Lovely home and perfect for the four of us. Very close to town and very quiet. Easy access to wonderful restaurants. The check in was great and cannot thank them for also taking my niece to Station as we had to leave before her. Parking is not for feint hearted but good. If you cannot face the reverse then easy to park on road heading out towards station. Would stay again. Thanks

Lucas is a attentive and fantastic host. He provided all the instructions promptly and included video and photo guidance. He was also flexible with our luggage, finding a suitable place for us to store our luggage ahead of our check-in time, so we did not need to carry it with us. The house is stunning and in a perfect location in a quiet area but also easy to get to town by taxi or tram. The house was very clean, beautifully furninshed and feels luxurious! We stayed during a heat wave, and made good use of the relaxing garden and good sized pool. The air conditioning worked well, but could have been a little stronger which may just have been because of how extra hot the weather was. I highly recommend staying at Lucas's house, as it truely was the ideal stay.

Staying at Sophie & Bruno’s place was like staying with friends. The location was perfect for us, outside the city but easy access to the tram to get into Bordeaux or by car to the surrounding area. Three great double bedrooms with ensuite rooms, all air conditioned. We had a terrace to sit outside and eat breakfast. Sophie has an amazing address book for restaurants and we ate out very well each night (La Table de Decanteur (local resto with amazing wine), Zephirine, Ressources (both amazing restaurants, easy to reach by tram) and La Cor(o)niche by the Bassin d’Arcachon). There are plenty of local shops in Le Bouscat easily accessible on foot. We will definitely stay with Sophie again if we’re in Bordeaux, it’s nice to be out of the heat of the city. Sophie & Bruno are very welcoming and make you feel very much at home, nothing is too much trouble. I think my favourite Airbnb to date.

Beautiful setting, peaceful and quiet. Great base to explore the area, but you'll need a car! Rauzan 5 minutes down the road has everything you'll need, bakery, butchers, groceries and pizza restaurant! A great place to relax, would recommend to anyone.

Our party (5 couples) stayed at the property looking for an authentic experience of French food and wine, and hoping for a bit of rustic luxury sprinkled on top and this place did not disappoint. Everyone was blown away by the house's beautiful interiors, exteriors and amazing views. The house had everything we needed (and more). We loved the large outdoor table where we could all sit comfortably for a social breakfast and enjoy the stunning vistas. The location of the house is superb, surrounded by beautiful views and very peaceful. The bike ride to St Emillion took us along quiet country roads, meandering past many exquisite chateaus and vineyards. Finally, special mention to our wonderful host Ellie who couldn't do enough for us. Great recommendations, excellent local knowledge, extremely helpful and thoughtful, super fast to respond to any messages, and really flexible and generous.

Our stay at Remi’s place was beyond expectations. The property is beautiful (even better than photos) & all of the amenities are right where you need them. Our check-in time was flexible & were met at the gate when we arrived. Our room was in pristine condition, the kitchen was beautiful & we loved the little porch area where we could have our morning coffee. And the saltwater pool is amazing; perfect temp & all. We would definitely stay here again in the future & recommend it to anybody looking for a peaceful stay in the beautiful town of Portets.

Château Le Grave is a beautiful property and was a wonderful choice for our group holiday. We had a lovely stay and found the house very comfortable. The photos don’t quite do it justice—it’s even more charming in person. The kitchen is well-equipped, which made cooking for our group easy and enjoyable. There were a few small issues that affected the overall experience. There wasn’t quite enough toilet paper provided for the weekend, the pool area didn’t have lighting at night, and we encountered an electrical issue that we needed to resolve ourselves. I noticed similar mentions in past reviews, so it may be worth addressing these for future guests. Communication with the host could have been more positive. There was some confusion regarding the cleaning fee, which had already been included in the booking total, and we were asked to pay extra for a few broken glasses, which seemed inexpensive to replace. That said, the property itself is truly lovely and we had a great time.

Perfect house! Impeccable cleanliness, more equipped than necessary, there was everything, especially in the kitchen... a joy for the gourmets that we are! Great bedding. Very good baby equipment. Very quiet environment, the view of the vineyards from the kitchen is exotic. Very responsive host, an asset. In short, we will be happy to come back if we pass through the area again.

Delphine was a fantastic host! Being a large group, it’s always hard to find a suitable place but this was perfect. Watersports on our door step, and beautiful sunsets every night. As a host, Delphine was great… always answered my messages and helped when we had a huge storm that stopped the electrics for some hours! Thanks for a memorable stay!

Everything was perfect! The accommodation is very nice and makes you want to stay longer. For our part, we were there just for a wedding but we would have liked to enjoy this place a little more. Thank you for everything Fabienne and see you soon!

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful cottage. It was spacious and the quality of the bedding was a standout. Our family really enjoyed the Scandinavian experience with the sauna and the spa - a must visit for the winter! I stayed here with in a group of 4, and I must say we very much enjoyed our time. Jules was very responsive to all queries, and his house was perfect for our time in Bordeaux. Jules also very accommodating to our requests - he is most definitely a super host! I would recommend Jules' house to anyone looking to stay in Bordeaux for a weekend.

Exceptionally clean accommodation! Quiet, functional and well-equipped. The bedding is comfortable. Beautiful terrace overlooking a green setting where you can, with a little luck, see a squirrel playing in the trees. 20 minutes from Bordeaux, it is appreciable to visit this beautiful city. Thank you so much for an excellent weekend! Perfect location between Bordeaux and Arcachon. Amazing setting with plenty of châteaux around, vineyards, and that otherworldly water tower! The Wi-Fi internet was a bit disappointing - the signal wasn't very strong, so please keep this in mind if it's important to you. The house has almost everything you might need. Private parking right next to the house. Convenient check-in and check-out. Excellent mattresses, pillows, and bedding. Unfortunately, we didn't spot any kangaroos, so we'll have to come back again!
