Relax on the property or use it as a base for bush walking in the nearby Mount Cole State forest or visiting the Pyrenees wineries. Abundant wildlife including wallabies, echidnas & a wide assortment of birdlife. We are 15 km from Beaufort. Cosy cast iron chiminea on the deck; firewood supplied. Sadly, the historic meditation temple (c.1995) was destroyed in the February 2024 bushfire.

Set among an abundant and lively garden, The Barn is our fully detached, unique guest house. The building was originally a fully functional blue stone farm barn but since owning the property we have converted the space into an open plan house, complete with kitchen, bathroom, large living area and two mezzanine bedrooms. The outside remains in its original state while the inside has been decorated with a collection of artwork and objects from our travels overseas.

Close to parklands, Lake Wendouree, art galleries, wineries and lots of great cafes and restaurants. The Ballarat-Skipton Railtrail is just 300 metres away - perfect for quiet country walks and cyclists. It is comfortable inside and out with plenty of shady spots to sit in the garden.

Had a great stay. one of the most comfortable beds ever at an air b and b. best linen and pillows ever! the house was very charming and we had a roaring fire each night. very atmospheric! Sharon had left foliage and flowers and so many thoughtful touches. really special! there was even the most beautiful little carrot cake along with breakfast supplies. a very informative guest book too! Felt like being in an oasis whilst only an hour or so out of Melbourne. Susan’s place was a sanctuary the perfect winter escape! The bed was so comfortable, we had a nightly fire, there were birds and kangaroos on the doorstep and the bath was deep and perfect for relaxing. Everything was so well thought out, we had the best stay!
