Beautiful house with great amenities. The bed was SO comfortable and the kitchen has everything you could need with great appliances. Lauren was very responsive and easy to work with and very helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

It was perfect for us. We wanted to be close to Wiseman’s View and this was a beautiful 30 minute drive there. Our kids loved it too. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed for a long weekend with out two Pugs and it was a very peaceful, beautiful place. The cabin was clean and welcoming. There were many condiments for cooking and an IGA about 10 minutes away. You probably want to bring food for the first night because the IGA is not going to be easy to find after dark. June was super nice and great communicataion. We would love to come back another time and stay longer. Our friends even want to go with us next time.

In from AZ to attend granddaughters HS graduation. Perfect location down on the farm. Private, quiet, restful place for family gathering. Plenty of room. Great for cooking our favorite meals. Hoping to visit again for future holidays.

WONDERFUL. Mark and Kimberly really set the bars with the home and communication! They were quick to respond always helpful! The home was beautiful it was just what we needed! We were only 15 min from downtown Morganton but still got to experience the mountains with the location. 10/10 we will definitely be booking again!

Overall, the stay at Blind place was great! House was clean, location was great, and Blin was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The hike down to the water is challenging and accurately portrayed in the listing. Be prepared for a steep ascent when you’re done on the water.

This was our first time to Lake James and we are definitely coming back! The house was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our needs. It was very clean and had everything in great supply. Like others have written, the house is bigger than the pics let on. Susan was proactive with making sure we had the address, codes, etc before we arrived and very responsive if we had a question. All in all, it was a great time with the family!

Nicole's place is very quiet, peaceful and serene. Neighbors we nice and friendly. We felt right at home. Plenty of things to keep kids busy.

Had an amazing stay! The place was perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway—comfortable lodging with stunning views for both sunrise and sunset. Loved watching the local wildlife roam and exploring the great hiking trails nearby. There was plenty to do, yet it was also the perfect spot to unwind. Hope to return again soon! We had an amazing stay at the lake house! The property was spotless and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals. The highlight of the stay was definitely the lake—perfect for swimming, relaxing, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The combination of a clean and comfortable home with the natural beauty of the lake made for a wonderful getaway.

Host was very responsive. Not anything that is their fault and they gave good directions but it’s a little confusing just due to the hurricane destroying access to get to the property. Otherwise it was a quiet neighborhood a great location. And they gave awesome recommendations for local things to do. We came for the hiking but did so many things locally. I would book again for sure!

My only wish is that I owned a place like this on the lake myself!

My family and I recently stayed at Corinne’s place for Christmas as my mom lives nearby. It was a perfect Airbnb for us - absolutely beautiful house and views, plenty of space, kitchen and laundry were ideal. We did not use the sauna or the downstairs but they looked great too. Internet was fast and beds were comfy too. We hope to stay again when visiting family!
