Family-friendly holiday rentals in Brsečine

Just up from the Old town area, with view of the walls and fortress. Definitely have to be comfortable doing stairs, which suits for the majority of Croatia as well. You do not have access to the pool, however, jacuzzi was pristine and we used it during the day without any heat! Very friendly family, and Marija offered some local homemade beverage & dishes.

Gorgeous and relaxing space in a location poised perfectly & walkably between Old Town, beaches, and viewpoints (where else can you chill in a jacuzzi while looking at an island cursed by Benedictine monks, 100/10). Welcoming and responsive host, friendly neighborhood kitties, can’t recommend more.

Wow! What an amazing stay we have had! Hosts were always available with queries, supplied lots of information and tips in relation to Dubrovnik and left maps/guidebook also. Attention to detail was incredible and absolutely everything was thought of - board games, books, coffee machine with pods and little milks. The apartment was spotless, so clean, the views are out of this world - loads of room on the terrace to sunbathe, sit in the shade and then have a dip in the hot tub with the views. Air conditioning was great after a day strolling around the Old Town - the bus was at the top of the hill which takes you into Old Town Dubrovnik within 10/15 minutes. The hosts even sent us the timetable of the bus schedule - absolutely everything was thought out. Thank you for an amazing stay!!!

Great location, across the street from the harbor. Easy access to public transport to the Old Town.

We are delighted with the accommodation! Fully equipped accommodation to the smallest detail, even a tablet for the dishwasher. We were greeted with a gift from the house (drinks, fruit,…). The host offered to wait for us at the agreed place to make it easier for us to find the house. We had the opportunity to check in early. Everything was clean and the host briefed us and gave us tips on local attractions. We'll be back!

Sandra's villa is beautiful. we stayed as a group of 7 friends. its really we equipped, beautiful surroundings. Great bars and restaurants within walking distance and very easy to get further by cab . Great stay we'll be back!

The small apartment is very nicely located between Cavtat and Dubrovnik, both super easy to reach by bus. Mlini and Srebreno are also worth at least one visit and are within walking distance. The environment is perfect - quiet and well connected. We were very pleasantly surprised, as the apartment is newer and more modern than in the pictures. Everything you need is there, the view from the balcony is a dream, the pool is super clean and practically right on the doorstep. The hosts are available at all times and respond very quickly. We were picked up from the airport and also taken back in the middle of the night - thank you! We highly recommend!

What an intimate way to enjoy the bustling town of Dubrovnik! Pictures don't do justice to the charm of this home. It was the perfect place for two families - plenty of bathrooms and cozy common-space. Most importantly, Darko is a gracious host who provided excellent recommendations of how to approach Dubrovnik in the amount of time we had. We felt very welcome and appreciated his great communication. Highly recommend!

We love staying in this cozy studio. It was amazing to wake up to such beautiful views. The terrace downstairs was perfect for some morning yoga. We had an amazing stay!

Truly exceptional stay — the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever been in! This place was absolutely spotless — everything was pristine and felt so fresh and welcoming. It’s beautifully designed, very spacious, and filled with calming, positive energy. The views of the sea and old town were breathtaking. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, always available when we needed anything. They also provided thoughtful touches like toiletries, soaps, black coffee, and tea — such a nice surprise! The location was perfect — quiet and peaceful, yet just a 5-minute walk to the heart of the old town. I can’t recommend this place enough and would absolutely stay here again. Wow, wow, wow! There are not enough words to describe how beautiful it is at Vera's! From the first moment, she gave us the feeling of home and spoiled us and our children with loving gestures and delicacies. Okuklje and Veras accommodation are beautiful and we actually didn't want to leave. The whole island of Mljet is a dream, but Vera makes the whole thing a paradise!The garden is made with love, as is her hospitality! Our children immediately fell in love with your dear dog Bonnie and the sweet cats. The great, very clean accommodation is right by the sea, there are plenty of restaurants and yet it is very quiet and cozy! The neighbors are also all very nice people!We have already traveled a lot in Croatia, including many islands, but the island of Mljet, the bay of Okuklje and Vera were the highlight for us. What do I say ? We already miss them and look forward to next year. Because we'll be back ❤️

The other reviews are totally accurate. Marinas place was magical. It was the best trip we’ve ever been on and it was the first with our 18 mo daughter. Marina gave us her milk for our baby! Marina was extremely friendly, funny, and had perfect communication. She did our laundry for us too!! (She even removed a tough stain from our baby’s shirt!!). We could not have asked for a better vacation or a better host.

Absolutely loved my stay at Irena’s beautiful garden apartment in Dubrovnik! From the moment I arrived, Irena went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable as a solo traveler. Her warm hospitality and thoughtful recommendations truly enhanced my experience exploring the city. I was especially grateful that she arranged transport for my very early morning departure, which was such a kind and helpful gesture. The apartment itself is peaceful, well-kept, and surrounded by a lovely garden oasis. I would highly recommend staying here for your next visit to Croatia!

Had a perfect vacation at Pavicas place! The view was fantastic, swimming outside our door even better. We could have easily stayed on the patio or private dock the entire vacation. Pavica was very friendly and helpful, even shared some special local treats with us and made us feel at home. Perfect central location to explore the island and we enjoyed walking to the great restaurant down the street. Truly paradise, I hope we will be back someday!

Mara and Mijo are great hosts! Mara offered that her son Mijo can come and pick us up as we were reaching late at night and were travelling with an infant. Next day morning I had to catch a bus and wasn't sure if they accept card for payment, Mara was so nice to leave me some money to make the journey, as I didn't have any cash with me. Both Mara and Mijo were supper responsive and always replied to our queries. The only discomfort that we faced was that the property is little bit down the hill, so you have to take stairs which is not a problem but since we were with infant it was bit of a workout for us. But again that is also the beauty of the property because it makes it away from all the unwanted noise. You can also access a beautiful small pebble beach just down the hill. Overall it was a good experience!

We had a fantastic stay at Marina’s place. We booked very last minute (24 hours’ notice) but Marina made it very easy for us. We loved the house - it was spacious, clean and tidy and the pool was great for the kids. Marina was very welcoming, very responsive and very helpful. Everything went very smoothly! The house is about a ten minute walk from the sea. It is a steep path which but worth it for the beautiful water on arrival. There isn’t a beach as such but there is a natural swimming pool and a designated swimming area which was great. One point to note is that parking is a few minutes walk from the house near the church. However you can pull up a short al walk from the house to load and unload cases so it was no problem for us. We had a great time and would happily stay at Marina’s place again.

Stunning villa in a stunning location. Truly the best stay we had here. The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating with great recommendations on activities in the local area. They even went above and beyond and at short notice, let us borrow their baby carrier, for our 16 month old, for our afternoon on a boat trip. They provided toys too, in the villa. Every detail had been thought of. They also let us check out late on our last day as they had no guests arriving until the day after Thoroughly recommend. We will be back. Thanks so much for the most perfect stay! 🥰☀️

My family of six adults and a toddler had the most wonderful stay at Mato’s Mlini home. It was perfect—close to Dubrovnik yet with the relaxed charm of ocean life. The villa had everything we needed to cook, unwind, and simply enjoy time together. We spent our days by the pool, sharing meals at the outdoor table and laughing late into the night over card games. The space was private, with breathtaking Adriatic views, and just a short stroll to the ocean, a bakery, and a convenience store. Our favorite day? Renting a boat to explore the blue cave and nearby beaches. Morning runs along the long boardwalk were a treat, and the toddler loved playing in the parks—especially the pedal cars with a built-in slide! Maybe that was more for me and my husband. Mlini had good restaurants and cocktail bars, but the surprise highlight was walking to the abandoned hotels at sunset. Mato was an incredible host, always ready to help, and I wholeheartedly recommend his home!

We stayed at the apartment for 7 nights and we had a fantastic holiday. Ivona and Michael were amazing hosts. Micheal recommend plenty of day trips, restaurants and sightseeing spots. Michael gave us a tour of the apartment and pool area and helped with anything we needed. Ivona was very responsive and helped us arrange our return transfers. We loved all of the little special touches in the apartment, felt like home away home. This apartment and the hosts exceeded our expectations. Location is perfect! Thank you!

This was an excellent stay and the family loved every part of it. It was also not far off from Dubrovnik city centre (approx 15 min drive) and the beach was also a walk away. Emily was really helpful responding to any of our queries and overall customer service was great :)

We had an unforgettable stay at the villa in Lozica! It was absolutely perfect for our group of 10 ladies celebrating our 50th birthdays. The house was beautiful, spacious, and homely —ideal for a relaxing getaway. We loved the terrace with good space for dinners and chilling. The sundeck was nice, it was actually one floor above the pool and offered great views of the sea. It was the perfect place to lounge, sunbathe, and watch boats go by. The beach was just a few stairs away, only a couple of minutes’ walk from the villa—such a luxury! The location was peaceful and scenic, yet still close to Dubrovnik. Easy to reach by bus or taxi. We took a lovely boat trip from Dubrovnik to Cavtat and back, and one evening enjoyed a fantastic dinner at Restaurant Storia in the old town—highly recommended. Our host Vesna was friendly, helpful, and made everything easy for us. We truly had a fantastic time and would love to come back. Highly recommended for a special holiday with friends or famil
