Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Carcassonne

When you get to Marthomis you will be welcomed by the butterflies, the good smell of lavender and the crowing of the rooster. You can go and pet the horses next door. The calm ,the tranquility of the place and the sound of the stream are perfect for making good naps. The house offers many amenities that are not often found in other vacation rentals. Everything is available which adds a plus. The whole family is delighted with their vacation.

The ideal place to disconnect and recharge your batteries, enjoying the jacuzzi with an unbeatable view of the mountains and listening only to the wind and the song of the birds. Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay at your home, Annie.

We spent 5 very restful days at Michael's. The cottage is comfortable and well-equipped. The view from the terrace to the pool and garden with the mountains as a backdrop is just beautiful. The pool is very large and we enjoyed it every afternoon. Michael was a very thoughtful host (thank you for the delicious scented lavender cake!). He gave us some good tips for sightseeing and the many hikes possible. We really enjoyed the shaded walk along the Candesoubre, with its small waterfalls, and the visit to Minerve (and the excellent Chantovent restaurant!). We'll be back for sure! Thanks, Michael.

We had a fabulous week staying in Carcassonne at Martine's place. The house is amazing - full of personality and individuality. Everywhere we looked in the house we saw something new to see! The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped too. The heated pool was very welcome and the outdoor BBQ area was a bonus. Having a large secure garage was great (as was the table tennis we found in there!) The house is in a great location, within easy walking distance to the old city (approx 30 mins walk) and the Bastide St Louis (10/15 mins walk). Lots of lovely restaurants in both areas. It was an added bonus that we happened to be in Carcassonne during the festival, with lots of free live music to watch in various parts of the city. We would highly recommend Martine's place.

We really appreciated the welcome and the location for walking easily with our little dog. Air conditioning in all rooms is really a necessary comfort because it heats up quickly. We slept extremely well thanks to the quality of the bedding. In short, it was a very good weekend. Thank you for your sympathy 😁

We had a great time in Conilhac. Located in a quiet quarter, the accommodation is impeccable and very well equipped. The pool is very well maintained and allows for pleasant swimming. The garden is a little piece of heaven! Edith and Jan are welcoming and caring hosts, discreet and available whenever needed. We recommend their place without hesitation!

Claire and Peter are extremely welcoming, at the same time discreet, but attentive and responsive to any needs. The location is paradise for those who love the beauty of nature, silence, tranquility and simplicity. Ideal for browsing Cathar sites in all directions. The main room is spacious, comfortable and comfortable to live in. Also, the view from this room and from the adjoining terrace is really splendid. Too bad we came without our guitars, because we learned that Peter was a good guitarist and we could have shared a few notes. We highly recommend this place for all nature lovers. we are a family of 3 and we had a very nice stay! the accommodation is as described! the owners are very nice discreet and present when we need! very good advice on what to visit and do! the pool is very nice with the big heat we had! if I had to put a downside it would be on the size of the fridge! otherwise everything was very good!:)

We have been super well, very comfortable, lots of peace and quiet and a lot of silence. We're back with the 100% charged battery. Ideal for hiking since the surrounding landscapes are very beautiful. The house is perfect for lounging, reading, and also having fun with ping pong and darts. Jo was super responsive, really nice to us. It has been all facilities😍. We were very comfortable, thank you for everything ✨
