The Logis de Saint Germain

A charming Logis de chasse (hunting lodge) dating from 1666, on the edge of the village of Saint German de Montbron, nestling in the beautiful Charente countryside. We have two very spacious bedrooms, a large salon, kitchen and bathroom. All is fully modernised. Access to the garden for outdoor dining, barbecue, all in a very pretty garden. Use of the owners above ground pool and 2 acres of garden. We also have a second gite, for two people, listed on Airbnb, making it ideal for larger groups.

Sunflower Cottage - sleeps 4

Sunflower Cottage is part of a suite of terraced cottages at Gites Rue Du Chateau, with access to spacious gardens, with woodland, a beautiful clear stream running through an ancient lavoir and a covered dining terrace. We have an above ground pool, boules area, BBQs, outside kitchen with dining terrace and cosy fire pit area. Surprisingly peaceful, but within walking distance of restaurants, bakeries, shops and market. Local activities include the Rejallant canoeing centre.

Piaf at Bassinaud - lovely rural gite, great views

Tastefully furnished, well-appointed and in a bucolic setting, this stand-alone cottage has everything you need to get away from it all. This old barn renovated in charming stone country house is very comfortable with these 2 large bedrooms and their bathroom each in mezzanine. in the living room the sofa transforms into a bed for one or 2 people. It is located in a small hamlet not far from the Château de Hautefort, where you can relax with family or friends. The garden is very nice with its 10 m by 5 swimming pool, pétanque track and ping pong table.
