The Old Stone Shed, Historic Country farm stay

AnnRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Beautiful quiet place with lovely views. Host Peter and Julie were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Two great books in the stone house describing the history of their farm. Simple kitchen with an excellent deck area with a bbq and firepit. Great place to watch sky at night and enjoy a glass of local red wine.

Yass Country Retreat - views, fireplace, backyard!

LouiseRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This house was perfect for 2 families staying for a long weekend. We came into a warm house with the heaters and fire already going for us which was very welcoming on a cold day. The kitchen was so spacious and had everything we needed. The backyard was huge and the kids enjoyed playing outside. The bathroom was very clean. The beds were comfy and warm. The whole house was spacious for 8 of us and was very charming. Our hosts gave us so many recommendations for the local area which we found very helpful and they were very responsive. Would highly recommend booking here and we would love to come and stay again.

Both hosts were incredibly warm, genuine, and friendly! We arrived quite late, but they still came to welcome us with their adorable dog. They even prepared some milk for us and gave us a detailed introduction to the house. The cottage felt like a peaceful retreat from the world—beautiful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. The stars at night were stunning, and in the morning, we woke up to the sight of little birds outside the window. Although it rained during our stay, it didn’t affect our joy and appreciation for this lovely place. We hope to come back again on a sunny day, and hopefully see these kind and wonderful hosts once more!

The Convent, Murrumburrah

KendallRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Group of 8 mid-40s girlfriends had a lovely stay in the old Convent. Everyone had a beautiful comfortable room of their own, and a kitchen/dining/living room that felt like home to catch up in. Homely touches such as a great coffee machine, condiments, loads of glassware and serving bowls, all make it practical and welcoming. Cold dreary weather meant we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoors much, but we rugged up and walked to the historic sites nearby and the local pub. We hope to return to the Convent (and Thorpie!) one day soon!

Absolutely beautiful home! We felt right at home during our stay and whilst it was incredibly cold outside the woodfire and heaters kept everyone cosy and warm. Highly recommend this beautiful historic gem!

Hold Cottage - a luxury country getaway

steveRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a great stay at Hold Cottage. Belinda had left some goodies in the fridge and kitchen which were such a welcome surprise. The decor and ambience was easy country. Very comfortable. Great backyard with a fire pit to sit around at night. It’s a short walk into town. The food at the pub and cafe is top notch and there are some super good restaurants not far at Gundaroo and wineries around Murambateman that we explored. We’ll be back at Hold Cottage sometime in the future.

Modern City Living in Canberra

LynnRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is my third Canberra stay in as many months, and I was grateful to be welcomed to this apartment in person by the most friendly, responsive and fun host. The property is luxe - gorgeous styling, the comfiest bed and all the amenities you need. It’s close to excellent restaurants and a five minute walk to Lake Burley Griffin and the Russell precinct. With secure onsite parking and its easy-access location this property is perfect for a working trip or somewhere to stay to explore this lovely city. I will hope to stay again at Italo’s property and highly recommend it to any traveller to Canberra.
