Beautifully located a 2 minute walk from the Rio Genil river and Canales Lake and a 10 minute walk or 5 minute drive from the nice mountain village of Guejar Sierra, the house makes a great base for exploring the highly variable local area at all times of year. 30mins drive to the ski resort or Granada city and 1hrs drive to the beach.

Relax and disconnect in this quiet and elegant accommodation 25km from the foot of the slope, 6km from the center and 10 minutes from the Alhambra, you can walk along a beautiful path along the Genil River, if you like adventure sports you can go paragliding at the foot of Sierra Nevada, if you are a biker you will find routes both by road and by track, you will also have hiking routes to our highest peaks (veleta, Mulhacén...) as well as beautiful via ferratas or climbing.

My little house is located in Valle de Monachil, going up the road about 2 km from the village, High Mountain. It is a sustainable house and independent of the city's energy, which means that we operate with solar panels. We enjoy privileged views of nature. It is essential that you come with your own car. Due to the layout of the house, it is not suitable for people with mobility issues. Heating with a wood stove. Natural pool with cool spring water.

The dream of an Andalusian country house

The biggest draw of the house is its location, with a stunning view of the Sierra Nevada National Park and Canales Reservoir. It is very well connected with downtown Granada and the ski resort of Sierra Nevada, only half an hour driving. About pets, they are allowed but paying a surcharge of €30 for a pet apart from the reservation, check with the hosts.
