Holiday rentals with a pool in Carcans

Staying at Sophie & Bruno’s place was like staying with friends. The location was perfect for us, outside the city but easy access to the tram to get into Bordeaux or by car to the surrounding area. Three great double bedrooms with ensuite rooms, all air conditioned. We had a terrace to sit outside and eat breakfast. Sophie has an amazing address book for restaurants and we ate out very well each night (La Table de Decanteur (local resto with amazing wine), Zephirine, Ressources (both amazing restaurants, easy to reach by tram) and La Cor(o)niche by the Bassin d’Arcachon). There are plenty of local shops in Le Bouscat easily accessible on foot. We will definitely stay with Sophie again if we’re in Bordeaux, it’s nice to be out of the heat of the city. Sophie & Bruno are very welcoming and make you feel very much at home, nothing is too much trouble. I think my favourite Airbnb to date.

We had a wonderful week in the nice cosy House of Stephane. It is very central in Lacanau, so that you can walk to beaches, restaurants, Shops and Cafés. The Pool is fantastic. Frederic was very friendly and always available if you need something. Thank you

We had a great time at Gael's and Anne's house. Very peaceful, we loved the greenery around us. Best of all was the outdoor shower and the pool! There is lot's to do, walking, cycling, swimming, body boarding... Gael and Anne gave us lots of recommendations, which we loved. They are great hosts!

We were there at the end of September, due to the weather unfortunately we could not use the beautiful terrace. For hiking and cycling, the area is great, as there are many cycling and hiking trails. If you want to see the surrounding area, you have to drive a lot. Example Cap Ferret 1 hour 10 min. Bordeaux 40 km, duration approx. 1 hour 15 min.

J was extremely responsive and helpful! He was there when we arrived, showed us around the property, and made wonderful restaurant & activity suggestions. Because we arrived just before a holiday, he was very kind to help us make restaurant reservations for our entire stay; we would not have gotten in otherwise. The property was very centrally located - a short 1/2 block walk to Josie's Coffee shop; around the corner from a bike rental shop, bakery, grocery store, and the Lighthouse. We walked or biked around the town easily. The house was perfect - Cleanliness is super important to me and it was super clean. The house was recently renovated, had modern updates, and was very nicely decorated. The layout was perfect - each bedroom has its own bathroom. And, enjoyed sitting outside in the back yard at the pool in the late afternoon. This was a jewel of an experience for us.

Fantastic hosts, Laurent and Carole could not have done more to make us feel welcome. Amazing welcome package, well appointed kitchen, lovely pool and an abundance of towels. They were very helpful with recommendations and came to say farewell. We would definitely recommend and hope to be back!

The house and kitchen were very clean and extensively equiped with many condiments, cling wrap etc. Constance was very prompt and helpful when needed. Pool was heated which was a bonus. Overall a very pleasant stay.

There were four of us and we had a wonderful stay in Marie-Sarah & Josselin's beautiful house by the sea. The house is very cozy and well laid out. We lacked nothing and were overwhelmed every time we looked out the windows or the porch door. The view of the sea will accompany us for a long time to come. Marie-Sarah & Josselin were very good hosts. Requested insider tips for the area came as a highly professional and beautifully designed PDF. We can only highly recommend the house, the area and the hosts ❤️

Nice appartment directly at the beach and close to restaurants. A very convenient location and there is a car parking available.

I highly recommend this accommodation, which is good value for money. The host is very attentive and responds quickly. Accommodation close to a lot of things, the lake, the beach and the pool with the paddling pool, which is great for young children.

The apartment was clean and nicely decorated. You can sit on the balcony and enjoy the sea. Checking in/out went very smoothly. The apartment complex is right on the beach, restaurants, supermarket etc. are close by within walking distance. We had a nice stay and would recommend it to others.

Great weekend at Mathieu's, the apartment is clean and very well equipped. The building is quiet, secure and you can park your car there. I highly recommend it!

Family holiday, beautiful house and pool perfect and safe for the kids, including pool alarm. House was very peaceful and great time to spend relaxing in the garden, on the deck and in the pool. You need a car to get to the lake and beaches, cycling is possible but steep hills so not easy with kids. Area is amazing and we super glad to have found this great holiday destination with many family friendly activities and restaurants. We will return, especially for the beaches, cycle paths and seafood!

A very nice villa with a lovely pool and garden. All very clean. All rooms were a good size and we had lots of space as a party of 7 adults. Beach is close. Note if arriving late no big shop open after 7:30 and local shop shuts at 8:30pm. One bad point, we had no wifi for our two weeks and communication from local agent on that issue was very poor.

The property was wonderful and we had a fantastic stay. The house was very spacious and had everything we needed. We were very comfortable during our stay for a big wedding just down the road from the property. We were surprised at some extra costs (such as bedsheets, pillows and towels), though it was all explained, it is just not something we would normally see at an Airbnb in Canada. There was lots of good communication with the property manager though. We would highly recommend this vacation property if you are planning to stay in the Biscarrosse area!
