we were a family of 5. The location was perfect for us. Quiet but also not far from everything. Amazing views! The house is charming. It was also nice to have the pool as it got hot.

Nous avons été très gentiment accueillis par Paula et Anselmo, avec un petit verre de porto et des pastei de nata. Le logement est agréable, propre et correctement équipé. La voiture a sa place dans le jardin . On est très proche de tous , magasins (on peut accéder à pied a un grand centre commercial avec plein de boutiques et restos). Les plages sont proches aussi. Location recommandée sans problème☺️

We loved our stay at Figueiredo’s place. Perfect for us as a couple, with a private pool and deck to relax on in the evening. Quiet location within easy reach of Cascais, via Uber or a short walk, with its great food options. Communication was easy and everything was as described. Would highly recommend this place is you are looking for somewhere quiet near Cascais.

Wir haben das wunderschöne und sehr gut ausgestattete Ferienhaus mit 8 Personen genutzt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten unseren Aufenthalt genießen. Unser Gastgeber war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und im gut erreichbar, wenn wir eine Frage hatten. Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

We consider this house to be on another level when it comes to the traditional Airbnb. You are essentially living in a private part of a palatial mountainside with amazing views of the forest , coastline and sunsets. The house is an ancient hermitage that is supremely well kept and the owners’ sophistication shines through. The gardens and terraces are absolutely beautiful and a joy to walk around with ponds, fountains and lovely forest pathways. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need to make delicious meals. Beds are very comfortable and Mariana, the housekeeper, keeps the house spotless and the grounds are very well kept by the gardener. Cristina who owns the property is the most generous host who greeted us with a delicious homemade quiche and other provisions so we did not have to go shopping upon our arrival which was fantastic after a long journey. When visiting Sinatra, this home is such a privilege and will only enhance your stay!

Wir waren mit Freunden da und das Haus war perfekt dafür geeignet. Der große Essbereich, die vielen Schlafzimmer und der einmalige Pool mit Blick bis zum Meer haben uns überzeugt. Für besondere Anlässe kann man seit neuestem eine Art Wintergarten dazu mieten, der riesig ist und zum Verweilen im Garten einlädt, auch bei niedrigeren Temperaturen. Die Zufahrt mit einem Camper ist etwas eng, sobald es Gegenverkehr gibt. Wir waren zunächst auch etwas verunsichert, weil es ein Durchfahrts-Verboten Schild für Wohnmobilen gibt. António hat uns dann abgeholt und uns alles gezeigt. Er war jederzeit für Fragen erreichbar und wir durften unseren Camper mit Strom und Wasser befüllen.

Amazing place, the view is so incredible, we spent a really great time at the villa, it is peaceful, beautiful and private! If I come back to Portugal I would definitely want to come back! Thank you again for everything!

We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad in het huis van Dinis. Zeer prettig ontvangst en uistekende communciatie. De ligging van het huis is erg bijzonder met fantastisch uitzicht. We zijn 4 nachten verbleven en hebben genoten van alles wat de omgeving te bieden heeft. We hebben fantastische hikes gemaakt vanuit het huis naar Cabo de Roca. Wel een uitdagende hike met vele hoogtemeters met mooie uitzichten en stranden, zoals Praia da Ursa. Ook een hike naar het noorden naar het strand Paria do Gribeto. Ook een fantastisch strand waar je je even alleen op de wereld voelt. De afdaling naar het strand is wel écht een uitdaging. Heerlijk gegeten bij het restaurant Azenhas do Mar - Piscinas op nog geen 400 meter van het huis. Daarnaast lekkere verse vis gehaald bij de lokale markt en die heerlijk gegrild op de BBQ. Kortom, we hebben mega genoten van de rust, ruimte en alle uitzichten.

We had a wonderful stay! Just a short summary of pros and cons: + Antonio and Maria were great hosts - communication and help was excellent when needed. They brought fresh bread every morning which means less driving to the next town as a guest - fantastic! The house has an amazing view. which is almost unbeatable. The neighborhood is calm with no hotels/noise. - Compared to the fotos it was a bit smaller and older/with signs of normal use than we expected, but of course its sometimes difficult to tell by pictures. Since its southern Europe, be prepared for some insects (has nothing to do with the accommodation but might be helpful to know) - but Antonio and Maria had us prepared with some mosquito repellents and insecticide sprays. The lower bathroom has a strange smell when the drain hasn't been used regulary - but Antonio offered help immediately after we wold him and eventually it improved . All in all a great stay just with some small hints you should know - thank you again!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft, der Balkon war super und hatte eine tolle Aussicht. Die Dusche war sehr groß und ein toller Wasserstrahl. Die Küche hatte auch alles was wir brauchten. Das Bett war für uns beide etwas klein (wir sind 186cm) und etwas hart aber sonst alles super!

Eine wunderbare Unterkunft in traumhafter Landschaft. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben in dieser tollen Wohnung mit 100 % Erholungswert. Super nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin .

It was our best experience with Airbnb by far. Everything was just perfect: amazing views, well equipped kitchen, clean bathroom, powerful shower, comfortable bed. Falling asleep to the sound and smell of the sea felt like the best feeling in the world! The host was super responsive, helpful and provided great recommendations of things to do in the area. Perfect stay. Super responsive host. The pictures don’t do it true justice. Everything you could possibly need especially if you have kids. Fully equipped kitchen with absolutely everything. The shed full of kids toys was amazing for my toddler. Walkable to the beach and some fab restaurants. Lovely bathrooms and modern bathrooms. It is directly opposite the train station so you do hear the train frequently. Didn’t bother us as it’s quite a relaxing sound in my opinion. Overall perfect location to get to Cascais and Lisbon easily. Lovely garden with sun loungers and outdoor seating. Be aware the sprinklers come on every few hours if you’re sat outside. Cute little bbq to. Highly recommend.

Sintra is a magical destination. So many people make it a day trip from Lisbon and, in so doing, miss out on the heart of this community. We were thrilled that Hugo and Laura provided this opportunity for us to more fully explore this amazing place. Their Casa das Rosas is exactly as described, very compact and usable. It takes a little getting used to the arrangement of floors with bedroom and shower on the top floor and bathroom and kitchen two floors below, but it works. Laura and Hugo are most gracious hosts and we received very clear instruction regarding parking, entry, use of space and departure. The welcome gifts were much appreciated as well. Great shower! Well equipped kitchen. We would recommend this place to anyone who is OK with climbing stairs.

We stayed for 2 nights in this place and it was amazing. Perfect location, very close to the beach and great restaurants. Could not ask for more!

This lovely home is ideally situated in the very center of historic Oeiras. Enjoy a beautiful park just outside your door, easy access to the beach, and a delightful array of pastelarias, local shops, and cafés, all within a few mins walking distance. A great choice for those seeking a Portuguese vibe away from the main tourist crowds of Cascais and central Lisbon.

Ich hatte kein Problem mit der Unterkunft.Die netten Hunde empfand ich als prima Begleitung, wenn man allein in einer Unterkunft ist.Alles war super ausgestattet ,und zum Schluss kam auch noch die Waschmaschine, die etwas gefehlt hat. Wer viel Ruhe braucht und gut zu Fuß ist ,fühlt sich in dieser Umgebung sehr wohl. Leider war das Wetter etwas einschränkend und ließ die Nutzung des Barbecuebereichs nicht zu. Ein kleiner Tipp: über der Eingangstür wäre eine kleine Überdachung gut, denn der Regen hat gnadenlos zugeschlagen und man hat die Nässe immer in den Wohnbereich getragen.

I rented this house for my parents when they were in town for a visit -- it's a great space with an amazing view and they loved it. The kitchen and dining area was great to join them for dinner and if we had planned ahead more we definitely would've taken advantage of the bbq grill in the garden!

Probably one of the best airbnbs I have ever stayed at. Patricia was extremely helpful for whatever is needed and very flexible with check in times. Lovely pool and jacuzzi. Overall a fantastic experience

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel, dans un environnement calme, et une magnifique maison qui dispose de tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin. Chaque pièce est aménagée avec beaucoup de goût et tout a été pensé pour anticiper nos besoins. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir

Wir haben 8 Tage in dieser absolut tollen Wohnung verbracht und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich, sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Der Garten mit den Swimmingpool ist sehr schön angelegt. Durch die absolute Ruhe hatte der Urlaub für uns einen hohen Erholungsfaktor. Alles ist gut zu erreichen und man ist in ca. 20 Minuten im Zentrum von Lissabon. Maria ist eine außerordentlich nette Gastgeberin, die uns in allen Dingen sehr hilfreich zur Seite stand. Fazit: Besser geht es nicht - 5 Sterne in allen Beteichen - wir werden sehr gern wiederkommen!! Nochmals vielen Dank für alles an Maria! 🤗

Absolutely loved this villa in Cascais. Such a beautiful area with wonderful views of the golf course from the patio. The villa was beautiful, extremely clean, and had everything to make our stay in Cascais perfect! The villa is in a very quiet area while being just a quick 5 minute ride to the center of Cascais by Uber (about 5 euros). We were so glad we chose this villa as our base for exploring Cascais, Sintra and Lisbon. Edite was the perfect host. She met us at the villa on arrival and shared recommendations for local restaurants, markets and transportation. We felt lucky to have met her! Would absolutely stay here again.
