Cottage holiday rentals in Canal Latéral de la Garonne

We left at 3 with our 2 and a half year old and had a memorable stay! The owner was very welcoming, the timeless place close to the horses in a green setting! The house is very nice, functional and contains everything you need with a hot tub as a bonus! We went on a horseback ride especially for my son and my wife. The host was ultra flexible and available to accommodate our constraints. She even let us check out later to make it easier for us with our child's pace. Go there without so much as a second thought!

Peaceful place, ideal for resting in peace. We rented a house with a view of a wood, we felt like we were in the middle of nature. The estate is quality, with all amenities for children, ideal for families.

A home from home, the Bastide is filled with an eclectic mix of personal and functional items that immediately allow you to relax. Beautiful and quiet surroundings. The host could not have been more communicative, instructive and friendly. She is relaxed and informative, very welcoming but not at all intrusive. We appreciated all the small touches during our stay and would highly recommend it to others.

Very quiet peaceful night

We really enjoyed our stay here! 4 adults and 3 children aged 10-14. The villa is amazing with everything you could possibly need. It has been renovated to a very high standard which blends the modern and the traditional seamlessly. Beautiful views, quiet location, lovely pool. We really could not fault it. We have hired many villas and apartments over the years and this one is at the top level. All made better by the host (Elodie) responding to any issues almost immediately and the lovely sunshine we had all week! You will not regret booking this property!

Had a great stay at the property while visiting the area for a wedding. Accommodation was extremely comfortable and well presented. Kate went above and beyond for us and answered any queries we had very quickly. Would highly recommend staying at this beautiful property

A wonderful stay, very nice domain with lots of animation, cozy gites, a host who leaves you in freedom but also very accessible and approachable with golden tips but also always interested in how things are really going. we would really recommend it to anyone both families with young children and older children. It is a beautiful area to explore and Anne Sophie, her husband Pascale and daughter Lily are incredibly attentive and sweet. Fantastic to be there!

Beatrice was always very friendly and helpful. We reallyappreciated the delicious homegrown tomatoes and courgettes waiting for us when we arrived. We all loved the swimming pool and our granddaughter particularly enjoyed meeting the dog and the chickens.

Our family of 6 and our dog stayed at Le Fournet Bas for one week. The place looks even better in real life than it did in the photos - rustic charm with modern facilities. The bedrooms worked really well — boys in the twin, girls in the double and we had the “old bread oven” annex. The saltwater pool was delightful, clean and well-maintained. The barbecue area was excellent and well-used throughout our week. We would recommend renting electric bikes from the nearby FatVelo - a great way to spend a morning/day. Also Chateau de Bonaguil is very close and well worth a visit. Nearby St-Martin-le-Redon is a beautiful little village, and Puy L’Évêque is also well worth a visit. Christine and Gérard were very welcoming and helpful and resolved any little questions quickly and without any fuss. All-in-all, a fantastic place to spend a relaxing week.

We are a family of 5 who stayed with Paul for 5 weeks. It was super nice with kids and we had a great time. Mezin is cute little village with a couple of cafes, baker, butcher, pharmacy and a small supermarket. Lots of nice cities to visit in the surrounding area.

We really enjoyed staying at Philippe's place, nicely decorated and in a quiet environment. His instructions were clear and Philippe is very friendly. We'll be happy to go back!

I came here a little by chance looking for calm, serenity, beautiful weather, and a suitable place for dogs. Everything was there. The hosts Carine and Gerri are lovely and very caring. I enjoyed this moment of lounging, enjoying the pool and moments of conviviality with the hosts. Recommended

Had a wonderful few nights in the cottage at Pomero. It was so peaceful and beautifully decorated inside. The garden and surrounds are lovely to wander around and so nice to be able to walk right out to the pool which overlooks vineyards. The shower is great and the bed is super comfortable. Serena and Adrian were very friendly and helpful with great info on things to do in the area. It was lovely being next door to the main chateaux, looking forward to coming back in the future!

We had an amazing time surrounded by nature and enjoying the beautiful house - especially its private pool. The local area is also very nice. Faustine was very attentive and helped making our stay perfect, we’d absolutely recommend this place

Lionel and Charlote are welcoming hosts, the accommodation is exactly what we needed and the environment is very pleasant!

Marcel and Carola’s house was great: tastefully decorated, very spacious, comfortable and with a lovely setting in the Gers, close to beautiful villages like St. Clar, Lectoure, Sarrans, etc… Communication was fluid and easy. Definitely recommended!

Jo and Paul are excellent hosts and couldn't have been more helpful in trying to make our stay a success. They are lovely people running a lovely gîte with everything you need, next to a beautiful pool. Highly recommended.

This was a blissful getaway for a friend and I with our three children, aged 5, 13 and 15. It is remote, so you will certainly need a car (nearest convenience store a 10 min drive) but for a holiday to switch off it is perfect. It feels like a home from home, with a well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Given the location, do bring insect repellent as in the evenings there are lots of mosquitos (but that's just the countryside). All the kids loved the inflatables and we enjoyed the lovely sun loungers and outside dining area. The house is well stocked with games and the tennis court was also used. Well positioned to visit all the local towns (favourites are Vic Fezensac, Condom and Auch for the best Hypermarket) I would stay here again in a heartbeat. If you are scared of wasps, they do live in the stone wall that surround the pool, so will come out on a hot day - although if you leave them alone they are just thirsty and won't sting. Hope to return again if they'd have us!

We had a wonderful week with our 2 children. There is little to do at first sight, but an hour away you have a lot of different activities. Really everything was available in the house with very nice pool and swimming toys! Karine made us feel like home and gave us all the privacy. Definitely recommended.

We absolutely loved staying here. With it’s fantastic pool and ping pong, serene surroundings and kind hosts, Labarde was a perfect stay. Brilliantly located for local towns and villages and tucked away with gorgeous views. The apartment had everything we needed and had plenty of outside seating options. Paul and Anna were always available to help or advise. It was a wonderful holiday! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We enjoyed a week of holiday in Stéphane's house on his estate. What a beautiful and idyllic place; the tranquility, the nature, the space, the scraming animals (chickens, sheep, dog and occasionally the pig), the swimming pool. Not to forget the hospitality of Stéphane himself. A hit!

We had 10 dreamy days at Sonia and Samuel's. They were very welcoming and super attentive to our needs! We were even able to feed the animals with them, which delighted my 9-year-old daughter-in-law (and so were we). The setting is idyllic, the view of the countryside from the pool, the sunset and the stars well visible at night are breathtaking, the calm is very soothing. The house is super cool, which makes a lot of good in the heat. You just have to know that the pool and terrace do not directly overlook the house, it is just opposite crossing a very small street, but it is not very disturbing because there is never a passage:-) The area is sublime, the calm and the landscapes will be greatly missed. We'll be happy to go back!

We were more than pleasantly surprised. The charm of the lodging as well as the surrounding grounds exceeded our expectations. The host was very responsive and great to deal with. We loved our time in this beautiful spot.
