Host & Stay | Lime Tree House

GeorgiaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had a wonderful stay at lime tree. The photos don’t do it justice. Very comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Felt cosy and homely. My family had a lovely time and the house was a great base to explore the local area and lakes. Will definitely be back. Thanks

We had a lovely stay at Margaret and John's lodge. It is really peaceful, well equipped and comfortable as well as being well located for exploring coast, lakes or dales. Margararet was friendly and helpful :) thank you very much for having us! We would happily book again x

One bedroom cottage with private courtyard garden

KatieRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Me and my partner stayed here for a weekend away and it was amazing. The cottage itself was beautiful on the inside and out. Very clean and tidy and had every amenity you could want. From a coffee machine to a food processor. There were also a variety of board games and helpful books about the cottage and activities. Very very spacious given the price and felt very luxurious and cosy. Felt immediately at home and I would LOVE to come and stay again once the barn is renovated as that also looks amazing. We went on a walk and saw some stunning views, while of course stopping to see the cows. Amazing amazing amazing. Would absolutely go again!

The Barn at Blease

JennyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We absolutely loved our stay at The Barn! Joanna was a fantastic host – warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. She greeted us on arrival, showed us around, and gave great local recommendations. She was also really responsive to messages and flexible when we asked about early check-in and late check-out, which made everything so much easier. The Barn itself is even more beautiful than the photos – cosy, spotless, and full of thoughtful touches like bathroom minis, a great selection of books, and fresh apple juice in the mornings. The welcome manual was clear and helpful, although we didn’t need to refer to it much thanks to Joanna’s warm welcome and explanations. The location is perfect for exploring the Lakes, and the peaceful surroundings made for a great night’s sleep. We only wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend staying here – and we’re already hoping to return. Thank you so much Joanna for such a lovely stay!

Westbrook Cottage | Holme Mills

JackRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely little house, in a private little town. Amazing scenery and views all around. Didn’t get out to explore much as was focused on an ultra marathon. Sam left a booklet filled with recommendations and places to visit. Was my first time in the lakes and would happily come back and stay again to explore much more. Perfect location for Kendal and Windermere very easy to get to from the motorway. Would recommend getting shopping before arrival. Cottage was lovely and clean. Beautiful little renovation on an old style house. Overall very please with our stay and the hosts were very accommodating.

Sweetcorn small but sweet

GemmaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Had a great couple of days here. Great central location with lots of pubs and places to eat. Easy to drive into The Dales for walks and Heather was a great host. Sweetcorn is a clean and cosy flat on the main road, pub directly next door and one across the road, both dog friendly 🙂. Car park is really close as well which was handy.
