Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Buffalo

A beautiful area of lovely homes. The place is compact with everything you need - just a short drive to Niagara Falls. If possible, definitely go to the Canadian side - the views and experience are astonishing. Our hosts were very hospitable.

This has been our second all-star stay at Catherine's Airbnb in Buffalo. It is private, quiet, comfortable, beautifully appointed and well located. We can walk to places... a concert at Kleinhans, a meal at Five Points Bakery or simply stroll the neighborhood with its front yard gardens and interesting architecture. This house was very nice with plenty of space for our family of 4 - could have easily fit 8 people pretty comfortably. House was certainly an old home that came with some quirks, but was nicely renovated and fully stocked with helpful items, kitchen was very nice with great quality appliances. Backyard was a great little oasis with a cool spot to relax, grill and eat an outdoor dinner. 25 mins to Niagara Falls, which was our main reason for visiting the Buffalo area. Host was responsive and helpful. The location is on a fairly busy road which was good and bad. A decent amount of constant vehicular traffic, but also very easy to get to places. Would recommend this house for a large family or a couple small families looking to visit the Buffalo/Niagara area.

Very cute and family friendly stay, would recommend this place for anyone visiting Buffalo, house is clean and had everything you need nice and ready. Hosts were great and had good communication. 10/10 will come back when back in town again.

We had a wonderful experience at the castle. It was even more beautiful than we could have expected and made for a very unique stay. Our host was very responsive and helped make checking in and out a breeze. I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a one of a kind experience.

Matt & Lauren's place is such a gem in Buffalo. We stayed there for a weekend, and we felt right at home. The place home is super spacious, clean, and quiet. We appreciated the wonderful kitchen where we were able to prepare and share meals. We also appreciated the location, which is walkable to downtown, Allentown, and Elmwood Village, so we actually didn't drive a single time during our stay. Matt and Lauren left clear instruction and were otherwise accommodating. Would recommend and stay again. Thank you!

On its own The Italianate is a beautiful home. The craftsmanship and mid-nineteenth century charm paired with tastefully curated furniture and amenities makes for a very cozy, yet upscale vibe. What made this stay most enjoyable, though, was an attentive and responsive host. Maura went above and beyond what was necessary to make sure we were taken care of throughout our stay. It is clear that this property has been a labor of love. Overall, excellent stay that I would recommend to anyone visiting the area with family. Bonus points for the copy of Letters of C.S. Lewis that I spotted on the bookshelf.

Enjoyed our stay. It’s centrally located and close to all we wanted to do. We’ve stayed here before and will stay here again in the future.

The 2D Spot was a great place to stay while spending time in Buffalo. The apartment was clean and tidy with fresh washed linens and towels for us to use. The location was in a quiet neighborhood next to a school so we were able to get a good nights sleep. Access to Netflix and other streaming services so we could watch TV on our downtime. Perfect for our mini-vacation.

We had a fantastic stay at Audrey & Nick’s place! The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. We were in town to see family, and this was the perfect home base. The space was even better than expected—beautifully maintained and in a great location. Audrey & Nick were wonderful hosts—responsive, thoughtful, and easy to communicate with. We’ll definitely want to stay here again on our next visit. Highly recommended!

Ron was a wonderful host! He greeted us when we arrived and told us if we needed anything to let him know, as well as the few other times we saw him throughout our stay. The Airbnb was spacious and comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet, and there was plenty of sights and things to do within walking distance.

The Air B&B was amazing, super clean and updated. Lots to do around town the town and will be booking it again next time we travel down to buffalo

Tracey's place is a little home away from home. Always peaceful and welcoming! I have stayed many times and will always look forward to returning when I'm in town.

Staying at Jaycie’s home was great. Super accommodating, great communicator, thoughtful host, very clean. Gave us a heads up about local events.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The space is much bigger than it appears in photos and we appreciated the privacy of having our own place to retreat back to after a long days spent exploring Elmwood Village and Allentown. Very comfortable beds, great kitchen and tons of interesting books and games (including a dartboard!). Thanks for being great hosts and we look forward to returning the next time we visit Buffalo.

I recently spent three nights at this charming Airbnb, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The space was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, making it feel cozy and inviting. The location was perfect—close to local attractions and restaurants, yet quiet enough for a peaceful retreat. I loved the thoughtful touches. The host was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. I truly felt at home and appreciated all the little details that made my visit special. I had a great stay at this Airbnb! The space was clean, cozy, and just as pictured. The bed was very comfortable, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. Our stay at Jon's place went exceptionally well. He provided plenty of good advice ahead of time and was very thorough in all his communication. Gave great recommendations for things to do, bars and restaurants, etc. We really appreciated his upfront communication, and he was always available when/if we needed anything. My wife and I stayed at The Eugene for a couple nights on our trip to Niagara Falls. This is a great little spot just outside of town. Close enough to be a 5 minute drive from the falls, but far enough to where you weren’t in the craziness of the downtown area.

Michael was very helpful and responsive while we stayed at his place. If we come back we will be booking same place if we stay via Airbnb and if his place is available .

The apartment is conveniently located just minutes from the Falls, but away from all the main traffic and congestion. It was fantastic and made it easy to do all the things we planned. There were lots of other AirBnbers in the area and the community felt incredibly safe, well kept, and easily accessible. This is a great choice.
