long hilly walks makes it a great place to stay. The apartment was well located to walk for food/drink etc . It is up a hill but so is most of Lisbon. Apartment had everything we needed and Natacha was extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely stay here, the apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. August and Teresa were fantastic hosts making sure we were okay and gave us recommendations. The pool was a real bonus, especially on warm days and when the beaches were busy. It’s also in a great location for exploring the area, with easy access to both Lisbon and Cascais. Would happily recommend!

João and Raquel were great hosts! The apartment was super nice and the checkin and checkout process was easy.

This was a great spot for a first visit to both Cascais & Portugal. Everything was walkable, but peaceful. Downtown Cascais (25 min walk) is pretty, but busy even in late May so (boring that I am) I was glad to be farther away. The winner was the green view from the balcony every morning with coffee. The swing chair was a big hit with the teenage kids. The other winner is the ocean side walk nearby...straight to Cascais or minutes to Giua cafes & restaurants which offer some extraordinary outdoor eating venues ($$). Also Cafe Ophelia nearby was sweet. The green space out back & the pool will no doubt work well for younger kids. Maria was a very friendly & engaged host. Tip: Lidl grocery store is an easy 8 min walk & carries a surprising array of good quality, cheap fresh baked breads & sweet pastries.

Hemos pasado unos días geniales con amigos y niños en casa de Laura. La casa está en un entorno maravilloso lleno de vegetación, los exteriores son preciosos. La casa es como se ve en las fotos, tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unos días perfectos. Es preciosa y muy espaciosa. Nosotros íbamos con 2 bebés y nos dejaron cuna y trona. Nos permitieron hacer el check out un poco más tarde sin problema. Muy recomendable.

Bernardo and Maria's place was a perfect getaway for ours girls trip. It was peaceful and spacious and we could get into the centre of Lisbon easily with Ubers. The pool was amazing and was a big highlight of our stay! Great sized rooms and bathrooms, lovely patio, really suitable for a group holiday, would highly recommend!

Die Vermieter Teresa und Rui sind ausserordentlich freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, gemütlich und nahe aller Sehenswürdigkeiten. Es war sogar eine Grundausstattung an Lebensmitteln vorhanden inklusive Brot, Obst und Pastel de Nata. Wir haben die Zeit und den Luxus sehr genossen und können es nur empfehlen. We had an incredible stay at Susan's property. The former caretakers house was immaculate. Super clean, super comfortable, and included wonderfol amenities. Susan was the perfect hostess and incredibly generous and caring to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the pool, walking through the fruit trees, and using the BBQ. The property is truly special and we are so grateful we had a chance to stay there and experience it.

Wir waren eine Gruppe von 9 Personen (darunter 2 kleinere Kinder, 2 und 5) und haben uns in dem Haus von Ana&Nuno sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist stilvoll eingerichtet und bietet alles, was man für einen Familienurlaub braucht! Besonders die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet! Das gesamte Haus war blitzsauber und auch der Garten, der Pool und die Terrasse waren in einem tadellosen Zustand. Ana war stets zu erreichen und hat immer rasch geantwortet. Das digitale Gästebuch mit den Empfehlungen und Hinweisen war sehr hilfreich und hat uns so manche langwierige Tagesplanung erspart. Vielen Dank liebe Ana und lieber Nuno für diesen wundervollen Aufenthalt in eurem tollen Haus. Wir kommen definitiv zurück!

This place was perfect for what we were looking for. We needed somewhere that could accommodate 9 of us, 6 adults and 3 children under 3. The house itself was beautiful, very tidy and had so much space. The hosts Ana and Nuno had thought of the children and provided us with cots, high chairs, children’s dinnerware, and even things for the children to play with. The swimming pool was gated off as described. The location felt really private and quiet, with beautiful views of the sea. We were able to walk down to the local shops and beach of Praia das Maçãs, so we didn’t need to hire a car. Ana was so friendly and helpful before and during our stay. We had such a lovely time here, and would love to come back one day.

Nuno war unheimlich hilfsbereit, freundlich und immer gut zu erreichen und verbindlich! Das Haus ist sehr grosszügig und schön eingerichtet! Auch war Nuno unheimlich hilfsbereit und unterstützend bzlg. Kleinkinder und hat uns Betten und Hochstühle organisiert! Ohne Auto ist es schwierig, weil man zu Fuß weder gut angeschlossen. Einziges Manko ist die Hellhörigkeit zu den Nachbarn. Vielen Dank Nuno, dass wir Euer Haus nutzen durften!
