We had a wonderful weekend getaway here with my family. The location is perfect and very convenient for us. We’ll definitely stay again the next time we’re in town.

GREAT hosts, super responsive and attentive to our questions and requests. Stocked the place with toiletries and snacks. I kept trying to give this place and its hosts 6 out of 5 stars but the AirBnB app wouldn’t let me 🙄

Overall, we had a great experience! It was just as described. Meredythe was very hospitable and accommodating. I appreciated her making me and my guests feel at home. I really enjoyed kayaking on the beautiful lake. Also the adorable pups were a bonus to our stay ❤️ I would recommend booking it out🙂

Great place - would stay again

Beautiful location, unfortunately it was dark and raining when we arrived but it was still beautiful and comfortable. We would love to visit again someday

This was exactly what I needed while in town because my father had a serious accident. When I would get back from hospital, it was great to walk across the lot to the Eagles Nest to relax, get dinner and drinks to wind down. The views of both sunrise and sunset across the lake were breath taking!!!

Justin’s place was more than what I could of asked for it was beautiful! We felt very at home and comfortable. He made our stay very easy by having dishes, pots, pans, firewood, games etc. We enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to visit again when the warmer weather is here. We had a blast a birthday to remember forsure. Thanks Justin for allowing us into your beautiful home.

My friend and I stayed here so we could attend a couple of concerts in Grand Rapids over the weekend. The weather ended up being a bit cooler than expected, so while we opted to not utilize the lake amenities, I would definitely recommend checking them out. Separate from the amenities and lake, the place was very nice, clean, and quiet. Our hosts were super responsive and easy to communicate with. Even after our stay they helped double check the space for a pair of pants my friend thought he had left. Upon entry there was a binder filled with basic rules and guidelines for respect and efficiency while utilizing different outdoor amenities. This book also included other recommendations such as local restaurants. This was probably the most thorough AirBnB experience I’ve had provided to me in my time using the service and I would highly recommend this location for those looking to do anything really within about 50ish miles of the area.

We were in town for a graduation at Hillsdale College (about 25 minutes away). This house was just the right size for 3 adults and 3 teenagers. It was very clean. The kitchen was well-equipped (I'm always grateful for a real coffee maker and a toaster!). There was plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, etc. The gas grill had a full propane tank. The deck and yard were terrific. We spent as much time as we could out on the deck or the dock or in the yard hammock. The kids enjoyed playing in the sand and water. We also used the kayaks. We didn't have small kids with us, but the house had lots of toys inside and out. It's obvious that the family who own this are here frequently, which makes a difference. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Would absolutely come back again. Thanks for sharing your special place, Michelle!

We thoroughly enjoyed Ryan's property. We were visiting the area to see the Nascar Race which was an easy country drive to the event. This lake house cottage is adorable. The family room was sooo comfortable to watch movies on a big screen TV. We especially enjoyed sitting outside by the firepit. The lake is on the smaller side but it was so peaceful and private! We didn't do any fishing but looks like a perfect place to fish! The house was well equipped and very clean. Do not hesitate to stay at this property.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was fantastic—very responsive and had great communication throughout. The property itself was beautiful, clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed. We were in town for a wedding, and this place made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

Before I rate the place I’d like to thank Jim for being so accommodating for us due to a family situation that came up. He worked with us to find a workable solution . Now, the place—awesome! The four bedrooms were big enough for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked. The bathrooms were updated and pristine. The house had every amenity needed for a great weekend on the water. The lake is large and beautiful and it was great to have access to rent the pontoon. Our only complaint was we only managed to catch three fish all weekend :D Awesome cabin, great stay, amazing host. Thanks, Jim for letting us use the place.

what a beautiful place! The house is nicely done and well equipped. We loved spending a day on the lake with the pontoon. In addition, John and Kevin have two kayaks at the house that we enjoyed using. And we spent our evenings sitting at the fireplace and looking onto the lake. We had the best time here, thanks for this great place!
