Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Burlington

Cary’s place was phenomenal. Walking in I felt as though I had walked right into my very own home. The pleasant aroma will meet you at the door. The home in entirety is immaculate. Very clean from the linens to the shower curtain. Those are the things I appreciate and look for in every Airbnb I stay in. Cary’s place checked every box. The lightning in the home is a huge plus. The beds are so comfortable. The kitchen is beautiful with plenty of space. Bathrooms are a great size. Luggage racks are provided. I could rave about this home all day. Please just book. You will not be disappointed.

Wonderful place to stay when you are in the Pittsboro North Carolina area. Very peaceful and quiet location. The hosts were very responsive to questions, beds were comfortable and very nice kitchen. Our dogs loved the fenced in back yard.

Karen and Robert were lovely hosts - warm and welcoming, even though we never met in person. They were very responsive to all of our questions. The home itself is rustic and modern, and while only minutes away from restaurants, was a peaceful escape from city noise. Would absolutely love to stay here again.

So happy we found Abbigayle's house to stay in for our daughter's graduation at Elon University. Lovely house, lots of space, great sofa and chairs, comfy beds with excellent bed linens and good quality towels. Would definitely recommend staying here and would happily stay again. I stayed at Kumi’s place for one night on my way back from a seminar with my working cadaver dog. After a week of working, it was just the relaxing space we needed! I wish we’d had time to stop for more than just a night, I will absolutely be visiting again when it’s warm enough for the pool to be open. The hot tub was delightful for my sore muscles and the shower was super nice. The plants were such a nice surprise and made me feel at home. Kumi was an excellent host and K9 Duke gives her place 4 paws up

I needed a quiet escape after a death in my family, and Erin’s place checked all the boxes. The home was clean and cozy. I highly recommend if you need somewhere peaceful to recharge away from it all.

This was such a special trip for our family and this house was perfect for the occasion. We felt right at home and the host was so friendly. We can’t wait to come back while looking for home in Summerfield!

This was the perfect place to break up a long trip. It was hands down one of the cleanest rentals we have found in a while!! Everything worked well, the house plan is laid out really well - it's surprisingly very spacious and was quiet for a much needed night of rest before another long leg of our journey. I loved everything about Jeanette's tiny house AirBnB. I felt inspired to have stayed there for three nights. I got a lot of work accomplished for my clients while staying there. As well as now feeling rested and ready for the next leg of my journey. Even the exterior and interiordesign of this tiny house inspired me. I hope one day I'll be able to design and build something that evokes the same feeling of spaciousness in such a small space—perhaps as a studio for my creative projects that might also double as a place where my visitors might stay. Highly recommended!

My partner and I loved our stay! We really appreciated Jacson’s flexibility and communication about our check-in. The apartment had everything we needed, too, and was a close walk to downtown.

Eight of us rented this house for a book club 20th anniversary celebration. It is an older building, but has been beautifully renovated and modernized. The kitchen was well-equipped, including basic supplies and the entire place was immaculate. I believe this is the first Airbnb I have rented that had enough towels for everyone. It also had a lovely back porch for morning coffee and adequate parking. The owners answered any questions almost immediately in addition to providing detailed information about the house and Durham on their Airbnb page. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Durham.

Our stay was more than we expected. Lisa and Ginny were such accommodating hosts. We felt like family! We will definitely be booking again when we’re in town visiting our children.

Great stay with a rustic experience. Loved hearing the rooster when i arrived and the frogs at night. The Magnolia tree smells amazing. Definitely off thr beaten path and a great get away for fast paced city folks. The studio had some many detailed touches and was very nice!

This was not my first stay at the Scout House, and it will not be my last. Everything about it is perfection - from the location, to the property, to the sensational hosts (Marie & BJ). My stay was delightful in every way and I cannot wait to return!

Mena is such a great host! The cabin had everything you could possibly need, all the necessary small appliances you could ever use, well stocked spice tray plus much more! Not to mention, the cabin is decorated so perfectly and the deck is extremely inviting to just sit and read or just enjoy the view of the lake. The dock is perfect for sun-bathing or fishing. Perfect getaway. I will be back!

Arriving at this Janice and Tom’s cabin, our jaws were on the floor. The cabin itself is gorgeous, surrounded by nature and with a wrap around porch to enjoy the sounds of the river and watch fireflies light up at dusk. The pool and pool house are where we spent most of our time. With lounge chairs, a fridge for snacks and drinks and views of the pond and forest, it was a great place to spend our days and cool off. Janice and Tom were communicative, helpful and kind! We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend to those looking for a break from the hustle and bustle. It was an incredible place to reconnect with friends and with nature. Thank you so much Janice and Tom!!

Peter & Jenny were gracious and generous hosts. The surroundings were lovely and serene. Walks in the woods surrounded by God’s beautiful creation were a special treat. We would love to have an opportunity to return!

This was my 2nd visit to the Klump's cabin, and certainly won't be my last. The pictures and description of this site fail to do it justice, as words and images cannot fully convey the sense of peace just being here brings. And then there's all the "little things" that Gene & Connie provide and do that add so much. Little touches inside and out that just add to the rustic charm, yet modern convenience. Snacks, drinks, magazines to read, firewood cut, split, and stacked ready for use. And there's my favorite feature: the outdoor shower. Isolated, yet close enough in to enjoy the benefits of the city. If you need to sit a spell, breathe, and just relax, this is the place you need to go. Thank you, Connie & Gene!

Southern C’s was even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. Scott greeted us upon arrival and introduced us to the property. He was super personable and nice to talk to and was available throughout our entire stay if we needed him. The cabin itself was so unique and antique but with the necessary modern comforts. Our senior dog did struggle at first with the stairs but we carried her up for bedtime at night and eventually she figured them out on her own; they are just steep and widely spaced. It can be a little warm upstairs for a hot sleeper like myself at night but with the fan it cooled off well enough. Highly recommend taking some time to walk around the property and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The horses boarded there as well as the owners horse are incredibly beautiful and well taken care of. If you ask, Scott will introduce you to some. We plan to return here for another trip.

We had such a wonderful stay here. The rental is very nice and the fenced in backyard with a fire pit was definitely a bonus. Everything was super clean and Eric was very kind and helpful. Next time we are in the area we will definitely stay here again.
