Holiday rentals with breakfast in Bury St Edmunds

I had a lovely stay and enjoyed some beautiful walks. It was really handy having such a range of breakfast items. There was milk, choice of 2 cereals, bread, butter, jam and yogurts! Bed was very comfy and the studio was very clean. Wifi was excellent which was helpful as I'd taken some work to get done in the evenings. Would recommend to my friends.

Rebecca was very responsive from booking to check out. Very friendly and approachable. The accommodation exceeded all expectations. Beautiful cottage, had everything we needed and more. The food was a lovely surprise! Thank you. The toiletries were amazing too (they smell divine!). Very comfortable to relax and sleep. Really hope to come again and stay longer next time! So much more to explore!

We had a lovely time at Diana‘s property. It was very homely and comfortable. We decided to Uber to and from the property to the city centre to avoid driving in and that worked well - driving around the city centre is a challenge if you’re not local! All in all, a great place to stay.

Great little find. Easily walkable into Cambridge. Some great shops and cafes nearby. The property has some lovely touches - lovely bed linens, towels & high end toiletries in the bathrooms. Easy check in and good communications/ guidance from Sarah.

Amazing short stay at Verna’s place whilst away on business. Will definitely stay again in the near future. The room was really restful, great amenities, and off street parking was a bonus. Highly recommend!

The Old Post Office is a real gem - perfect for a couple. It is beautifully appointed with lots of character. It has a new shower room and kitchen with everything we need. Karen provides a very generous welcome basket - with eggs, bacon, sausages, bread, butter, jam, milk, coffee, tea, juice and a bottle of Prosecco! We didn't have to worry about getting breakfast. Wickham Market itself is very picturesque with grocery shops open until late in the evening. It is a great base for Sutton Hoo, Woodbridge and Southwold - which we visited. There are also two pubs nearby - The Greyhound and the Crown - both of which have an excellent restaurant. Karen is very helpful. We accidently left our cool bag in the house and she offered to post it back to us. All in all, we highly recommend staying here.

Lydia’s place is beautiful! Absolutely pristine, and in a really gorgeous setting. Lydia herself was also very friendly and responsive.

Ruth’s home is a welcoming place to stay. It’s very comfortable and characterful, the bed is comfy and there’s lots of hot water. Ruth is a generous host and communication was good throughout. For those working there, the wifi is strong but the dedicated work space is just the dining room. Fine if working alone but possibly not if others are in the house. There is an attractive walk from the house and a sweet garden to sit in. Thanks Ruth.

This is a very special find. Every detail of the flat has been prepared with love and care. It’s a creative quirky space full of beautiful things. The location is only a couple of minutes from the start of the arty precinct leading into Norwich; lots of cafes and bars and studios on the walk into town. I used the back stairs once I got in- just easier to navigate . Communication from Tony and Caryn was friendly and clear and went above and beyond. Thanks😌

Loved James’ place 💖 We were visiting my friend nearby and how fortunate we were to stay at his place! It was so cozy and felt like home. The bed was very comfortable (we only slept in the master bedroom) and the modern kitchen was thoughtfully laid out. Quiet neighbourhood but super accessible to everything - short walk to grocery stores & nearby parks. Appreciated detailed instructions and recommendations! Will definitely come back and stay again (if James likes us :D) + also, spotted some cute wild foxes nearby! Very exciting!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, met with friends, easy for taxi drivers to find their way. Enjoyed the walks around the area, Newhall feels you are living in the countryside with all the greenery surrounding the area. Very pleasant area.

We absolutely loved our stay in Woodditton. The house was beautiful spacious, quiet, and equipped with modern amenities, all set within lovely private grounds. We enjoyed walks along the nearby bridle path and ended each day with a delicious dinner at the local pub. It was a fantastic stay!

The location is great - convenient if arriving on train, near good restaurants, and easy to get downtown. Diep is very friendly and available.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in Kitty’s beautiful and interesting house. Kitty is warm and welcoming, and keen to help in any way. We felt very relaxed and welcome. Kettle and drinks in the bedroom and a wonderfully comfy bed. A great place to stay.

Nasreen was very warm and welcoming and we enjoyed chatting with her while she was showing us around. The room was spacious and very clean making our stay extra comfortable. In the morning she even offered us some sandwiches to take with us to the airport. Truly a thoughtful and kind host!

The host was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I felt very much at home. The room and private bathroom were both well presented and well equipped. The breakfast was very nice and timings were very flexible. I would definitely return.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay with Sophie and James. There was myself, my cousin, my partner and our 6 month old boy. We felt right at home and I would give 6/5 stars if I could. I highly recommend James and Sophie’s home, which is spacious and comfortable, but it is the hospitality and their warmth that made the trip to Dedham a truly memorable experience. Also, the breakfast is delectable. Looking forward to hopefully coming back one day soon!
