The chalet is located about 15 minutes from Palmer Proper in the rural Butte, only minutes from the Reindeer Farm and Pyrahs "You Pick" Farm. We look forward to having you join us!

The Johnson House Cottage

The cottage is a secluded guesthouse in a friendly neighborhood with spectacular views of the Knik Glacier and river. This retreat has room for up to four guests. It is an open floor plan with a double bed on the ground floor and twin beds in an upstairs loft. The kitchen has an induction cooktop, refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave. Propane BBQ on the deck and bathroom with a shower. Our cottage is not visible from the parking area so self check-in is not an option.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Occasional moose sleep in the yard as additional guests. The legendary Valley wind rarely gets to this spot! The bike path is 100 yards away to Palmer or to the South Face of the Butte to climb. Longer stays available with cost savings, just ask. You’ll love the ambiance we've worked to create and the best is yet to come! Rustic shabby chic decor. Great place for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and small families. We also have a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage next door on another listing.

The Eagle's Nest Treehouse Cabin

Come and sleep in the trees in Alaska! This cabin is a free standing treehouse (up in the trees but not attached to the trees). It has a kitchenette area and 2 bathrooms (one with a shower). It offers a king size bed on the 2nd floor and a full size bed on the first floor that rests on the floor under the stairs. We are family friendly and love kids of all ages.

Our cabin is located just off the North Glenn Highway 62 miles from Anchorage, Alaska and 15 miles from Palmer, Alaska.
