The Blue Moon

JamesRating, 5 stars6 months ago
This was a great place to stay. We were hunting elk, leaving early in the morning and returning late in the evening. For us to be able to make our own meals, wash clothes, and relax in the quiet was perfect. Hope to get this place again.

Charming Hill Crest Cottage

LynneRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We decided, last minute, to take a trip to John Day. Carolyn was very responsive and we appreciated her quick communication. The cottage was roomy, cute and comfortable - it was well-stocked and had everything we needed! Quiet neighborhood and close to downtown.

Spray Home-entire, private home waiting for you.

This adorable guest house will bring you back to visiting the home of a beloved grandparent or aunt. Its super cute! Made a very comfortable stay for my family of 3 when we were in town for the rodeo. The farm kittens were a fun bonus!

River front cabin on the John Day River in Spray

RichardRating, 5 stars2 months ago
It's a great place to stay. The town of Spray is just outside the front door, while from the great room or back deck you're right on the bank of the John Day River, with little sign of town and a view miles down the valley! I found the listing a little unclear on bedrooms. There's one generously large bedroom with its own bath. A second bedroom shares a bath with the den which has a pull-out sofa bed (fine for our grandkid, but not up to the standard of the other comfortable beds). We'll stay here again next time we're in eastern Oregon.

Haiku Hollow at Guyon Springs / Weekend Breakfast

KellyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Kerri and family were so friendly and made sure we felt right at home. They gave us a dozen, yummy farm fresh eggs, local honey, and coffee! They provided lots of helpful information and tips about things to do in the area. The property is beautiful, so peaceful, and private! They have put a lot of work into this place to make it work so well. My son enjoyed the friendly animals on the farm, especially the cats and donkeys. Everything was really clean and neat. The bedding was clean and the composting toilet was so much nicer than a vault toilet! They provide you with quite a bit of water for your stay. The wood burning stove kept us toasty at night. If you have kids or a 3rd person in your party I would recommend bringing additional blankets for their bed. The listing says there is a BBQ - be prepared there is a camp stove and a campfire grill. I would recommend bringing: extra plates, cutting board, sharp knife, paper towels, dish towel & rag, lighter, extra wood, insect repellent.

The Avonlea room at Victorian Lane B&B

Dong WendyRating, 5 stars20 months ago
Andrea’s B&B is by far better than that we would expected. The host are very friendly and informative. The place are clean, spacious and comfortable. The home decoration is stylish. Especially the breakfast which is fabulous. We are frequent travelers and have been to 34 countries and stay in many BNB , we would honestly grant Andrew’s one of the top.
