Amazing stay for a group. There is so much to do on the property that you never have to leave. Some of the house is dated but take a look at the family photos inside and the nostalgia will hit you like a ton of bricks. We all said that it made us feel like we were at our grandmothers and made us feel right at home. Our group LOVED this place. We will definitely be back!

We had a fantabulous stay at Luis' home! We were in town for a concert, and that is one of the only times we left the house... other than to get food. Speaking of food -- ask Luis for restaurant recommendations. He knows what he's talking about. The pool is an absolute dream. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

My friends & I recently spent a weekend at this beautiful home in the bayou, and it was exactly the escape I needed. From the moment we arrived, the peaceful atmosphere and stunning views instantly set the tone for a relaxing retreat. The house itself was cozy yet spacious, with a rustic charm that made it feel like home. Large windows offered gorgeous views of the water, especially during sunrise and sunset. The breakfast area overlooking the bayou instantly became our favorite spot for morning coffee and evening drinks. We spent most of our time outdoors—fishing, chatting with friends, having drinks/Momosas and just lounging around. At night, we grilled dinner, sat around in the “boom-boom room” as my husband calls it and watched the stars. It felt like time slowed down in the best way. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful, providing everything from extra towels to board games and local recommendations. Every detail was well taken care of, making the who stay extremely comfortable.

Easy access to what Lake Charles has to offer. Great backyard setting to hang out with family or friends. Big kitchen and living room.

Amazing place for a quiet peaceful relaxing stay - tons of space - ice cold a/c - amazing stove/kitchen - awesome views from every room - tons of outside seating - pool was crystal clean - & fishing was 10/10 - just book it you wont regret it! Cant wait to go back soon!

My fiancé came here for his bachelor party. We picked the Airbnb because of it’s relatively close proximity to gambling at the casinos, and obviously for the wonderful outdoor space. The house was exactly as described and beautifully well kept! By far the best part about our trip was the host, Mr. Chris. We had a “hiccup” that was caused by someone in our group and Chris was very understanding about the whole ordeal. Overall, we would 100% recommend Chris and his beautiful home next time you are in Lake Charles! Great stay! Terrific price!

The house was a neat older house that had been updated enough to be very livable but still have charm. We experienced a couple of old house quirks that were addressed in a very timely manner. Rusty was a good host and we enjoyed our stay. Also the place was pet friendly which was great for us.

Me and my husband booked this home to celebrate his birthday, and we were so pleased! Nikki made sure we had everything and was comfortable! The beds were comfortable and the master bathroom, was my FAVORITE part. I loved everything about the house, Nikki was an amazing host and so kind! We will definitely be booking from her again!

We had a wonderful stay! The home is located in a nice, peaceful, and safe area, which made us feel right at home. The space was very cozy and had everything we needed — all the essentials were thoughtfully provided. The bedding was especially comfortable, making it easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep. We enjoyed our stay at the Butterfly Serenity Escapes Airbnb. From the moment we booked it, to the end of our stay, we appreciated the communication and hospitality of Mrs. Tonya. The place it self was Cozy and relaxing! It is in the perfect spot for fishing and just down the road from Sea Rim Park. We spent our nights cooking dinner and playing board games or relaxing in front of the TV. We will definitely keep this place in mind for future adventures.

Ashley was an exceptional and attentive host. We booked last-minute, and she ensured the home was fully prepared for our arrival. The property has been tastefully remodeled, blending modern amenities with a warm, inviting atmosphere that still feels like home. The beds were among the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced in an Airbnb, making for a truly restful stay. The home offers ample space, perfect for a relaxing getaway. My young daughter had plenty of room to play freely, as did a friend’s two children who visited. The backyard is well-maintained and fully enclosed with a privacy fence, which provided peace of mind with the kids. It was also the perfect spot to enjoy a quiet morning on the porch with a cup of coffee from the thoughtfully stocked coffee bar. We absolutely loved it! Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay. We will definitely be back!

Kimberly’s place was very spacious, or as the grandkids said, “this house is massive!” The large kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals and the living areas were very nice for our big group. We felt safe in the neighborhood and it was very quiet and peaceful. Kimberly went above and beyond to accommodate us.

Do yourself a favor and book this house! Beautiful, spacious, clean, and unlike other Airbnb’s, had every creature comfort we needed. We had 6 of us with space for more. The kids and adults loved the variety of games. I will definitely boom again when we’re in the area!

The home was very nice for our family week get away. I enjoyed the small details like the welcome board message. I would definitely book again if I was to visit the area.

Great stay for our 2 nights in Lake Charles.

We loved this place - from the back wall of windows to the private “cave” downstairs - this place was loaded with amenities making us feel welcome and like we were home. Expertly decorated - every area was purposefully used. Clean, in a quiet neighborhood and the best location - definitely giving it 5 stars

Clean, secluded home in a peaceful setting. We had a fun, effortless stay in Kate’s Airbnb! Checkout was minimal instructions- a rarity. Will be booking again.

We had 10 people stay in this house. Everything was clean and fresh. Only minor complaint is that the description says sleeps 10 people, but only slept 8 comfortably. If there was at least a sleeper sofa, this house would get a 10 out of 10. The host was very responsive and the neighborhood was very quiet. Would definitely book again.
