Holiday rentals with lake access in Capital Regional District

This is one of the top Airbnbs that I’ve stayed in. Kitchen is very well equipped , unit is super clean and it felt very homey. I would definitely stay here again. Location is quiet and there is a little lake and walking trail just steps from the suite. Groceries, stores are a few minutes away by car which is convenient. It’s about a half hour to get to downtown. I had a very nice stay and would definitely recommend this place without hesitation. and would definitely

Truly one of the best Airbnbs we've stay in. The house is better than we could have imagined and lake is even closer than what it looks like in the pictures. My five year old son says his favorite thing(s) about the house is: jumping into the lake, the hot tub, the water play, jumping in the lake, the big couch, the showers, and jumping into the lake... Hoping to come back again!

What a lovely place to stay!! I almost didnt want to write this review because (selfishly) I don't want more people finding out about this amazing getaway spot! 600m walk to a private beach with dock access.. View of the lake from the backyard.. What more can you ask for. Would 100% stay here again!

Wow! Beautiful property. Literally a home from home. Everything you could need is at hand. Met, and chatted with Mike, a very approachable guy, who would no doubt solve any issue you may have, not that we had a single one! Would definitely stay again 👍🏻👍🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Absolutely fantastic stay! Gerry was super helpful and incredibly responsive throughout our visit. The place was spotless and exactly as described. He even went above and beyond to help us with our bikes before our race, which made a huge difference. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again — highly recommend!

Lovely weekend away, the place had everything we needed. The outdoor spaces are great, the private dock and fire pit were perfect. Would stay here again!

Tracy and John are fantastic hosts. They have everything you can think of and more within the unit. There were also some other little perks but don't want to ruin the surprise should you choose to stay here which you should. The view / location can't be beat. The lake is a few mins walk away; super clean (rocky so you may want water shoes) and there is a dock to jump off of. Separately, my luggage arrived late and they provided me with extra toiletries which was so thoughtful. They also regularly checked in on the situation which I really appreciated. I hope to be back!

This property is centrally located in Lake Cowichan and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. It was very clean, but the only drawback was the sofabed, it was very uncomfortable. I don’t think it’s meant for an adult. The bed however, was extremely comfortable. The outdoor space is lovely and so picturesque.

Well maintained, updated and comfortable accommodation. Large patio with lots of room and seating. Great view of the lake, easy gentle slope for young ones to navigate. Spacious for 2 people, very comfy bed and sofas. Only disappointment was discovering indoor pool, only open on weekends, until July/August. Would definitely reserve again.

Nice place! Garden was amazing. The suite was very cozy and felt like home. Megan was great with responding to us and communicating. Overall we loved our stay. Two minor things to note is the suite above is also an Airbnb so depending on who’s renting that at the time you might experience some noise especially in the bedroom. Other issue is lots of insects and spiders which comes hand in hand with having a nice garden.

Had an amazing time. Didn’t want to leave and will definitely come back. Highly recommended!!

Enjoy the peace and tranquility this place has to offer. It was so relaxing to stare out at the wonderful bay and see otters play outside on the docks. I will always remember this place and will 100% come back to it. The host is wonderful and responsive and checked in on me various times to make sure we were enjoying our visit. I wish more hosts were like this! Cannot recommend this place any higher!

Lovely stay at Maple Ridge Cottages, cute little cozy space to hangout by the lake. This would be the perfect place in the summer while you can jump into the lake and use the provided water equipment (canoe, paddle-boards) enjoyed the wood burning fireplace at night and cooked our own meals on the BBQ. Only a short driving distance to town.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful lake-side cottage. The place is right on the lake with amazing views. The interior is super cozy, with comfy couches and beds. It's one of those places where you immediately feel at home. Our hosts were incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful. We would love to come again!

Our stay at this cabin was pure heaven! Even though there are a few other cabins on the property, our stay felt very private and quiet. The property is gorgeous and nestled in the trees. All you hear is the sound of the birds. The cabin is immaculate and gorgeous. Everything is well thought out and Leah is gifted at stocking the cabin thoughtfully. The fishing was unbelievable if that is your thing. Highly recommend you stay here. You won’t regret it!

One of my favorite airbnbs that I’ve stayed at! It was a magical weekend! The house was very cute and dainty, perfect for a girls weekend. There were beautiful flowers from her garden all throughout the house. There was also a beautiful barrel sauna overlooking the lake. We would have a sauna session then run into the lake and back into the sauna. Then we finished the day with a romantic pizza dinner with the pizza oven being right in the garden area. The lake had a fun slide and diving board which we took full advantage of and we also walked to the local pub which was only a 15 minute walk. There was a beautiful hike right up the road with a fun swing hanging from a tree at the top. It was the perfect girls weekend and I would definitely book this again!

We had a very peaceful and comfortable stay. We truly appreciated the opportunity for a late check-out, which made things much easier for us. Our son was participating in a regatta on Shawnigan Lake, so staying at Shery’s place was incredibly convenient.
