In the bright basement (with windows) of our unique canal house with façade-garden, on the corner of a canal and a square with large oak-trees you find this b&b wih lots of privacy, nice rooms and close to everywhere you would like to go! You enter the spacious entrance hall with table and coffee / tea supplies; with a private bathroom, separate toilet and a cozy bedroom / living room. Renovated with natural stone and wood. This house and this area are very photogenic.

First Class houseboat studio (corner)

The houseboat is in the heart of the Jordaan area, in the centre of our city. The boat has 2 separate studios of 16m2 for my guests and another part of the boat where I live myself. In walking distance of the famous Anne Frank House and Noordermarkt. The comfortable kingsize bed is a guarantee for a good nights sleep. The huge sliding windows which can be fully openend on warm days and built in shades to give you a great view and privacy.

Unique studio on cutter 'Rosita'

We visited Rosita for 3 nights. The location is perfect, not too busy but near everything. Friedrich was super kind and gave us clear instructions. He also recommended several places in North Amsterdam. On our last day we went to few of the places and we were amazed how beautiful they were. We really recommend visiting the Ceuvel restaurant (secret garden there was so cute) and the NDSM artist colony was mindblowing. Thank you again for hosting Friedrich! ❤️ Sara and Oskari

Wir waren 3 Tage in Amsterdam und konnten alles Wichtige sehr gut und schnell erreichen. Die Dachterasse ist ein Traum und hat uns einen wunderschönen Blick und Abend geschenkt. Wenn ich nochmal in Amsterdam bin, buche ich diese Unterkunft 100% wieder.

Captain's quarters in classic ship.

Staying on Barbara's tug boat was an adventure - it was exactly as described - cozy and a little quirky, which is what we love! Barbara was a wonderful host and we felt very comfortable there - one evening she sat out on the deck with us for hours and we had the most interesting conversations. We also were able to get our fur baby fix by interacting with Pete (dog) and Bob, Barbara's 6-toed cat. The location of Barbara's place is in the Jordaan neighborhood, which has a great vibe and is totally walkable! The selection of restaurants/things to do were incredible. The part we loved the best was sitting out on the deck people watching - on the street side of the boat we could watch the controlled chaos of bicyclists, cars, tourists and locals as they navigated the street - it was amazing to watch the skill of the bicyclists! On the other side of the boat was the canal, so watching the canal traffic lazily float by. We highly recommend Barbara's place and plan to go back!

La ubicación de este apartamento es simplemente fantástica. Es el barrio más bonito de Ámsterdam, con mucha vida, mucho verde y gente que disfruta el aire libre. La terraza es única, pensada para usarse, incluso, con frío (mantas eléctricas). Un primer piso de empinadas escaleras (propio de Ámsterdam) . Cuarto amplio, cómoda cama, muy buena ducha, hermosa decoración, inodoro privado, (al lado del cuarto). Nos permitieron dejar el equipaje antes del horario previsto. Hay una heladera y un microondas de uso compartido en el piso superior. El único punto, (no es algo que puedan modificar los propietarios) es que está muy cercana a una iglesia que toca las campanas, incluso de madrugada, pero los dueños proveen tapones. Todo está previsto para poder disfrutar Ámsterdam. Volveríamos alojarnos felices!

Un superbe appartement dans un quartier calme et chaleureux, à l'abri de l'agitation du centre-ville. Tout est accessible à pied et le quartier dispose de nombreux restaurants. Mention spéciale au marché du lundi matin, qui est directement à quelques mètres de l'appartement. Rien à redire, tout était parfait.
