Beachfront holiday rentals in Bude

We had the best weekend staying in Amanada’s house celebrating a birthday it was beautiful. The house is even more beautiful than in the photos & my 2 year old loved looking out to sea every morning seeing the birds. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you so much ☺️ one bonus for families thinking of booking that I did not see prior to our stay is the stairgate at the top of the stairs to the kitchen it was perfect with 2 young children we could shut this off.

Hosts were really responsive and helped out with changes to dates. House was incredible and location was stunning. Really quite location and easy reach of all amenities. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again. Thanks to John and his team

Fantastic stay. Beautiful apartment in a stunning location. Could tell a lot of time and thought had gone into ensuring you had everything you needed and loads of really helpful information. Jamie and Tara were wonderful hosts; just next door if you needed but gave you lots of privacy too. Very responsive and flexible with check in time which was super helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Barbara's house is wonderful. It has a stunning view over Mawgan Porth beach and you can walk down to the beach via the dunes. Sitting on the balcony in the evening enjoying the view is a treat! The house itself is lovely - compact but it has everything you need. Barbara is a very responsive and helpful host. I would very happily stay again!

Beautiful apartment in a stunning location. The apartment was exactly as described and looked in the photos. Immaculate, high quality finishes and appliances. Beds are super comfortable, with enough space in the apartment for 4 adults or family. Location is ideal to not use or need a car, as its located beachfront, next to restaurants, bars and the South West Coast Path for scenic walks. Darren was so easy to communicate with, giving recommendations, tips and quick response times. couldn't fault at all.

We have just returned from a lovely family weekend at this beautiful house. There was plenty of space, loved the fact that every room has its own en-suite and an extra family bathroom downstairs which was great for bathing the grandchildren every night. The fire pit was a nice extra with wood provided and great to have the gas bbq with plenty of gas as well. A nice safe walk to the beach was great but if you have babies take a sling as the steps make it not very buggy friendly but this wasn’t a problem for us and we managed to lift our beach trolley down easily enough. The Sri Lankan takeaway from the beach cafe just up the road was fab and would highly recommend a trip there. To summarise, lovely house, with loads of space, great parking, nice garden and roof terrace and an easy walk to the beach, beach cafe or down into Croyde.

The apartment was beautiful and immaculate, Darren and Niamh are so friendly and helpful and have thought of everything to make a stay in Watergate Bay perfect. They gave us lots of recommendations of things to do and places to go, they all lived up to their promise. Watergate Bay is well situated for easy access to some stunning walks and beaches. I’m looking forward to my next stay at The Waves, I highly recommend it!

This was an absolute joy from start to finish.Sara was so helpful in any question I asked her and could not accommodate us better. The location is perfect the little place is gorgeous and we managed to get some sunshine on the roof terrace! We have been to Polperro a few times now and we both said this is one of the best places we have stayed in and would definitely book again . We recommend this to anyone. X

A beautiful apartment! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how clean, stylish, and thoughtfully designed everything was. The space felt both cozy and luxurious, with tasteful decor, beautiful sea view, and all the amenities you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The location was also perfect and nice having the hotel next door. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. We’ve just got back from a wonderful week at Nicki’s beautiful apartment. The views were incredible! Our boys loved watching the sea tractor going back and forth from Burgh Island, and letting us know when the tide was out and the Beach Barista was there! There was something incredibly magical looking out to Burgh Island, and we miss those views already! The apartment was beautifully presented and furnished to a very high standard. The whole set up is fantastic, and it was an added bonus to have dedicated use of the pool, gym and Deck restaurant. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous home with us. We’d love to return! What a great find! This bungalow was lovely, comfortable, warm and homely. There was a games console and dvds (although we didn’t get chance to try them). The beds were really comfy. The views from the holiday village were amazing…Even on the most miserable of days. We stayed during half term, so there was a bit of kids entertainment on most evenings in the family bar, but even if there wasn’t, there are books and games galore, besides the outdoor ones. Limited food availability (very basic) but there is a lovely restaurant across the road in walking distance too. Close enough to travel to any other Cornwall sights. Would definitely stay again. Lovely stay. The instructions on how to get to the flat and check in etc were spot on. The walk to the beach is minutes, which is fantastic. Even though we stayed in Feb half term we were lucky with some breaks in the weather, so were able to enjoy the beach. My kids enjoyed running into the freezing sea! The flat is very clean and comfy. It’s a great base for everything that the local area has to offer. We used the swimming pool twice. It was easy to book this - I did so in advance and time slots were pretty full. We enjoyed taking a trip over Croyde and having lunch and a beer at The Thatch which is a north Devon must! Thank you for having us.

Marcus's place was great for our visit to Cornwall. The apartment was very clean and in a nice building. Within walking distance to lots of restaurants and two beaches. When we got lost during check in Marcus was available over phone and he called us again later to make sure we got in okay. Very friendly!

Great house in lovely location. Layout suited us well (2 families with kids and grandparents). Washing facilities proved very useful. Pool rota worked well and there was always a time available that suited us (open 8am-7pm). Host responded quickly. Lacking house guidance but not a problem and host responded to advise. Note access into house could be an issue for less able and push chairs-steep steps to front and lowest step broken away (advised host so this might get fixed). Rear access via steps and narrow sloping and muddy path. Parking to rear -you block in your other car. Parking spaces not spacious but adequate. We loved it thank you Beach Retreats!

We had an absolutely perfect stay at Naomi’s place with our two young children. The location is perfect - 5 min walk from the beach and literally a road away from the main strip of shops and restaurants. View is spectacular when having a cup of tea by the window! Use of the amenities at the nearby holiday park is a real bonus. Apartment was absolutely spotless, and had some really thoughtful extras, like a hidden doll house, some kids books and games. Thank you for a brilliant stay, we’ll be back!

Lovely stay, beautiful location and access to beach. Spa pass worth the money, note kids can only use pool between 8.30-10 and 4-6 so it got pretty busy at these times!

A really fantastic place to stay. Every member of the family loved it. This was a house that you wanted to hang out in and felt really home from home. High quality and immaculate. Loved the location and the peace and quiet!

We had a fantastic week at Beachside. The house and location were amazing. You’re only 2 mins walk from the beach.The kitchen was well-equipped and the beds made for restful sleep.The location was perfect for exploring the local attractions and the best beach was just next to us.Also amazing view from the house!Highly recommend this beautiful property to others.

We had a wonderful stay at Talland Cliff side beach house, we stayed for two nights with our two children and Labrador, the property was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed plus a few extra touches that added to our enjoyment, the family games and the hammock were a favourite for the children and sauna was an added luxury for us :) but without a doubt sitting on the decking and watching the sea was the most relaxing and wonderful thing for us to do! The beach is 5 minutes walk down the cliff side not too difficult but the climb back up may take a little longer but absolutely worth it for the trip down to the beach, there are a couple of coastal paths within a couple of miles of the property and a couple of small eateries close by for lunch with a view. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Well this place is a pure gem! The location alone is incredible overlooking Westward Ho! beach, I’m sure whatever the weather you’d never tire of it. The bungalow is such a special calming place, very comfortable both sofas and bed. The lovely Asian furniture and interesting objects make this a very unique place! Practically it’s very well equipped and has everything one could need, especially the binoculars! I will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The location was absolutely perfect—convenient, quiet, and close to everything we needed. The space itself was incredibly clean and clearly well cared for, which made us feel instantly at home. Our host went above and beyond, leaving a thoughtful guide pack that helped make the most of our time. We were so comfortable staying at Edds house. It’s one of the nicest Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. Everything was carefully thought out and we appreciated all of the small touches (particularly the bag of local fudge!). I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Andrew was very helpful and his home was beautifully presented. Parking is super easy, it's clean, the balcony is great and what I also loved was the equipment for families. I didn't need them as I wasn't with my children. But there was a highchair, kids crockery and cutlery and buckets and spades. The rooms are very spacious, the kitchen appliances work great and the welcome package was really appreciated. I would very much recommend Andrew's home for any trip to Bude. it has lovely views of the beach, golf club and cricket ground. you're away from the hussle and bussle, although a five minute walk away from it. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

If you are hesitating about booking Cliff Cottage in Portloe then please don’t even question it…just book it! By far the loveliest Air B n b we have had the privilege to stay in. Annie and Giovanni are perfect hosts. Charming, warm, always available and welcoming but never intrusive. Together they have created a little piece of heaven. The cottage is gorgeous and perfectly situated. The incomparable views, peace and tranquillity, creative interior design, attention to detail, thoughtful extras and the comfort and cleanliness of the cottage combine to create something truly magical. They have literally thought of everything. We felt instantly at home. My husband spent most of his time staring out of the window enjoying the views and we loved spending time in the garden and enjoying the sound of the waves. Loads to do in the local area. Stunning coastal walks in either direction and the village of Portloe captured our hearts. We truly did not want to leave.
