Gorgeous barn with an incredible under cover pool which was perfect when it rained! Host was brilliant at communicating. The barn is stunning so much space. The hot tub was a great addition as well. Cannot fault it. Perfect weekend away

We had the most peaceful and relaxing Christmas at this property. The grounds are beautiful to explore and the hot tub made it that little bit extra special. Great hosts, with clear instructions and local recommendations too. We will be back!

We had a lovely week in Plantagenet and really cannot recommend it enough; the cottage really exceeded our expectations. The garden is phenomenal. It was a private and tranquil escape and our collie thoroughly enjoyed doing laps of the large garden despite the rainy weather. We loved it from the moment we arrived and didn't want to leave. The cottage is well equipped, has a great cosy ambiance with lots of indoor and outdoor game options no matter what the weather. The communication with Tim&Maite was friendly and responsive, we particularly appreciated the slightly late check out. We are hoping to book again soon with more of our family joining us.

A lovely modern cottage, exactly as described and photographed. It was well kitted out and essentials were provided. The bed was super comfortable but just a gentle note that if you have any mobility issues the apex of the roof means that you cannot stand up straight around the bed and the bed is low but this was not a problem on our stay. Helena and Philip were both really friendly and helpful. My personal favourite touch was when Philip invited me to pick some roses from the cottage garden to take inside. The hot tub was a real treat but please be mindful that you are in someone’s back garden so not completely secluded if they are enjoying their own space. Highly recommend, we would definitely go back.

What a beautiful cottage! Exactly like on the photos, very charming. Surroundings are stunning, hot tub was a treat. The kitchen is very well equipped with anything you might need. Beds were comfortable and cozy. The conservatory was great to just sit and play board games and have lovely meals, was nice and warm and toastie in there and the views!! Pauline’s communication and response times were excellent, very friendly and accommodating. All I would suggest, if possible is perhaps to think of some sort of covers/shelter from the cold/wind by the hot tub. It was very windy and we still wanted to enjoy the hot tub, but it got very cold whilst inside. Some sort of coverings will work a treat. Pauline suggested some great pubs and things to do in the area. All and all my friends and I had a lovely stay. Thanks Pauline!

We came to celebrate my husband's birthday and it is just what we needed. Lovely location, peaceful surroundings, lots to do nearby and the pool and hot tub were an added bonus. Peter and Karen were amazing hosts. They were helpful with recommendations and gave us our own space. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed at Nina's in the Easter holiday with our two younger children. All of us were left enchanted by her beautiful home! we would love to revisit in the near future. The living room and open plan kitchen was perfect for our family. We enjoyed eating our meals with the garden doors wide open. I must say the garden stole the show with it's spacious hot tub! It's situated in such a mesmerising location where you look out to fields. Sheep can be heard constantly- something my three year old absolutely loved! We miss the serenity of the countryside and the beautiful views from the house! Definitely worth a visit! The surrounding areas are simply superb!

Such a tranquil, beautiful setting with views of the rolling countryside and woodland walks on the doorstep. Inside, Little House is akin to a boutique hotel with a standalone roll-top bath and lots of thoughtful touches such as flowers from the garden and local apple juice. I stayed at Little House as part of recovery from a major surgery and couldn’t have asked for anywhere more perfect!

Absolutely gorgeous place. Just like the photos! It was lovely and peaceful sitting outside watching the sheep grazing. Perfect location for day trips to Camber Sands and Rye and Sally was incredibly helpful with giving us recommendations for places to see and eat. A perfect and peaceful weekend with our two children. We spent an absolutely wonderful few days in Charlie's charming cottage. It was very well appointed with lots of little touches and extras to make our stay very comfortable, we were thrilled with the food hamper and all the condiments/cereals/bits and bobs in the kitchen to make cooking stress free. Location wise, it is close to good roads/transport links yet simultaneously feels right in the middle of the countryside, we enjoyed a number of beautiful walks in the local area and it was very convenient for the nearby Champneys. I would highly recommend staying here :) Thanks for having us!

This was our second stay at Judins cottage and another wonderful break in such a special cottage. Sarah always goes the extra mile to provide such a beautiful, clean and comfortable cottage with everything you could possibly need plus a welcome basket including provisions such as fresh eggs and milk. Sarah is a friendly and welcoming host and we will be back to visit again soon.

A well-equipped, cosy, comfortable and peaceful place to stay with stunning views. Everything we needed for a weekend away. Lots of lovely walks from the lodge and lots to do in surrounding towns and villages. We enjoyed a lovely meal at The Plough which was in walking distance. Rye is close by as in the beach at Winchelsea and Camber.

We stayed as a family in Dahlia’s beautiful cottage. It is in the absolute heart of town with everything on your doorstep. Close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Everything we needed was in the cottage. Beds great and lovely linens. The little back garden was perfect for breakfast and an evening drink. We were left a nice bottle of bubbles in the fridge which was a lovely touch. Dahlia is very responsive to messages. We had no problems at all in the cottage. WiFi is great, parking was a bit tricky on the day we arrived but got a little easier House was spotless. No 1 Whitstable did delicious food and The Ship Centurean did a fabulous Sunday roast . We stayed at the annex for one night with our dog and it was perfect. A really cosy space, comfy bed and great for parking the car directly outside. The pub over the road was also lovely for a drink in the evening sunshine. Thank you Alex and Philippa 😊

Was a lovely long weekend away. lynn was very helpful in recommending places to eat and things to do. Was a really nice and cosy cottage which felt very homely. Will definitely be booking here again

We enjoyed our visit to Rye and our stay at Steve's place very much. It was cosy and everything was provided as depicted, even more than that. Conveniently placed a stone throw away from Rye Castle, a very nice Ypres Castle pub and a nice fishmonger. Quiet and lovely back garden. Thank you very much Steve, we loved our stay.

If you’re looking for a cozy, chic, private retreat in the country look no further. We came here in late spring and the serenity we experienced was unparalleled. The glorious gardens and wild foliage, pond and fruit trees coupled with the sound of songbirds in the morning was the best thing to wake up to and explore. Close to Rye and Hastings, with lots of great restaurants nearby you really can’t beat it. Oh and not to mention the log burner in the most cozy little cottage. Would (will) 100% come back here.

We had a lovely stay at The Long Stable. The place is very peaceful and there are good views of the countryside and a nearby reservoir. The amenities are top notch - great tv, fast WiFi and the tumble dryer came in handy too! Andrew was a very nice host and helped us when needed. We would definitely visit again.

We had a wonderful long weekend at the cottage - it was so peaceful, and we absolutely loved walking in the woodland at the back of the house. Such beautiful surroundings and we felt right at home. A great base to go out to Sissinghurst and Bedgebury Forest from. Hope to come back again!

We had a wonderful stay here. Such a beautiful place. We felt welcomed as soon as we arrived. Chris showed as round and was always on hand if we needed anything. We enjoyed the woodland walks and the peace and looking at the beautiful flowers.The property was well maintained and had so much character. Would definitely recommend to others . We wanted a relaxing stay and that's what we had. Thank you so much .

Very comfortable, clean. The bed was so comfy we may well be buying one for ourselves at home!
