What a nice experience to stay in a log cabin. This one was even made by Karl, very handsome. Through other reviews, we were made aware of the use of the sauna. What a great experience that was. The sauna is 500 m away, where you are completely shielded. At least for now, because the nature campsite was not busy. This allowed us to cool off in the stream. The sauna is highly recommended! Also the only way to shower. This was in the open air. It may be a new experience, but we have enjoyed it. Thank you, Satu and Karl!

We had some lovely days in the mountains. The cabin was spacious and neat. Good with sauna after a long ski trip 😊 Everything was up to expectations.

Really nice cabin with plenty of space. We enjoyed a mini vacation at Ole's place with great hikes, relaxation in the spa, well-equipped kitchen and great views. Highly recommend the place to others.

We just landed back in UK after a fantastic stay in beautiful post card picture log cabin,loads of space and very warm and homely. steep drive to cabin in icing weather but roads are cleared.foind it ok We drove to hovden and did skiing for 3 days around 1 Hr drive but broke on your doorstep but was only open on sat, Sunday, Thursday and we arrived Friday.

Very nice host who was very accommodating to easy to pocket with. Responded to everything we were wondering about easy to reach. Incredibly nice cabin with everything needed, very nice cabin area. Would love to come back 🙂

It was a nice cabin and it was heated when we arrived, which was really nice.. The cabin wasn't missing anything and we had a lovely week👍..

Lovely cabin located right by ski slopes and only a stone's throw from the slalom slope.. We were a bit unfortunate with the weather so the cover was closed, but went for walks and found other nice things. Good communication with the cabin owner and they responded very quickly. Would definitely recommend this place☺️

Wonderful holiday in Bortelid. Highly recommended if you want a quiet and peaceful break in superb surroundings.

Fantastic nice cabin, a bit tricky to find the right cabin in the dark- but it's just trifling compared to how big, nice and good space it was in the cabin! The host was very accommodating and answered everything I was wondering about ahead of time ☺️ Feel free to rent the cabin again at a later date ☺️

What a great house, with all the comforts. Very luxurious furnishings and beautiful design. I think even more beautiful for winter than in summer.

The vacation in the cottage was beautiful. Everything was clean and well maintained. Communication with Einar was always super fast and helpful. The location of the cottage is perfect. We had a great time as a family with 4 children and can definitely recommend it.

Simple hut, as described. There are sheep right next to the hut😊. Unfortunately, there were no garbage bags, for example, and it was not quite as clean as the other accommodations we stayed in. For one night, however, it's perfectly fine.

Very nice and welcoming host. Met us upon arrival and gave good instructions on how it worked with gas, water and electricity. That this runs on aggregates/solar cells. Had to fill water about twice a day, and have to think about how to use water in relation to home, both in terms of the amount of cold and hot water. The cabin is for someone who appreciates living a little easier than a cabin that has standards like home. Great location that invites peace and privacy. Will be back for sure!

We did stay here for two weeks and it was the right place for relaxation and recharging batteries. The house is very nice, new, modern, plenty of space , equipped with all we need and even more. The area is very quiet . From here we started various hiking tours. In Ljosland and a bit further in Åseral we could get all food we need. And the view from the house is indeed great. Thank you!
