We had a fantastic stay with Kate & Amrit. The flat is a great place to base to yourself. There are some fantastic amenities and local restaurants on your doorsteps. If you want to go into town it is only a short taxi ride away. We would highly recommend! Thank you Kate & Amrit :)

The place was amazing. A little miscommunication on the host’s part as the place is no smoking but the same is not listed on the listing page.

What shall I say about this place! It was like I was with my family; caring and protective hosts, delicious foods, local traditions, and the company of the little ones of the family unforgettable. I usually travel from city to city when I am in a new country, however, staying with this family fulfilled me so much that I did not feel the need to go anywhere else- so, I spent an entire month that flew quickly in Kathmandu. The house is located in a local area, away from the noise of the rather touristy Thamel where you see more tourists than locals. The Kapan monastery area is the best to stay at. I would recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Kathmandu as it is a genuine homestay experience.

Good stay, considerate hosting. Old style hospitality missing in most of South Asia nowadays. Homely and seeped in knowledge culture.

Dil’s place is nice to stay with good price. Dil helps a lot for the transport from the airport to his place.

We had the most amazing stay at Natasha’s place. She and her family are so sweet and helped us with everything we needed. It is the perfect location, just a few minutes walk from the stupa and right of of Phulbari road. Her place was so clean and cozy, it felt like a home away from home. I will definitely be staying here again if I return to KTM! Thank you Natasha!

The place was fabulous, exactly how it was presented in pictures. Had all the amenities as listed. I would say you will feel at home staying here, the rooms were cozy and clean. Bathrooms were spotless and overall we had a great experiance staying. Please don't think twice before booking the place if you see it book it.

I also enjoyed Pranaya’s restaurant recommendations. I thought he might be playing it overly safe for foreigners but I really liked all the food. A lot.

Praveen ji was an outstanding host. The stay was amazing — the place was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. From the moment I arrived, Praveen ji’s warm welcome and genuine hospitality made me feel right at home. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. A very good stay. Suffice it to say we've booked another month-long stay here. The apartment is very comfortable and has everything we need and Devendra has been wonderfully helpful and friendly. The family's two dogs are great fun to socialize with. The area is off the tourist track but has lots of handy shops and markets and is just a short taxi ride from the Thamel district. It nestles at the foot of the wooded hills which surround Kathmandu and is great for walks. Altogether warmly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Aashraya Jyotis place! The flat was clean and nicely kept, not in the hustle of Thamel but close by. It felt like home. :) Aashraya was very friendly and helpful in every regard and helped with all the questions I had. Thanks a lot for everything!

Spacious apartment in a great area. The home was comfortable and right in the middle of Thamel, a short walk to lots of shops and restaurants. We really liked the garden restaurant downstairs and they even delivered to the apartment at no fee. It was an easy walk to Kathmandu Durban Square as well.

The apartment is spacious and has a kitchen suitable for cooking, wifi worked well, the bathroom is separate but private and the sink is outside on the patio. This is fine except you are in full view of the neighbors. It is quite dirty with dust and grime. The area is a long walk to thamel but you can get taxi or motor bike for $1-3 each way. The price is right so good value for the money.

Kopila’s penthouse was great. Right at the doorstep of Thamel but still very secluded and quiet so I could sleep very well during the night. I couldn’t hear noise from the road. That was great that I could do all the central explorations on foot. Apartment itself was very comfortable with nice view over the neighborhood. Kopila and her husband were very helpful with tips how to get around, which apps to use etc. Overall I would stay again and highly recommend their place.

From the moment I stepped inside, I was struck by its modern elegance and spacious layout. The location is also perfect, within walking distance to the famous Boudhanath stupa and restaurants, shops, and entertainment venues. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a stylish and comfortable home in the heart of the city.

Naveen is an incredible host, considerate and caring. When there is something broken(e.g. rice cooker and water kettle), he provided us a new one immediately. The place is very clean and fully equipped. The location is very nice and convenient too, it’s near mart and restaurant. Would love to come here again if I visit Kathmandu!

The apartment is very spacious with two bedrooms and a good kitchen with everything for cooking. Taxi is easy to the city center and scenery spots. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy and beautiful accommodation. The location was perfect—convenient and close to everything. The place itself was warm and inviting, with lovely details that made it feel like home. Rashil and Kiwako were outstanding hosts. They were friendly, helpful, and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. Their hospitality really made a difference and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. It’s a fabulous little flat with everything you need in the VIP area of the city. The family who owns the place takes lots of love and pride in making their guest feel comfortable. For a longer stay I found it just right.
