Located on Portage Lake in Chassell, MI, near Houghton with quick access to Michigan Tech University, this rustic family cabin is a great place for either an overnight stay or a longer getaway. It provides a great home base for travel in the Keweenaw peninsula! As a 1930s cabin with a sauna on the lake along with a great view, the focus is on the experience! We find guests who truly enjoy our place are flexible with rustic conditions (not looking for Holiday Inn Express) and young at heart!

This studio apartment is lofted above the detached garage with a private entrance. Within walking distance of bars, restaurants, coffeehouses, bakeries, and local ski and snowmobile trails our guest home is a perfect place to explore all the Keweenaw peninsula has to offer. Guests have 24/7 access to the host, when necessary, as I live in the detached main house.

Animal Lovers, this studio is a quiet place to relax, 9miles (13 minutes) from town, after a day of outdoor activities. The space is a charming and quant, tiny 300 sq ft attached space, and offers a full bathroom, a full size bed, and efficiency kitchen with a microwave, hot plate and toaster oven (no stove or oven). This quiet space is located on a small hobby farm with a many social animals. Sip your coffee and watch our sheep graze before you head out on your next adventure

Cozy & Clean Chassell Roadside Cottage

This is a non-smoking studio type cottage with a queen bed and futon. The kitchen has a full-size refrigerator, sink, double burner hotplate, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. Kitchen essentials are provided. Bathroom towels and bedding are also provided. Cottage also has a grill, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and Netflix. (SORRY, NO PETS. NO SMOKING, OR PARTIES ALLOWED. $400 fine) Chassell beach is two blocks away, and hiking trails are 1 block. MTU is a 10 minute drive.

Welcome to a century old mining house! A Very comfortable home with a large double lot. Located in the middle of paradise with Lake Superior not far from us in any direction. Less than a 1/2 mile from the main snowmobile/Atv trail, close to Mont Ripley, Swedetown, Mont Bohemia. We are centrally located between Houghton (20 miles away), Copper Harbor (25 miles away) and Calumet (5 miles). A great value.

My place is located on the west facing shore of the Keweenaw peninsula, and in the summer we get gorgeous sunsets here every night! 5 minutes away from McLains State Park. 7 miles from the airport. Stay in a cozy quiet cabin on the second floor with lots of windows and natural light. In the fall, we get amazing fall colors all around the cabin.

Ski Street House

The Ski Street house is in Calumets Swedetown division. The house is located on ATV, biking, hiking and ski trails for year round recreational fun. The Swedetown ponds and the recreational area are 1/4 mile from the house. Along the trails are apple trees, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries and choke cherries for picking during the summer.
