Holiday rentals with breakfast in Calabria

This was a wonderful place in which to spend several days exploring beautiful Reggio Calabria and Sicily. Our hostess and host were exceptional - extraordinarily generous and kind. We were showered with thoughtful gifts of eggs, fruit, fresh picked vegetables from their garden and a bottle of their home-made wine (which was excellent). They were patient with our questions and were a fount of local insights and knowledge. Over decades of travel, they rank at the very top of the hosts that we have met. The house was immaculate, modern and very well appointed and lived up to every one of our expectations. It is on the edge of a small village and was serene and peaceful. The house is located outside of Reggio Calabria and close to the ferries to Sicily in Villa San Giovanni. A car is strongly recommended to enable local travel and trips to Sicily (which are very easy to arrange). All in all, an exceptional stay. Thank you!!!!

We were guests of the Proff Filomena in the spring that blooms. Her home is nestled in a small fenced park where tall poplars and fruit trees coexist. Magnificent sunny days took us to discover the Park and a warm focherello welcomed us when we returned, along with the delicacies that our host had left us in the purest spirit of hospitality. The atmosphere is magical! Our enchanted dog, Cora, enjoyed the crutches left for her and enjoyed great protected freedom! The home is fully equipped for both short and long-term stays. Extremely clean and super welcoming. The location is enviable in every aspect and the knowledge of the territory of Filomena made us enjoy the short time we had budgeted, but we have already booked for the return trip for a longer stay. Filomena really offered us an enchanted world full of affection! Thanks and talk to you soon!

A place surrounded by the unspoiled nature of the pollen, a beautiful house for those who want relaxation and tranquility, about a half hour by car but a nice place to relax and regenerate, Enza was super welcoming and kind, upon arrival she made us find a delicious cake!!!! highly recommended!!!!

The host went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Clean, spacious, and secure accommodations. Would reccommend to anyone who is staying in Reggio.

We were guests of Mr. Francesco alla Formaggera for a week. La Formaggera is located in a unique place for the landscape that surrounds it and a little enchanted by the saturated atmosphere of history that you can breathe in it. The house is simple, but delightfully furnished; the kitchen is well organized and equipped with everything you need and you can have lunch and dinner outside, cool. Far from the chaos, you can rest in the shade of the pines, surrounded by prickly pears and Calabra nature. The beautiful pool and its covered patio, much appreciated on warm days, are certainly a strong point. The sea is close and in the nearest town there are supermarkets and many other shops including the excellent Lagani dairy and the nearby pastry shop. The village of Badolato, a few kilometers away, is worth visiting.

Lovely modern apartment that is up on the hill. Well equipped. A lot of noise from the traffic outside - on a junction.

Where do I start. Beautiful house up in the hills around 5km from town. On arrival we were welcomed by Vitoria and his family and immediately felt at home. Evening meal with wine was offered for €25 each, glad we accepted as it was the best meal in Italy so far. Typical Calabrian food mostly from their farm. Served outside on the terrace by all family members and w Service was like you would get in a restaurant. On arrival, fridge had water, bread, fruit juice, salami and fresh milk along with a fresh bowl of oranges from the garden. Fresh baked croissants delivered for breakfast along with fresh peaches. The house was spotlessly clean and very comfy beds. On leaving, Vittorio’s wife supplied us with home made Nduja Calabrese and jars of pickled vegetables. Cute and very friendly dogs. What a wonderful family to stay with ❤️🇮🇹❤️👌

Perfect house! Spacious, clean, cozy, with all the accessories (washing machine, dishwasher, 2 bathrooms) very close to the center of the village and in an ideal location also to find parking. The Owner was very helpful throughout our stay and fully met every need. Thank you again 🙏🏻🤗

Stayed for 2 nights with another couple. Super close to the city center with lots of shops and restaurants! Beautiful view of the sea, beaches and castle. And of course, this place is so Cool inside! Only thing I would say was I wish the keys were labeled so we could know which one was which for each of the 3 doors to get inside and outside. It was a bit loud from people down below on the street in the middle of the nights, so keep windows shut. But overall great stay! Would stay again.

I've spent some wonderful days in the danilo lodging The house is impeccable, all new I slept very well with the bed, very comfortable, quiet and low light. Very comfortable for a family It has the very nice beach 100 meters from the apartment The balcony is unique with ocean views for a rich coffee Danilo is a very nice guy and always willing to help I would recommend it 110% We will be back!

This airbnb was great! Just what I needed with everything I needed and in the centre of town. Sabrina is lovely and was very accommodating. I would definitely stay there again and I enjoyed my stay there.

This is a very beautiful, top floor, private space with a lovely view from the patio. Bruna and her daughter were wonderful hosts, making sure we had all the basics as well as breakfast and beverages. They prepared recommendations of nearby restaurants and it turns out the restaurant suggested "A Cantina Cosentina" was our favorite meal of the trip. There is an electric gate for the parking area and we felt very secure. There are 3 rooms, each with its own private bathroom and shower. One of the many extras that we really enjoyed.… Bruna encouraged us to pick lemons from the tree downstairs. It was the freshest and sweetest lemonade ever! We would highly recommend Bruna's place if you need a nice place to stay in the Cosenza area.

It was a beautiful stay. The B&B has a beautiful garden, with a great view and breakfast was great. The bedroom has a private bathroom and a separate access, while the garden is shared. Roberto's parents who welcomed us were very kind and helpful in everything, including having a chat. Roberto we did not meet him but he was always quick to respond to our requests by phone. You can reach in two minutes by car a parking lot from which you can access (with somewhat strenuous walks) to two beautiful and peaceful coves.

Alessandra and Pietro were such amazing hosts! They were so friendly, genuine and helpful. Staying in Bova was the highlight of our trip to Italy - the town itself is beautiful, but not too touristy (yet!). Our place was clean and had everything we needed. We loved the view from the patio. But what really made our stay so special was the fact that Alessandra and Pietro went above and beyond in their hospitality - bringing us oranges from their garden, having us for coffee on a rainy day and always having good recommendations for what to do in Calabria. We hope to be back one day!

I highly recommend this location. Homey atmosphere, felt like home. Nadia,very helpful, after getting lost in the surrounding streets, left us by car, and after the accommodation offered coffee,tea,beer with a cake overlooking the beautiful sunset. The best breakfast I had in B&B in Italy,plus a beautiful view of the sea. I had my honeymoon, and Nadia surprised us with a small gift-which I wasn't expecting at all. The room is clean and spacious. I would like to go back.

Wonderful hotel like airbnb in the middle of Reggio. Breakfast was good and the mini fridge in the room was very convenient. One thing that could be improved is that the check-in information could be provided without having to ask for them.

Clean room, convenient place to visit Reggio on foot, free parking nearby; being on May 1st you could hear some noise from the street that, however, did not prevent you from sleeping. Above all, Sabrina was very nice and warm from arrival to departure, a smiling and friendly person! I'll be back :)
