Fantastic family villa with stunning vistas. It was great for our large family and still giving us enough space for ourselves. Shops nearby and good access to Taormina.

The apartment was very modern and clean. It is centered nearby the castle - note that the streets are pretty small in the center of the village, so it's better when you have a small car. Also, the road from Catania to Montalbano are very curvy and damaged at the end.

Great place to get to know Sicily east coast. The Jacuzzi is very nice

The check-in was flexible and easily arranged. The villa was beautiful and very comfortable for two couples, located outside of the city which makes it easy to unplug and relax. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Carlo was a super friendly host. We felt welcome in the truest sense of the word. We were greeted by him personally with a huge bowl of fresh fruit and a homemade cake! Carlo was very concerned about our well-being and gave us lots of great tips and recommendations for the region. The house with the large garden in a very quiet location offers a great view of Mount Etna and at the same time you can hear the sound of the sea. The house is very tastefully furnished, very clean and comfortable. As soon as it got dark, we enjoyed the view of Mount Etna from the fireplace. We would love to come back at any time and can highly recommend this accommodation.

We had a fantastic eight day stay in Mario’s wonderful villa. The location and views are incredible and we would highly recommend staying here. Mount Etna even erupted and put on a display (which was fabulous to witness) and Mario was hot on the phone telling us to get outside at 11pm to view the spectacle. A perfect venue with lots of space for our large party of eight adults and two children, the surrounding patios gave amazing panoramic views of the sea and countryside. We loved picking fresh oranges and cherries daily which was so relaxing and tasty! It’s a short 15 minute walk to the local town with a wonderful bakery and butchers plus supermarkets all accessable. We will definitely return to this wonderful villa when revisiting Sicily and I can’t recommend it enough! Thank you Mario .

Gwendalina's place was exactly as pictured and very centrally located right next to the cathedral and the fish market. The terrace was a great addition. Gwendalina was also super proactive with check-in and was very responsive. Definitely recommend!

Schon bei der Ankunft waren wir begeistert – die Bilder in der Anzeige entsprechen absolut der Realität. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, großzügig geschnitten und liegt in einer wunderbar ruhigen Gegend – perfekt, um abzuschalten und das echte Sizilien zu genießen. Wir waren mit unserer achtköpfigen Familie dort und hatten mehr als genug Platz. Jeder hatte seine Rückzugsmöglichkeit und trotzdem gab es viele schöne gemeinsame Bereiche – ob auf der Terrasse mit Ausblick, beim Essen im Freien oder im gemütlichen Wohnzimmer. Wichtig zu wissen: Das Haus ist nur mit einem Mietwagen erreichbar und die Auffahrt ist recht steil. Es braucht etwas Übung und ein bisschen Fahrgefühl – erfahrene Autofahrer schaffen das aber gut. Great location and perfect for our family of four! Easy to walk to restaurants and stores. Parking our car in the garage was super convenient.

We had a wonderful stay here! The town can be reached by bus or taxi, but make sure you’re not travelling on a public holiday (like us!) The apartment is tidy and quite spacious, and the balcony is perfect! The kitchen has everything you need with some lovely gifts of local produce left by the host. The town is beautiful and walkable, we came just before fireworks festival and were able to see some amazing local displays of celebration. The bells on the church ring out every 15 minutes between 6am and 10pm, but we were enjoyed the sound. The hosts are so helpful and lovely - really good people Highly recommend

Concetta was very engaged since we made the reservation. she helped us plan our visit to Naxos and Taormino. She was very accommodating with our travel timing. Her recommendations for boat rental, local travel, restaurants,... were all spot on we enjoyed all of them. She even stopped by to touch base, help us with our stay, and the travels. Her place is very conveniently located to all the activities,stores and public transport.

Sehr entspanntes Anwesen direkt am Etna - etwas rustikaler aber mit sehr viel Charme. Wir waren mit Baby hier und haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt und die ruhige Berglage genossen. Vor Ort gab es alles, was wir brauchten und auch die Küche war gut ausgestattet. Ende Mai war es dort auf 700m Höhe noch etwas frisch, weshalb wir den Pool nicht wirklich nutzen konnten. Ich denke am besten kommt man hier im Sommer hin, wenn es an der Küste schon zu heiß ist und man vor der Hitze fliehen will. Wir konnten den großen Außenbereich aber trotzdem sehr geniessen. Ein Auto ist unbedingt erforderlich und die Anfahrt von der Küste ist stellenweise steil, kurvig und zieht sich ziemlich hin - da hat man nicht sehr oft Bock drauf.. Wir haben auch deshalb nur jeden zweiten Tag Ausflüge gemacht und ansonsten viel am Haus entspannt. Andrea war sehr nett und hilfsbereit und obwohl er selbst in den Urlaub gefahren ist, sehr gut zu erreichen.

Nous avons passé 3 merveilleux jours dans le logement de la guest house avec le rooftop. Tout y était : la vue, la situation avec la mer, mais surtout le chaleureux accueil que nous avons reçu. De notre arrivée jusqu’à notre soirée de départ au restaurant, nous nous sommes senti chez nous. Mille mercis !

Giuseppe est un hôte exceptionnel, très serviable et disponible. Le village de Motta Camastra est très agréable et la vue sublime. Nous avons eu la chance d'y être pendant les 2 jours de la fête du village donc nous avons pu profiter des concerts, feux d'artifice, processions, illuminations et fanfare. L'appartement est très fonctionnel, bien placé dans le village et permet de profiter des différentes visites à faire aux alentours dont l'Etna. On regrette de ne pas y rester plus longtemps!

Encantados con la casa de Elisa, fuimos en familia y con auto. Es muy práctico ya que tenes lugar para estacionar en la puerta de la casa. Estaba todo impecable y Elisa te espera con todo para una rica merienda o desayuno. También te asesora para ir al centro a través de un ascensor y las mejores playas para visitar. Sin dudas volvería!!

Our expectations were exceeded. Paulo was so helpful and friendly. The pet dog Papoy even made our stay fun. Will definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone. Thanks for a memorable experience

We were two Canadian couples staying for 5 nights (after visiting Milano/Genova), with a car that we rented at Catania airport. We arrivred at 9PM but our host Nando was communicating us and received us in person. Upon arrival, fridge had some complimentary sandwiches, juice drinks and snacks, and a delicious homemade cake. Lovely place, peaceful, spacious, additional to detail, comes as advertised. Beautiful 180 degree view, when sitting outside by the pool, and even from main salon/kitchen. Loved the bedrooms and in particular the high quality mattresses and sheets. Made good use of the washing machine as we had a lot of laundry from our first week in Italy. Nando was very thoughful and proactive in checking in on us and suggesting places to visit and eat at. Good location, about a 10-15 minute drive to Taormina parking and a short drive to get on highway to visit Mount Etna or Syracuse/Ortigia. We had a wonderful stay in Sicily, thank you Nando!

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Het huis is erg comfortabel, en de tuin is prachtig. Onze kinderen hebben heerlijk in de tuin en zwembad kunnen spelen. Als je een beetje buiten de toeristische hectiek wilt zitten, en toch alle voorzieningen binnen handbereik wilt hebben dan is dit ideaal. We willen graag terug komen.

The villa is great, and the garden and pool are huge and very attractive, and also well maintained. Paul is an excellent host, friendly and responsive. You definitely need a car here as there are no pavements on the road outside the gates and the traffic whizzes along it. The local town, Trecastagni, is nice, with bars, restaurants and shops of all sorts. Overall our stay was excellent. The only downside was a building site next door that was noisy and created fumes and dust during the week, but I guess that won't be forever. Already missing it, the morning swim especially, and of course the sight (and sound) of Etna. Highly recommended. Visit Taormina while you're there. And try the Etna DOC wines.

the place was great in the middle of orange, lemon and even avocado trees. There is a highway nearby but somehow the noise did not disturb as at all. We were not very lucky with the weather as there were a lot of raining and it also affected accommodation because it felt a bit cold and moist in the rooms, but I believe that in high season and hot weather it is ok. Rooms are located in 2 separate buildings and each room has separate entrance except one room where you have kids room first and then go through it to parents bedroom. But the crib for our infant was old style and very nice. I like it. There are 2 shops nearby when you get out of the house - MD is on the right side - about 5min by car and Lidl is on the left side, about 7-8min by car. There is outdoor kitchen which is well equipped with all the necessary appliances. And also hot water.

Melania è stata gentile e disponibile da subito. La casa è super carina e comoda. Immersa nel parco naturale, vicina alle gole dell'Alcantara. Tranquilla e rilassante ma comunque non distante al centro abitato. La famiglia di Melania, che abita al piano di sotto, si è resa disponibile per qualsiasi cosa. Torneremo molto volentieri e lo consiglierò ad amici.

We hebben een geweldige week gehad. De accommodatie is een perfecte uitvalsbasis voor excursies naar de Etna of de Alcantara kloof. De woning is mooi en super goed uitgerust, echt alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Het zwembad is ondanks dat je een badmuts nodig hebt perfect. Het plaatsje zelf is niet bijzonder. Het is net alsof je een tijdreis maakt 70 jaar terug in de tijd. Er staat veel leeg en is vervallen. We zijn hier enkel naar de Pizzaria (Orso) geweest, die heeft geweldige pizza’s. Gelukkig is in o.a. Taormina genoeg te doen dus het is geen gemis.

My 3 sisters and I stayed for our annual European trip and the apartment met out needs and more. Every morning was spent on the balcony taking in the breathtaking views. Taormina is the jewel in Sicily’s crown with so much to do and see including a taste of opera, history, boat tours, beaches, shopping, gelato and more. 5 days was not long enough. Local shops and amenities are on the doorstep and you couldn’t ask for a better location with easy access to the cable car and bus stops etc. Very easy pick up/drop off for Uber. Steps are a feature of the area so pack at least 1 pair of sensible shoes!

Hôtes accueillants et de bons conseils. Le logement est agréable, parfaitement propre et l'espace bien aménagé devant est un plus pour profiter de l'extérieur.
