We really enjoyed our stay here! The pool was perfect for the heat and everything was perfectly clean! The guardian was very helpful as well, and very polite. This would be a place that we would stay again!

Notre séjour à Popenguine était une pépite. J ai adoré l emplacement. C est un village paisible et magnifique. Un véritable endroit où s arrêter si vous voulez découvrir et vivre la vraie vie au Sénégal. Voir les pêcheurs partir le matin et revenir, voir les moutons se faire laver, les enfants jouer au football sur la plage. La vraie vie quotidienne des sénégalais. L emplacement de la maison est exceptionnel. Je ne retrouverais jamais une vue pareil avec une telle proximité avec l océan. Merci 1000 fois au gardien Ablaye qui a toujours été là pour nous et qui pour moi est aujourd'hui un ami ainsi que le chauffeur Ablaye également car ils portent le même prénom qui est quelqu'un d exceptionnel. On en a tellement appris grâce à eux. Merci encore pour votre temps, votre gentillesse et votre partage. Tout était parfait dans la maison également, la propreté et les repas de Khaddi. Merci encore. J espère pouvoir revenir mais cette fois ci avec mes enfants. A bientôt Inchalah 😉

Mon séjour du 23 avril au 5 mai 2025 à été super, magnifique, logement propre, tout était parfait, allant même jusqu’à la piscine, sans compter la réactivité, la gentillesse du gardien qui était là, je pouvais tout lui demander et il faisait tout cette personne est très très très gentille et ça m’a beaucoup touché la description du logement, tout ce qui a été écrit se trouverait ici coin, calme, environnement, parfait on avait tout à côté, je remercie beaucoupl’hôte et surtout le gardien qui a été quelqu’un de magnifique. D’ailleurs je m’apprête à reprendre un autre séjour pour le mois de décembre. Je vais me presser avant qu’on me prenne la place. Merci

On a passé un excellent séjour. La villa est très agreable et sa position en bord de mer est parfaite. La piscine sécurisée est un grand atout quand on est avec des enfants en bas ages. 3 terasses offrent de belles vues et perspectives différentes sur la mer et il y'a une très grand cour arrière ou les enfant ont aimé gambader, en plus du terrain de basket. Les chambres sont comfortables bien que legérement petites. L'hôte, Awa a été super à l'écoute et très facilitante, et le personnel de la maison très gentils et aidant. On y retournera certainement!

Villa Roka was a lovely place to rest and reset after a week exploring the bustling city of Dakar. The caretaker, Tapha, was kind and helpful, and even made my group some traditional Attaya on our first night. The villa is well stocked with all the necessities and all the additional amenities to make things comfortable and convenient. The nearest grocery is a bit of an inconvenience, but there’s a small bar a couple doors down with local dishes and pizzas at decent prices for meals for convenience. The pool and outdoor space were an oasis in the afternoon heat. Thank you Rokhaya and Tapha for a lovely and convenient stay!

Un grand merci à Gina et Claude, ainsi qu'à leur sympathique gardien Sadji, qui nous ont offert un bel accueil dans leur charmante villa. Nous y avons séjourné au calme, dans une maison spacieuse et bien équipée, et les enfants ont pu profiter de la piscine très bien entretenue. Sadji a été à l'écoute et de bon conseil pendant tout notre sejour. Il a pu nous arranger les transferts tardifs à l'aéroport, ainsi qu'une voiture de location qui nous a vraiment facilité les nombreuses visites dans la région. Ce fut un séjour inoubliable et riche en excellents souvenirs. Merci beaucoup !

Joli et agréable villa, la piscine est top, et la terrasse agréable le soir pour prendre un verre ou le matin pour le petit déjeuner, hôte réactif.

Magnifique maison au bord de la plage. Les commerces sont facilement accessibles à pied et on y trouve tout ce qu’il faut! Le jardin, l’intérieur et la piscine créent un environnement parfait pour un moment de détente au calme! Je recommande tout particulièrement et reviendrai avec plaisir.

Ma femme et moi avons passé un séjour exceptionnel chez Ali. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié sa flexibilité, il nous a notamment permis de faire un check-in anticipé, ce qui a grandement facilité notre arrivée. Ali incarne parfaitement l’hospitalité sénégalaise, avec une attention chaleureuse et bienveillante tout au long de notre séjour. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter et recommandons vivement ce logement à tous ceux qui souhaitent découvrir Dakar dans d’excellentes conditions.

nous avons choisi le logement pour sa proximité à l'aéroport, le TER qui dessert jusqu'à Dakar facilement, et la plage à 1 min à pieds. Le logement était propre, joliment décoré avec un espace jardin/piscine reposant. Pape, le gardien et pape le chauffeur ont été très à l'écoute. Je recommande vivement le logement.

Absolutely great place, offering great value for money, and Frederique is super helpful and responsive as well. The garden is gorgeous and huge, and there's a large airy covered terrace as well, making it really great to be with kids. The place is very well put together, modern, clean and stylish. The only slightest downside is that the indoor space is smaller than typical in Senegal, but you'd be crazy to be indoors in this place anyway. Frederique also has great recommendations on restaurants and shops that are near. Definitely one of the most beautiful places we stayed in Senegal!

This is a beautiful villa. It is spacious, light and furnishings are of high quality. The villa is located right on the beach and has a well maintained garden area and pool. It is in a quiet location about a 10minute walk to the nearest boutique. Getting a taxi from here isnt easy so worth having a car for a 10min drive into Popenguine for restaurants. Abdou is very responsive and always willing to help and Ousmane the caretaker who lives on site is amazing. He is very helpful, friendly and discrete. This is a great place to escape to and relax. It works for numberous families and also groups. Very happy with our stay here and have already recommended it to many friends. Thank you Abdou and Ousmane.

Issa is an exceptional host. He took time to personally welcome us and guide us through the apartment, ensuring we were familiar with all the amenities and comfortable in our new surroundings. The apartment is incredibly comfortable, offering a perfect blend of coziness and modern convenience. The master bedroom, situated opposite the street and facing a church, does experience a bit of ambient noise, but the plush bedding and serene decor create such a relaxing atmosphere that the sounds fade into the background. We found ourselves sleeping soundly and waking up refreshed each morning. The living room is spacious and well-appointed, providing an ideal space to unwind. With tasteful furnishings, it quickly became our favorite spot to relax, read, and watch TV. The natural light flooding through the windows added a bright and cheerful ambiance throughout the day. We highly recommend this accommodation to anyone seeking a home-away-from-home experience, and we look forward to returning.

Wow! I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. The pictures do not do this space justice! The apartment is clean and spacious. The interior has been carefully curated and we appreciated that as soon as we stepped into the apartment. The host was extremely responsive, going over and beyond to any requests. For my first trip to Dakar, this apartment really set the standard for me. Please do not hesitate to stay here. Thank you❤️

Incredible stay! First, Ndeye is an extremely communicative and responsive host - was so easy to get in touch to reserve the apartment, and any questions she was quick to respond. The apartment is gorgeous, tons of natural sunlight, a beautiful balcony, clean and spacious living room, and pristine bathroom. The kitchen is well lit and all new appliances, with every cooking supply you could possibly need. Bed is comfortable and I slept very well. Great closet space with a clothes hanging rack too. Plus an enormous full body mirror in the hallway. You’re on the 7th floor in a nice and well known building in Dakar with security and comfort all around. Tons of restaurants, grocery stores, markets nearby, with the Corniche Est just 10 mins away with breathtaking views. Highly recommend and will be back for sure.

Wonderful Place to stay honestly. I loved it. Very cozy apartment extremely clean and luminous with a lot of amenities, comfy bed. I felt like home. What I liked most was how private the appartment is. Residential area, very safe and quiet, close to many places 10mns away from Downtown Dakar 15mns away from Almadies. If you want to rest that’s the right place to stay. Ibrahima is an amazing host, warm and welcoming and always went above and beyond. Every single person in the bulding was nice and welcoming. I was pleasantly surprised.
