Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Callantsoog

We had a great week in Grote Keeten! The house was absolutely perfect for a holiday with our dog. The beach is just a stone's throw away and the house is well equipped. We didn't miss anything. Communication with Martina was very smooth and easy. We are very excited and will certainly come back again!

We felt very comfortable and had a very nice few days in Sandy's house. The children loved the playground and the football field right outside the door. In particular, families I can recommend the house. We will be happy to come back.

What a great location on Texel in the beautiful village of Oudeschild. Moderately centrally located, so you are everywhere within 15 min. The cottage was very complete, everything has been thought of. Unfortunately, Agnes herself was on vacation with her family, so we were not able to meet in person, but the communication went very well all week, also from Agnes it was regularly asked how everything went here, very nice!

Very nice, beautiful and spacious stay. Nice and spacious living room, wonderful beds in the bedrooms and everything you need is present! Pine and her husband were very friendly and helpful. The cottage is a fifteen-minute drive from Bergen city center and less than half an hour from the beautiful beach. Nice to visit! Furthermore, you can relax at the cottage.

Mattie’s place is the best in Amsterdam. Clean, cozy, conveniently located and very charming. She gave great recommendations and advice. I can’t thank her enough. She also sent back a necklace I forgot

We had a very nice getaway over Easter. The house was very well maintained and well equipped, with many loving and at the same time useful details. The garden is like a little paradise, very close to nature and beautiful. Thanks for the hospitality in this great house, Anne!

We booked the house because it appealed to us from the reviews. Our expectations were far exceeded. We arrived at a house where we immediately felt at home. In the kitchen there is everything you need for daily use. Everything is very clean and tastefully decorated. Communication with Saskia was possible without any problems. We rented the house with a friendly couple and went home after a week very well recovered. We can recommend the house without hesitation. We would like to come back next autumn. Laura and her husband Arjan were the perfect hosts! Arjan served us breakfast each morning which included a basket of fresh bread, fruits and cheese. Arjan provided us with great recommendations and most especially - showed us how to use the tram system! It is a lovely apartment and they made us feel very welcome.

Do not hesitate to go there! It is the perfect getaway! Everything is well thought, well decorated, we felt so quickly at home and at peace. There are some houses and neighbours around the house but you might only see them when you arrive and leave. The place is private and quiet. The view is exactly like the picture, we spent evenings looking at the sky, the birds, the rabbits and the cows. A great place 😊

We had a wonderful vacation at Peter & Inge's. They are fantastic hosts, starting with the warm welcome where we immediately felt welcome and "at home" to the friendly communication on various issues. The apartment is perfect for a family vacation and we lacked nothing. The location of the apartment invites you to take a walk in the dunes and to the nearby beach. Day trips to Volendam, Alkmaar or Medemblik are also available and are highly recommended. We enjoyed the time in this gem very much and thank Peter & Inge for the warm hospitality. We would be delighted if you would welcome us again as guests.

Beautiful, well-kept apartment in a very quiet location close to the beach. We felt very comfortable in Inge's apartment and will definitely come back. We had our bikes with us and drove great tours from Julianadorp, e.g. by ferry to Texel and to the nice Callantsoog. Alkmaar is definitely worth a visit. As a restaurant tip, we recommend the Nogal Wiedus in Huisduinen, which is very nicely located on the dyke and has very good food. As a beach bar, the Strandpavillon de Stern in Callantsoog. Very nice staff and good food with normal prices. We're already planning for next year...

I can honestly say that this has been the loveliest stay I had in an Airbnb. The place feels like home right away. Sometimes you’ll be welcomed by two lovely very friendly and playful cats when get to the reception. The place is clean, and looks as good as the photos and even better. The best was very comfortable and the bathroom had everything you needed. There’s a wide collection of teas that I really enjoyed as well. Yes there’s no kitchen but I don’t think it’s really needed. The location of the apartment is so perfect. It’s near everything you’d need. There are many nice shops, cafes, bars and restaurants very close by. I’d really consider coming back to Everts place next time I come to Amsterdam.

We had an amazing stay in Amsterdam. Wonderful hosts that thought of everything. Large cocktail ice cubes, filtered water machine, chilled beverages in the frig, instant hot water faucet specifically for hot tea at the kitchen sink, great packet of information about the area, umbrella if needed and more. The flat was extremely clean, well decorated and in a great location to immerse yourself in Amsterdam. I would recommend this flat and would definitely stay again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This apartment was amazing for our quick trip to Amsterdam. The location is perfect—right on one of the main canals and walkable to everything. Helena was such a gracious host and gave us some great recs for vintage shopping, drinks, and eats. The space was well appointed and she was so flexible with our arrival and departure times. I would 100% recommend this place and would stay here again on a future visit.

We had the most wonderful stay. The Garage was perfect for what we needed. It was beautifully done, Sanny and Dennis had thought of everything. It had a lovely feeling to it, was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Check in was really easy. We used the bikes (thank you!) and the location was a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Alkmaar. We would not hesitate to return. Thank you for creating such a cool and beautiful space. The Condominium is in a nice quiet part of Amsterdam, but still easy to get to city centre. Was very clean and comfortable.

Our stay at Monica and Pasqual’s was excellent. The home is exactly what is depicted in the photos. Monica and Pasqual’s communication with us was excellent and when we asked about our bicycles they provided us with a solid lock so we could safely leave them in the front yard. The huge bedroom windows overlook an intersection and I loved sitting in bed with the morning sun streaming in, enjoying my early morning coffee while watching the local people go about life. The location was perfect for us to walk from the train/bus station or cycle to family and friends.

Jessica and her partner were very proactive and we were greeted the minute we parked the car. They live right next door. The apartment was immaculate and the views are stunning. Also good recommendations for nearby restaurants. Thanks for the hospitality.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very walkable neighborhood, close to restaurants, attractions and public transportation. Apartment was right on the canal and had a beautiful view out the front window. The bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

Outstanding stay at Huis Roomolen! Henri & Mel were terrific, kind, and very responsive hosts ~ they assisted us with bike rentals nearby, loads of dining options, and a fully stocked studio for our brief time in Amsterdam. The studio itself is in a beautiful, quaint, and very safe area of the city, just blocks from many canals. The studio was impeccably clean, the terrace is lovely, as are the fish and greenery; and the bonus breakfast goodies made for such a relaxing morning before touring around. We highly recommend and would absolutely return! Thank you again, Mel & Henri, for a fabulous stay!
