Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Calhoun County

The home was perfect in size for our 16 member family. The theater room was so enjoyable. The pool and hot tub were used every day!! We cooked all of our food there, including pudgie pies over the fire. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the necessary items needed for cooking, including a Kitchen aid mixer that we used to make a birthday cake while we were there. The instant hot water was awesome as was the water pressure. The decor in the house and all of the grounds outside were perfect! Lots of places for good photo opportunities! We enjoyed every minute of our stay there and hope to stay there again in the future!!!

A beautiful home right on an inland lake! The view of the water is terrific and on the nice, sunny day during our visit the lake had sailboat and pontoon boat traffic that was pleasant to watch! The home is set up with 3 different sitting areas on the first floor which works amazing if you have a group that wants to visit and maybe another group watching sports or a movie! We all loved the decor of the home as it felt so inviting and relaxing. I would bet during the hot summer days the lake would be amazing to venture out on, whether by kayak or floating around. I also think the view would be beautiful during a snow-covered winter visit. The host was amazing and so responsive with communications. Would highly recommend this location, especially with a larger family or group!

The place was great. Plenty of space. The house is well equipped for large groups to live comfortably.

We enjoyed our stay with Amy-Lyn and hope to return in the fall for another opportunity to counsel at a National Guard retreat in Battle Creek. It took only a few minutes from our retreat to Amy-Lyn's airnbn, so it was very convenient.

I've stayed in quite a few AirBnBs and this was definitely one of, if not the best I've stayed in. The pictures really don't do it justice- the view across the lake was gorgeous and very peaceful. The home itself was beautiful, clean, spacious, and very well stocked for basically any need you might have while there. Lauren met us for the check in and showed us around and was an all around fantastic host. You're also right by many stores and restaurants (which Lauren provided us a detailed list of, very helpful/appreciated) but we mainly spent our time just enjoying the home, hot tub, and lake. There are neighbors on either side and around the lake, but the way the backyard space is set up makes it still feel very private when you're back there. I would definitely love to come back in the future!

This is the third time we've stayed at Lori's place. Our family of 12, coming from Cleveland and Chicago, to spend time on the water and together. The kitchen is nice and big with plenty of cookware for gourmet meals. The 2 mile loop around the lake is quiet and a good route for running. There's lot of space to spread out and enjoy the fresh air.

Cozy and extremely easy to walk to K college, Vine Neighborhood, downtown, etc

We loved the location. Just outside of town so peaceful and relaxing. Lyn was very responsive and answered all of our questions. Would recommend this to anyone in the Mason area.

GREAT hosts, super responsive and attentive to our questions and requests. Stocked the place with toiletries and snacks. I kept trying to give this place and its hosts 6 out of 5 stars but the AirBnB app wouldn’t let me 🙄

It was a great location and a very nice 2 bedroom unit with a lot of attention to detail. Examples are toiletries, spices and coffee that was really nice as we checked in later in day.

We had such a good time at Meredythe’s home. Such a cozy vibe, beautiful lake views and the hot tub and coy pond area was magical. We were given our privacy and we had a great best friend’s retreat. Meredythe and her husband were very kind and responsive. Thanks again!

Probably one of our favorite places we’ve stayed! Our family was in town for my daughter who was competing at nationals for gymnastics. I have a baby, a toddler, tween, and teen and they had something for everyone! The host was EXTREMELY thoughtful and the place felt like home! Pack and play for the baby, books and toys for the toddler, board games for my tween, and coloring for my teen. We LOVED the patio area and spent the mornings there. The view was beautiful and it was so peaceful. Area was plenty big for all of us and my husband had to work remote and there was a desk for him. Loved the kitchen and it was fully loaded. Beds were so comfortable and bathroom spacious.

We had a great stay at Kris' place! The place was even better than we expected. Check-in was very easy and Kris was friendly and responsive. We had plenty of room for 3 adults and were very comfortable in the space. We stayed for almost 3 weeks and never felt cramped. I especially loved that the bathroom space was large and everything felt new and super clean. Plenty of parking space & quiet surroundings. The neighborhood is nice and convenient to shopping and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

Stephanie and Chads place has made what has been a wonderful trip, all the better. A perfect apartment in an idilic setting with wonderful hosts. If we get a chance to come this way again, I'd hope to stay with them again. Stephanie was wonderful, from the 1st point of contact. she was soo helpful, she recommended a route from O'Hare airport in Chicago, to her place in Kalamazoo, which put us at ease. the Apartment had all that we needed. it was warm and comfortable at all times as we had weather was 20c and sunny to -3c and snowing. hot water as you needed and in a setting that was stunning on the outskirts of Kalamazoo but 5 mins from where we needed to be each day. We had a garage for our car. washer and dryer for our clothes two bedrooms with double beds and a large living space and kitchenette they had all we needed for it to feel like a home away from home.

One of my favorite AirBnb visits ever. Country cabin feel with modern conveniences and lux hotel touches, like the decor, toiletries provided, nicely rolled and displayed towels and blankets. We loved having the property to ourselves for solitude and privacy. We loved every attention to detail. Very clean. Peaceful. My favorite things: The beautiful cedar interior; the new kitchen sponge; the room darkening shades; the fun assortment of games; the candy, snacks and ketchup, mustard, and mayo provided; the chain lock on the front door that gave me added peace of mind; the yard games; the swing outside; the fully stocked and prepped fire pit; the walking trail through the forest (it loops around so whichever side you start on brings you back to the yard); the outlets next to the beds; 2 bathrooms; and the second light in the bathroom was nice and bright enough to apply my makeup. Only suggestion would be to provide a bucket or shovel to help put out the fire. Five stars plus!

We stayed at Angela's cabin for our 10-year anniversary, and it was the perfect getaway! While it rained the majority of the trip, we did get to go out onto the lake for a couple of hours on the kayaks! The cabin is just like the pictures, clean, and has everything you could need during your stay! The best part of the stay for us was all the birds! There was an oriole nest right above the deck, herons fishing on the sand right in front of us, a sighting of a belted kingfisher, and so many more birds! We enjoyed the electric fireplace and games at night, we ordered pizza from Burkhart's pizza and it was delicious!! Overall the cabin is a perfect getaway!

Todd's cabin was wonderful for a weekend getaway!

The lake house was wonderful. I didn't use any of the lake amenities, but just getting to look out the window to see the water was nice. My stay was very comfortable.

Great place for my crew to relax after long work days.

We had an amazing time! We brought our own poles, but there some provided. Fishing was awesome right off the dock! Big yard for yard games, did not get on the water because of the wind but kayaks and a fishing boat were available. A great little shallow area perfect for littles to play, and we plan on coming back with some. Inside the cabin was beautiful, we love the rustic, cozy feel, although you want for nothing. So many extras provided. The hosts were available to answer any questions promptly. We will definitely book again!

This place was just what we needed for the long weekend. Holly was great and her land was absolutely beautiful. If you’re looking for a camp like experience without having to sleep outdoors this is the perfect place!

Mary was a very nice and gracious host. She was very responsive, provided all items needed at the bnb and even gave us recommendations that we followed up on. The cabin is beautiful and fit 5 adults perfectly. You could easily add a couple more people if needed. We all had plenty of space. Absolutely stunning location- peaceful and beautiful. There is minimal phone/internet service-just a heads up. However, my group found that this allowed for less phone distraction, adding to the peacefulness of the weekend. Fabulous place!
