It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

In the green of nature and absolute tranquility

We wanted to take a break from the daily routine in a place surrounded by greenery and tranquility, this beautiful farmhouse was just right for us! It's not huge, but it has everything you need to be happy and unwind for a couple of days. It's a return to the beauty of "the good old days". Lighting the fireplace in the evening or having a barbecue outside and enjoying the beauty of that place, amidst the peace and sounds of nature was very pleasant. I highly recommend it to all lovers of nature and the rustic, for those looking for a small break from the hectic life of every day. Thanks again to Milena and Natalie, who were both very kind and helpful :)

Beautiful 3 floors house located in a beautiful location at the end of the magic Valle Calanca. There are 2 fireplaces (one indoor + one outdoor) and a BBQ as part of a nice garden. Peaceful environment, one can only listen to the flow of the river and the singing birds. Nice view on four waterfalls falling from a big mountain.

We had a great time at Rina's cottage. Beautiful view, peaceful and very quiet environment, total disconnection! Rina is an attentive, caring and charming hostess. We particularly appreciated the fenced garden, a delight for our two medium-sized dogs who took full advantage of it. And the terrace, table and benches in local stone allowed us to take almost all our meals outside, a real treat. Beautiful mid-mountain walks in this small lost valley, discovering authentic villages and hamlets. Thank you Rina for these ten days in the little paradise of Monti d'Arvigo!

We had a wonderful time at Curdin's and Sarah's place. It's a super cozy cottage with a stunning view and beautiful surroundings. The fireplace is great, too. It was clean and well equipped. Sarah and Curdin are very nice and helpful, so we felt right at home and enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you!
