Escape to Adelaide Hills ~ Nature's Den #2 (of 4)

RenaeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
My husband and I just spent a weekend at Nature’s Den in Mount George and it was absolute bliss. The outlook from the den is five stars — peaceful, private, and breathtaking. We woke up one morning to find a kangaroo feeding and relaxing just a few metres from our bed, and got to watch him while sipping our morning coffee. The space was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed, with a comfy bed and a handy little kitchenette. It felt like a true escape, yet still so close to the CBD. A perfect spot to unwind and reconnect. Highly recommend!

Hollows Hut - Luxury Couples Retreat

ClaudiaRating, 5 starstoday
This is a MUST to visit!! Absolutely incredible stay, the views are stunning, watching the animals graze with the gorgeous sunsets over the hills. Very thoughtful amenities, extremely clean and well organised! This place has everything you would need for a quiet getaway. Perfect for myself and my partner for a couples retreat, this will definitely be on my list to re-visit again maybe in the summertime! Super sad to leave, it was honestly the most amazing, relaxing, peaceful trip away. Thank you so much, can’t wait to come back! :)

Sunset Rivershack at Murbko

Killer place to stay right by the river with free to use kayaks and paddleboats, with a little dock/jetty right out the front too. A/C worked well which made the house stay cosy. Cheers!

Alberts cottage

DeborahRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
An exceptional experience staying at Albert’s in the Barossa Valley. Lovingly restored historic cottage set in the family owned vineyard. Wonderful host who prides themselves on making your stay special and memorable. Thoughtful extras such as brekky supplies, fresh fruit, teas, coffee and a bottle of their excellent Shiraz. Even made sure they replenished the wood for the open fire every night. Beautiful kitchen and bathroom. Thank you for an amazing stay!

"The Nook" Studio Guesthouse

AdamRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Our stay at The Nook was amazing. Erin's communication was excellent from the moment we first booked and all the way through our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. The Nook was exactly as described and as pictured on Air Bnb. It was very peaceful and tranquil, in what was a beautiful setting. Sitting in front of the fire, with a local Red Wine and watching the view from the windows was very relaxing. Even saw a few Kangaroos having a fight which made for great entertainment (no Kangaroo was injured). The Nook had everything that you need, and we even received some local Melba's Chocolate and a card on our arrival which was a nice touch. There was plenty to do in what was a short walk or drive and can recommend LOT 100 and the Charleston Pub for great food and wine. Highly recommend a stay at The Nook!

The Loft Barossa

CocoRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I booked my parents a weekend at the Loft for their anniversary and they loved it!! The location was absolutely gorgeous, the countryside, the fire pit and the friendly horses made the stay serene. Inside the loft was pristinely clean too! And they were surprised with complementary goodies (breakfast nibbles and many snacks) Would definitely recommend this beautiful spot!

A beautiful lovingly restored home with very comfortable quality furniture, fixtures and fittings. Great lounge with a large cozy wood burning stove. Well apppointed kitchen with everything you could need and Mellisa-Jane provided a generous selection of small goods, cheese and wine as well as the essentials for our stay. The outdoor area is great too - especially the fire pit with plenty of firewood supplied. We highly recommend this lovely house and would definately go back. Mellisa-Jane was very proactive and sociable and it was lovely to meet her too. Thank you Mellisa-Jane for a great weekend.

Woodland Way Stay

MaisieRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Me and my partner just spent 4 nights here and we just absolutely loved it. It was our first time coming to Adelaide from Melbourne so wasn’t sure what to expect. The bus was nestled in the beautiful hills of Adelaide and only about a 20 minute drive from the CBD and a big selection of wineries only a short drive away. We felt relaxed as soon as we arrived and the bus was super cosy and had such a great vibe. We even saw a koala as soon as we got out the car which was pretty amazing! Jade is just the best host… super friendly and very responsive and made us feel really comfortable. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Adelaide. Hope to return some day! :)
