Holiday rentals with a balcony in Canton of Bern

This place was perfect for our family. The location is absolutely stunning. You can sit on the couch or at the dinner table and feel like you’re on the mountain. The apartment was setup really well for our family of 5 and the elevator was much appreciated as we had a stroller. Wengen itself is such a cute town where kids are welcomed and there is breathtaking beauty everywhere.

My family loved this peaceful retreat! Once in a lifetime experience to be admist the alps, cows, hiking, and authentic neighborhood. There was no laundry but a laundry matte by the chess board and tennis court worked well. This listing is only for able bodied guests—lots of walking, hills, paths, and stairs. It was pristine and peaceful. I would have appreciated a fan and more bedding options for lighter weight. Beautiful house and perfect location.

Nearest to Railway Station. Good deal. Open area for kids and game zone gives extra bit while on vacation. View of mountains were spectacular. Nice cosy town. 30mins away from interlaken with good train connectivity. Perfect Apparentment style. Only things is all beds are single and they combine for double. And one room has 2*single beds. Other the. That all cool.

Absolutely loved our stay! The views were breathtaking, even better than we imagined. The space itself was spotless, spacious, and even more beautiful than the photos. Our hosts were polite, welcoming, and very responsive to any questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful view from the apartment! Lots of space and everything was clean. The original message said we would have to pay a deposit in cash but we didn’t end up needing to do it. We were really happy with our stay!

Most beautiful place to stay ever!

Fantastic find right in the heart of Grindelwald. Plenty of space for our family of four. Fantastic, breathtaking views & easy access to restaurants, shopping, grocery store, Grindelwald First & the train station. We really enjoyed starting & ending our day out on the balcony taking in the view & fresh air. The beds & pillows were comfortable. Only downfall was sharing 1 shower amongst the 4 of us but we managed to make it work. There were 3 bathrooms though which was nice.

We loved our stay at Roossihuus. The house felt instantly homely, was spacious and well equipped. The panoramic views of the mountains were absolutely stunning and were a pleasure to wake up to each day! We would definitely stay again :)

What an incredible house - we felt very privileged to stay in such a wonderful traditional house. It was huge! The downstairs was modernised as in the photos but the upstairs had remained very traditional, which we loved. There was everything you could need in the kitchen, with a large Coop about 15 mins walk away (we didn’t have a car). The house has incredible views of the mountains - sitting on the balcony of my bedroom drinking coffee in the morning you have a view of the Jungfrau - it’s incredible. The sheer beauty of the whole place was wonderful and I am so happy that we found this house - rather than have to take 3 hotel rooms for our family. Jeanette our host was very helpful and welcoming and sent us a very useful video and was very responsive with questions we had. I would definitely return to this house if we return to Interlaken.

House and location was amazing - what a view

The cabin is located in a small town with a beautiful environment, it is convenient to go to Inkentra, Lucerne, Longjiang, Spitz, etc. by car for 30-1 hours, you can see the sunrise in the morning and the stars at night.The interior is newly renovated, spotlessly clean, and the furniture is all very new!Will check in to Switzerland in the future.The price is very cheap.

This place felt like a dream! Right in the center of the town, at a walking distance to the train station, restaurants and shops, yet very private and peaceful with spectacular views! The place was perfect with plenty of rooms and bathrooms, a great dining and living room with an adjacent well equipped kitchen. We had everything that we needed! The views are amazing, and you get to have exclusive view of the waterfall without any crowds. We look forward to coming here again and again!

Check in / check out simply organized, kitchen relatively well equipped. House is located a little off the road up the slope. The house is not directly accessible by car (parking but right down the slope). Basically no problem, but for someone with E.G. STROLLERS, it would be tedious to reach. Room rather ringing. Spacious living/dining room.

A nice spacious house, spacious living room. The cottage was so far from the track that you didn't hear the train. The gondola at Oeschinesee runs past the house, but you don't hear it at all. We greatly enjoyed the place, the balcony is ideally located. At the end of the day still wonderful on the balcony in the sun and beautiful mountain views. Definitely a place to come back to.

The location is beautiful, and the home is great for a group. Fair warning on two items: 1) This home is in Wengen and can only be reached by taking the train from Lauterbrunnen, it will get expensive going back and forth between the two towns. 2) You will need to walk up several steep hills (10-15 min uphill walk) to get from the train station in Wengen to get to the home. If you aren’t capable of carrying all of your luggage that distance, you’re going to have a problem. Overall, the house is fine; it was clean, check-in was fine. Lighting wasn’t great in the home, but you’re not going to Lauterbrunnen to sit inside. If you’re relatively fit, tackle the hike from the home up to Kleine Scheidegg, it’s beautiful and a great workout.
